If I remember rightly, Europa Park told us on a club trip that they get 1850 per hour on silver star and B&M told them max capacity would be 1750.
thats incredible
That's a very nice capacity!
Sadly too many parks have 'top rides' with only a capacity of 1200 people per hour (or even less), resulting in long wait times...
@@RobbedemLike Cedar Point.
Steel Vengeance is not a people-eater at all.
Although, they do have people-eaters lower down in the lineup, like Gemini, Raptor, Rougarou, and Magnum.
I'm sorry, did they just dispatch a VR coaster faster than any regular coaster at Magic Mountain ever? Wow.
They die 😁😁😁😁😁
Kevin Krenger what?
Why are these Amaricans sooo incompetent
@@AufdemLaufenden777 That's America, imagine South America
@@AufdemLaufenden777 What's an Amarican?
Honestly, I'd guess that ride operators there aren't high school kids' minimum wage summer jobs like at many parks in the US.
The times were so good that Taylor ran out of words to describe the speed of the dispatches so he had to use emojis
Why don't we just take Europa park's operations, copy and paste them in SFA
GD is cool btw.
I mean the Germans do have experience stuffing people into trains...
@@ronylouis0 i cant breathe
He still hasn't used Planet Coaster
Time: 20sec
Verdict: Planet Coaster
Very proud to work on the Arthur ride! We are always trying to make our operations as smooth as possible. Making sure that all luggage is stowed away in our lockers, that all guests meet the safety requirements and grouping the guests prior to boarding. And, not everybody does that, I am always doing it with a smile!
What’s next
Time: 1 second
Runs 46,853 trains
*probably in 2 0 1 9*
With VR
Glove world runs those dispatches.
Hmm
Verdict: 😍😍😍😍😍
Meanwhile at Six Flags America... Still waiting on Ragin' Cajun to dispatch.
🤣
in your dreams
SiebayRoo omg same but on Roar
SiebayRoo I thought that was one of the better dispatching rides at SFA
SiebayRoo still waiting 14 minutes to dispatch batwing with vr
Too bad Eurosat was closed, that had consistent 20 second dispatches.
Yeah, the ops on Eurosat are just crazy-fast.
now if only eurosat was a good ride
@@lucasss6416 ooof
Lucas Peng Eurosat is fun though
Yeah.. because they just skipped the Restraint checks if they didn't make it in that time -_-
And in addition, if the park has a lot of people and the queues run up to half an hour to an hour, the park remains open for hours extra after closing time. In case of extreme numbers, it will remain open up to 4 hours. This is what I call: caring about your visitors.
Tim Heye Disneyland has hour long lines and that never happens, what u talkin about?
Cake_ From_A_Pan When a certain number of people are in the park, it's determined on a daily basis how long they stay open. 9 AM to 6 PM is the fixed opening time. But the more people, the longer open. And that can be from 9AM to 9 PM unexpectedly for the guests. An extra service for longer waiting times. Disneyland doesn't care for their guests. Most of the theme parks like Port aventura, Disneyland Paris or Thorpe park seem to even hate them. Europa park loves their guests and work as fast as the flash and superman together.
@@pompoen0666 well also take into consideration that these parks have set budgets and always cant have their employees stay extra with last minute warning
@@warrenmcfadden3918 So even if they have more guests and therefore make more money that day they still can't pay an extra few hours on minimum wage?
I've seen Everland operating two more hour(because of 150m wait on T Express), and 4 hour more operation??
We germans are efficent. Blue Fire was designed to operate 5 Trains, so we make sure that it does operate all 5 of them smoothly.
That's the sort of thing I pull in RCT2 when it's pay-per-ride. Seven trains, 42 per train, 30-second dispatches maximum.
Do they ever operate 5 trains? I think they are more efficient with 4, so they never operate 5.
Actually: Blue Fire operates 4 trains.. they have a 5th train, but it is only there as extra in case another train breaks down..
