The power of cars!
Back when cars had not just character, but class. Wonderful thing done for a wonderful man who sacrificed so much.
I had a 1977 olds 442 stolen. If my kids would do
something like that. I would be doing the tailpipe.
Exactly! How awesome!
That last picture of him kneeling down in fron of the care is gold.
Your parents raised a good family, and you are blessed to have a father you love.
Can't love this enough! Julio is the epitome of what a "MAN" should strive to be. Unselfishly putting his families needs above his own. Thank you for sharing such a important relatable story. Continued blessings.
I lost the same car 40 years ago bringing it home from storage for the winter in a stupid accident. I cry seeing this video. People are good, it give me hope!
Nothing makes you feel like a kid again when you're driving your favorite car! Very sweet video and Julio's reaction is so cute.
And Dad is so cool...he never said a thing about the hood not having scoops... well raised family.. nobody had to tell them what the right thing to do is...they knew from being raised the right way... more people like this...!
He originally had the 400 manual with the mean looking scoops on the hood. Now, opted for the 326 auto because he no longer has the use of his left leg. He is unable to drive a stick. He was elated either way though and is so happy for the cruiser. Thank you for your kind words. More comments like this!
@@TheAlfaritos So wonderful that you were able to give him back his beloved car, even though it wasn’t the exact car. I appreciate that you selected one that would suit his physical capabilities. I also had a 1967 Verdoro green Firebird that I sadly sold around 50 years ago, so this video is special to me as well. Btw, the 400 he is kneeling in front of in the photo is actually a 1968. The wrap-around front parking light started in ‘68, along with the rear side lights and the lack of front wing windows.
When he sat in the drivers seat his face said it all. It was a weight he finally left off his shoulders after all these years 😢
Que bonito reencuentro.
Tell your dad my history:
In 1989 I purchased my first car , was a 1985 white Pontiac Firebird standard transmission. Drove pretty good at the mountains in Monterrey NL and around my hometown y el Nevado de Toluca. I took it to Toluca Mexico and brought my family on it .
Round trip from Belle glade Florida.
Saying I love you is one thing, showing you love someone is something else. Well done.
THIS IS FREAKIN AWESOME. LOVE IT
Julio raised his kids the right way. What a way to say thank you.
I drove the same car in high school in the late 80’s, same color. That video brought a tear to my eye. Thank you
Same here. British racing green
Brought tears to my eyes when I saw Julio as a young man next to his car. Well done.
67 firebird.... My favorite muscle car. Congrats
You are an incredible son to an incredible father. The smile on his face when he drove the Firebird says it all! Thank you so much for sharing this beautiful story and your wonderful family!❤️
That was the first car I owned. Bought it in my sophomore year in college in 1975. It was a 400 4sp. I repainted it the same color as your dad's car. I shed a tear because I really miss that car.
boy, what I wouldn't give to have my 67 Pontiac GTO back again.....
He looked so Happy.
Way to go Josh, Emma and Alfaro Family! What an amazing, touching surprise. Sending Big Island Love and Aloha ❤️🌈🌴
Thanks Jimpa! A big hug to you.
Your Dad has excellent taste in cars and he has wonderful kids. What an awesome surprise.
Oh hell yeah. That brought a tear. 👍🕺🏻🇺🇸
GOD BLESS JULIO ALFARO AND HIS 1967 FIREBIRD NOW & FOREVERMORE
What a great family, glad you guys blessed your dad I’m sure he’s given his whole life of love to you all 🙏🏽💪🏽❤️
I love this so much. Wish I could surprise my dad with his dream Ducati.
That’s amazing! Julio definitely deserved this. So proud of you for giving him his dream car back after all this time. - scottifer
Dads picture with his old firebird shows it was 68,his son got him 67 but it's very beautiful thing to do for a father, I wanted to do the same long time ago for my father and get him 1978 cadillac sedan brougham but he passed away too soon.
That smile alone makes it worth it! He has an excellent taste in cars
Your Dad raised a respectful loving son there. You got me, right in the heart. Tears here, beautiful Full respect amigo.
I guess you know you're a good man. When your kids do this.
Finally a channel men can cry watching m lol
What a freaking beautiful family. My gawd ...
The best thing, to make a Dad's heart, young again.
My very first car was a 1967 Firebird. Yellow with black racing stripes down the sides. I got it in the Military. Miss it for sure.
Nice
A man who has given everything for his family, is a MAN INDEED
Nice man look at that ride! They don’t make’em like this anymore good on you bro respect ✊🏿
So awesome you were able to do that for your father
Sorry his car was stolen but fortunately he has a loving & caring family 👍
He did what a dad is supposed to do. I am amazed by that, and humbled. Well done that man.
many won’t get this. why would so much effort be put into a car? why is a car so emotionally impactful? those folks often drive average, super boring cars & they never will get it. my Dad’s a Pontiac Man & I grew up knowing 389s & 400s. he now has 3 ‘64 GTOs & a ‘04 GTO…the ‘04 is the only one without 3 Carbs. so, I get it!….and this was amazing. thanks for sharing this. Nice Work, Dude. Nice Work
The good Son and family! Wow my man, priceless....money cannot buy or replace the joy Dad was feeling. You are the best of Mankind...thank you good man, peace.
beautiful car video and family..thankyou for sharing this..love from Scotland
Did a good job pop , you raised'em right , with LOVE .