Blue Fire can't run with 5 trains, otherwise there would be some stacking issues. In fact, even with 3 trains they can get very close to full capacity if they don't use the unload station.
I mean the Germans do have experience stuffing people into trains...
The Blue Fire crew is one of the fastest and the most skilled coaster operating teams I have ever seen. Operations at Europa Park are incredible!
You also should've mentioned that Matterhorn Blitz has a dual loading station, so they are actually dispatching two trains at once. Same with Poseidon.
matterhorn blitzkrieg
Really?
@@itznathz9496 yeah.
In the time that this video took up, batwing is still in the station
silverstar and blue fire cant be faster than that due to the blocksections etc. they are very concistent all the time with their operations. its awesome
Can't agree more. Europa Park does still have its flaws, but the overall package is just incredible and that includes an incredible throughput at their attractions. For me, still the best run park in the world.
Europe:
We have crazy rides and crazy fast operations
Plus good theming
And then comes Port Aventura which still shamelessly runs one train on their mine train with an hour line🤦🏻♂️
Go to Port Aventura, Efteling or Bobbejaanland and you will think otherwise.
Aaron's Themepark World or Thorpe Park !! 😂
Aaron's Themepark World Efteling has 1-2 minutes operations, it's my home park. Only Baron is very fast, but Python and Joris are more like That 1-2 minute
I love Europa Park for being so fast and friendly. I just came back from Port Aventura and i was shocked how slow and unfriendly some of the staff was. I was put out of first row to take seat in second row just because i dont have GOLD Express just the "normal Express". I would get it if somebody was in line for first row but nah. They rather let first row be free than letting ride me, who payed 53 € on top of entrance. Happened at Furius Baco (5 min. express line) lots of empty seats -.-
Port Aventura operations are terrible TERRIBLE. At furius bacco it tooke them 4 mins+ for each train. That's why you always have 1-3 hours waiting time on most days. Europapark has far more visitors but far less waiting time.
I wish Universal would buy PortAventura. It would make so much sense. They lack a European park, and PortAventura has the balance of thrills and theming Universal is known for (though Universal executes it better).
Universal could easily boost attendance by replacing the staff.
@@me-myself-i787 No. Euro disney is worst enough!
I love how in some US parks it takes longer to dispatch a train than the length of this video.
is this really a thing? like im german and almost every german park is dispatching in a speed like this. wtf are us ride operators doing?
@@ichmacheinliedaus8und4 We have very good ride operators... Just Expedition GeForce not.
I am always amazed at how quickly they dispatch at Euro Mir, always seems like such a long queue, but there’s hardly any wait.
Wow! Absolutely insane dispatches! The parks in America need to take notes from Europa Park. Will there be other dispatch videos for the other european parks such as phantasialand?
Dark Falcon 500 I mean Kings island isn’t to bad but nothing compared to Europa park
Joey Kelly 01 yeah Kings Island probably has the best dispatches. On diamondback, they take you a mile in 45 minutes instead of 3 hours like Six Flags Great America would
Fast dispatches are more of a function of the guests than the staff, so I could see nothing topping Germany, as they're all a very no nonsense, clean, efficient people.
I work at a park in the US and I can vouch that 9/10 times, the guests are the reason that we dispatch late.
I work at Kings Island, and pretty much the only reason we ever have slow dispatches is because guests can’t get in the damn train or people just don’t follow instructions
Lmao. Even when you tell them you have 45 seconds once those gates open, to be seated, they just look like your talking to snakes. I've only sent one train where guests actually moved fast. I normally just close the gates on them and say you'll be on the next one.
Europapark has like 40% French 10% Swiss visitors
Yeah, but the french ones are Alsacians, so basically germans
‘Okay so how many trains do you want to run on your coasters?’
Europa Park: yes
I remember when I went on Alpen Express about 10 years ago (before the VR) and the dispatch was about 15 seconds. The train was leaving the station before everyone even had their bars down and the staff just stood at the end of the platform pushing down any remaining lap bars as the train was moving out the station 😂
🤣
Man, that triggered a core memory of that ride. I also remember the fire bowls that used to be in the mountain.
Pegasus's dispatch was delayed in the footage. It would probably be faster than that normally.
VestedUTuber no it’s so slow everytime cuz they only run 2 trains (1 on not so crowded days) ant theres no block brakes.
+Another Swiss RUclips user
Rewatch the video and pay attention. You can see one of the ride operators assisting passengers after they were initially seated in the clip.
Another Swiss RUclips user No, it’s usually much faster. The video is a bad example.
Darn Germans with their incredible efficiency
Don’t forget that there are many French and Swiss visitors in the park because it is directly on the French and close to the Swiss border. And trust me the Swiss are very slow......veeeeery slow!
I'll take that as a compliment 💁🏼♀️
too bad the majority will be speaking arabic there soon...
Haha we are superior
@@darerun1051
Racist
Lol they dispatched two trains on Arthur in your outro
That's standard on arthur, as it is with Alpenblitz, but also with Top Thrill Dragster. Kingda Ka is also supposed to work like that, but they screwed up with a very bad freefall attraction.
I've been to Europapark a lot (it's the closest themepark to where I live). And recently I've been to Universal and Disney in America. Some rides had very small/weird capacities compared to the size of the parc. The one with the round boats on the river took them forever to get loaded compared to the one at Europapark.
Few years ago they were even faster on some rides, because they actually did not manually check the restraints. At that time they only checked Blue Fire. If the systems said the restraints are good it was a go. I think they did it like this until around 2011
The capacity is amazing in that park.
Wow we haven’t seen one of these videos in awhile! I freaking love them lol. Good job on this vid Taylor! :)
Yep, 49 views and 51 likes... Just shows how great This channel is
If there are 49 views how can there be 51 likes?
Amelia Schriver RUclips glitches
Eurosat has some fantastic operations now with it's separate station for VR
Eurosat be like: hold my beer...
cuz it had consistently 35 second or less dispatches.
Europa Park's dispatch times are crazy! Of the parks in the US, only Disney, Universal, and perhaps Cedar Point even approach that speed on a regular basis. I'm guessing they probably get 2-3 times the throughput of most regional US parks.
I love the Operations Videos... Probably my favorite videos on this channel along with the Coaster Parodies.
Taylor I love the consistancy of the movement of ur right hand on the swoop. It is so funny for some reason. Anyway finally another operations video!
Yep, thats one of the best points about EP. Even when the park is crowded you can ride a lot because of their operations! :)
On Atlantica one Op even filled up two empty seats with people from another line in the queue and still they pushed the boat out in 35s
There is a documentary about the new coaster where the Mack engineers show concepts to reach the full capacity. The new coaster has 36 seconds in the station and loading should take 12s less so 24s max. :D
Why am I not in Europe yet
oh yeah my family is basically broke
I expect this stuff from the people who can load Olympia Looping in 17 seconds flat.
You mind me asking if you've done any more videos of the UK parks? Also love seeing the dispatch videos, great video! ❤️
Wow, that was something different....REALLY enjoyed that video!
I'm also noticing some policy differences that seem to majorly speed up dispatch times...
1. Loose item rules appear to be much less strict. On EuroMir, that woman just puts her purse down at her feet and holds her cellphone in her hand. Few parks in America would allow that.
2. I'm also noticing that there's no security gate at the exit like most major American parks. Dispatches don't have the wait on the exit platform to be clear of guests.
3. None of the coasters appear to have seat belts as secondary restraints.
German Engineering at its best!
I’ve been waiting for this dispatch video. 😱
Je comprends, vu depuis chez nous le comparatif est important ! // Ich verstehe, von zu Hause aus gesehen ist der Vergleich wichtig!
Schweiz 😀
I'm hoping you gonna do parodies and reviews on the european coasters and parks, it would be really cool.
Great video👍
Alberto tiozzo I will, don't worry!
I am going here on a school trip in a month and I live in England. Glad to hear this.

El Barjo And Bluefire and Silverstar^^
Yeah, I talk about Cassandra because lot of people Don't see this beautiful attraction at Posseidon's exit, take a short time and a special experience.
Yay operation videos are back!
It‘s really suprising to see, that you are all so amazed by these operation times. Until I found this channel today I was sometimes even complaining about the time it took me to enter in Europapark.
But there is a saying here in Germany: You never know how good your things at home are, until a foreigner aknowledges them.
You should do Six Flags Great America with this I wanna see the results
4:09 Glad to see I'm not the only Welsh man to have been there
These dispatches are probably so much faster since they have actual adults running them instead of lousy teenagers. Not all of them are lousy, but most are.
Gigi H hey, I’m a teenage ride op and I do my absolute darndest to get all my rides out as quickly as possible. But that’s mostly because I’m an enthusiast who knows how sucky it is when bad operations slow down wait times. My non-enthusiast colleagues don’t put as much emphasis on fast operations
im a teen too, and I know that there are great teen operators out there. Although, in my local cedar fair park, the workers are very lousy and take forever. For example, I was getting ready to go on a ride, and someone threw up. I was in the line though. The workers just stood there, disgusted about the throw up. They were doing nothing, others noticed and they started offering to help clean it since these teens weren’t having it. Like at least know that being a operator includes having to clean throw up from riders.
In Europapark there is a decent amount of teens coordinating the operations. Last time I‘ve been there the operation at the Arthur-coaster has been done entirely by teens except for one adult. In my opinion they made a really good job (entering Arthur is quite stressful). So in my opinion this can‘t be the reason for faster operation times.
Greetings from Germany
welcome to Germany ^^
i was looking for such a video about a german park for a long time
Will there be a video like this from the UK?
It does not always depend on how fast the staff check the seats it’s how fast people unload and load at that time which could be someone old or someone who has back pains or something so it will never be a consistent timing
There are different things to mention: Blue-fire, SilverStar and Woodan include in the dispatch the time required for visitors to drop the bags.
If the dispatch is fast, it is not necessarily a politics of the park, but especially in the culture of the visitors: indeed, the visitors do not like being in line and worse than that, would not want to be regarded as "the guy who delays the attraction. "
I usually go to EP and sometimes to Florida, and I must say that the behavior of American visitors is sometimes shocking, unintentionally.
It should also be noted that some park staff like to play processes and rules to delay departures, and sometimes it's for safety, but it seems to me that it's mostly to be a sheriff at detriment of waiting.
(Done with help of Google Translate)
4:58 is me and my friend when our picture is taken on a coaster
You should do one of these operations videos at Indiana Beach. (if you get the chance to go) The lines are usually pretty short but some of the dispatches are pretty bad.
Wow that amazing when you get excited when your home park is actually running to trains but nah at Europa park we run 5
I was just at Kings Dominion. A lot of people were talking trash bout u. I honestly don’t understand why! When I met you, you were so nice and u don’t deserve any of the hate you get. Ur awesome
Nick Divoria he comes off as very full of himself in his videos idk what he’s like in person because every time he was at kings island I either didn’t see him or I wasn’t there all I say is don’t judge a book by its cover or in this case don’t judge Taylor by his videos
I would put the number of seats next to the train number since that plays a big part in operations.
That’s why this is my fave theme park 👏🏻
Have you ever seen "Bobbahn" in Heide Park? We had this year around 15 seconds dispatch-time. Everytime a new train arrived to station, the train was dispatched. So this times are well, but there better ones :)
4:58 they look like so happy to be here
Blue fire run with maximum 4 trains but 30 sec. for dispatch is very good :D
Are you going to do a analyze of all the rides coming to Six Flags in 2019 like what you did last year?
Actually the Blue Fire doesn't use its 5 trains all the time.
Most of the time it's more like 3 or 4 trains at most
As an Europa-Park annual pass holder, I'm really sure that blue fire never ran with 5 trains because one of them will always stuck on the MCBR. But really good video, Europa-Park is amazing for sure :D
4:32 look at that man waving at people to move on! You can really see europapark cares about efficiency
Omggg koaster kids was right behind you 5:17-5:19
One time at parc Asterix their bobsled coaster had operations so fast that they had two trains on the lift hill at once
nice. thats not even allowed.
@@donschnulione6646 it is because it wont collide and they can stop the lift.
@@nathaneli5736 on a Rollercoaster, it is never allowed for 2 trains to be in the Same Block. that applies to every Single Roller rollercoaster, except Powered coasters. So you either lie or the second train Stopped on the Lifthill.
@@donschnulione6646 the lift is multiple blocks because collisions are not possible, but I think that most roller coasters count it as one.
4:47 IS THAT LOGAN FROM COASTER KIDS
I think it is normal for pegasus to have slow dispatches. When I visited europa park every coaster that I rode had insanely quick dispatches except for pegasus(even without vr)
You have to say that blue fire has a splited station, you exit the train, then the empty train rolls forward to the entrance gates and then the people can sit down.
Can you do one for silver dollar city if you go there again?
When you visit this park for the first time as a kid, it's actually kinda scary how they just push you into the trains, you don't have time to mentally prepare yourself at all.😱😂
are you going to do revews from this trip
Hey Taylor I am a huge fan of yours and am an active coaster enthusiast but don’t have the money to go to any parks outside of the Kansas Missouri area and was wondering if you had any tips for me how how your able to easily travel the world and ride coasters any reply would be great thanks
I think the pegasus dispatch was also on odd one because they had to manually release one of the cars restraints and have people change positions. Without that i think it should have been a good 30seconds faster.
Europe have some of the best dispatch times. Staff seem to be motivated as well
Knoebels in the US can compare in terms of doing 30-second dispatches, and CP can occasionally hit some great intervals on rides like Gatekeeper (rivaling Silver Star), but otherwise these operations are a rare find!
If only my home park had operations as good as this!
Can you do reviews on the uk parks/coaster
Pot Noodle I will, just be patient!
I’ve been to Germany 12 times but I always want to go here!
What was your fave ride on the eu tour
I was there in the holiday season so the park was really full but I still always only waited like 20 minutes top everywhere it is so awesome :D ok sometimes it was a bit longer but at Heide Park I once waited on a weekend outside of nation wide holiday 1 hour 40 Minutes so yeah Europa Park is awesome in that perspective
Nice Video i love the Park
that music always makes me think of the lightning rod parody lol
But honestly it was less checked if you were really save in the seat than in most other German parks. The only pulled the seat "belt" but they didn't try to push it down for even more safety.
Subscribed becuase of this seris ❤
Love this seris ❤
This Moment, when you Come from Germany and you are going to go to the Europapark in one week.
-> Coaster Studios : idea for next dispatch video : time/seat! Because a 36 places train need usually more time than a 16 places! (maybe the time in line?)
I dont mind how long the dispatches take, as long as I feel safe im happy
I went this summer and was so fantastic. No comparation with Spain, we work slow
You should do dispatches at Alton Towers, please
I'm sure you've gotten this before, but would you be able to do an average of a few dispatches for every ride? Just one obviously isn't the most accurate depiction of their overall operations
Mostly Coasters it isn't feasible because for some of these rides, I may only be riding them once. If i'm at a park I've never been to before, time is limited and it's not really doable to time multiple dispatches and take an average.
You can also count the time between trains from the outside.
Ofcourse the dispatch might be faster when the ride is limited by block sections, but at least it's not going to be slower. ;)
I’m going to spend the day riding roller coasters, so I think I’ll bring a purse the size of an average dog so that I have something to place loosely at my feet, and then I’ll hold my phone in my hand throughout the ride.
You really should do a Lagoon one of these
Boarding Arthur is kinda stressful for me cause the train is constantly moving 😂