This is a reflection of you and your Heart . God , bless you and your family .
These cars look phenomenal man. I can totally get why you would yearn for one.
Just watching this shows me! That's what and how you say thanks to parents who gives you their all. 👍
I lost my dad before i became good financially...couldnt pay him back anything....i love u dad wherever u are...ill try to be with my kids as good as u was
I miss my dad!
What a wonderful story ... brought tears to my eyes...
This is the ABSOLUTE COOLEST way to give someone a car!! No awkward setup. Perfection!
He became a dad an put y’all before himself that’s what dads do ❤
Amazing. I bet if you asked the dad he wouldn’t have traded his time or anything with his family for that car. But giving it back to him meant the world
Very cool! I bought a 70 Firebird as my first car and drove it for 5 1/2 years till I sold it. Had a lot of fun and made good memories in it. I'd love to have another one, but I am pretty sure I would want it with a/c this time around. I hope Julio is loving that car!
Did you get one?
What a wonderful story and amazing gift of love you gave! My first car (1973) was a 1968 Pontiac Firebird 350 in black with red interior. My parents made me sell it the fall of '74 after my 2nd accident in it. I tracked it down once in the mid 80s with intent to buy it back, but the owner wouldn't part with it. I've seen a few since then, but none with that color combination. The 1968 came with a 350 base and the 400 with hood scoops. Mine had a fold down rear seat to a platform that worked well for transporting my guitars and amps to band practice. I think about that car often. All I have left are a few photos. And the dime-sized cigarette burn I put in the drivers seat. It was a head turner and sounded great with glass packs and side pipes.
Hey brother...
Right there brother.
🤜🤛
From New Zealand.
🇳🇿 what a nice looking Pontiac. Colour and wheels.
All them memories came flooding back. He's home.
😊😊😊
Wow!!! I mean, *WOW!* Mine would be my '71 Chevelle SS!! Silver Grey & Black Stripes!! My 60th was Sept. 27, late gifts are always welcome! ✌😂 That was awesome! I even had a tear of joy for him!! ✌😎❤
I love it when family listens and knows how deep losing a car has scarred. And years later loved ones heal their heart!
SURPRISE SURPRISE , You got some awesome people behind you . Very happy for you .
Not sure how I got here but I'm glad I did. What a touching story. Thank u
That car is tough. Helluva family.
That brought tears to my eyes. What a lovely thing to do for Julio! I wish I could have done something like this for my dad. Bless you!
I just hope its packed with security and insured to the nines so he gets to keep this one! I can;t imagine being loved like that. He has a great family.
Fully insured and in a garage with cameras. 🤓 thank you for your sweet words.
It's the fact that you found one, and rebuilt it into his dream is the amazing story behind this story! Love your elders that treated you right!
Julio.....you did a great job raising your family. Be proud and drive safe.
You are a good man. And a fine son. Any father would be proud of you! But yours is most deserving.
Wow! Lord bless the son for making the elderly papa so happy...wow man!!!
Fantastic! So sweet of the family!
What WONDERFUL CHILDREN he raised!!!!!
Firebird was my first decent car. Bought one my junior year in high school! Loved that car!
This is beautiful Josh! You’re a great and great human being! Glad to call you a friend!
Love you brother. Glad you’re family!
You are a good son and made your father happy
Honor your mother, and father, is represented here.
Great looking dad guys.Car is awesome too🙏💯
I needed this video to be 25 minutes longer. Such a cool moment. give us a fallow up!
My dad had a 70s Maverick and I've been looking for one to bring back memories for him.
very well done comrade you have successfully done what will earn you the respect of the community and most importantly you have givven your dad something greater than the car, the feeling of proudness. Very well done
Awesome. Thanks for restoring some faith in humanity. There are still good people out there.
wonderful, tears coming down my face
If that doesn't bring a tear to your eye you have no soul. Great Job!
Redemption ... Good job making things right Son.
How precious!!
That's awesome to have family that would do that
My first car (1977-1980) was a 67 Firebird convertible 326, 3spd MT. Not to be too nit picky but the old picture of Julio with his car was a 68 Firebird (turn signal/running light is different and lack of vent windows).
What a wonderful gift from wonderful, appreciative kids.
Brought a tear to an old guys eyes! 👍👍👍🏴
the Car Show was a very nice touch.
Beautiful story, greetsz from the Netherlands europe
You Sir are a very Lucky man to have such great children
Eres un buen hijo. That brought a smile to my face. What a beautiful gesture with a well planned surprise reveal. I love you got Emma involved, too:)
thanks mijo. Saludos a el desierto!

My girlfriend bought one, brand new, same color *Verdoro Green* and had B F Goodrich Red Line Tires. It had the 326 cid, high output 285 hp engine, it was quick but not as fast as my 1967 Shelby GT 350 (306hp)
You're a good gosh darn son dude.
I'm not crying, you're crying🥲😥😢
Freaking Awesome !!
This kinda stuff gets me everytime !!
Fantastic ! God Bless Dads Everywhere !
I was only 15 when my dad died., sadly too young to have done anything great for him like this. Bless you for showing him your appreciation in such a big way.
Beautiful!!
Makes me cry. He went almost a whole lifetime and finally got a reward for everything he’s done for everyone else. This moment is so much greater than just the car itself ❤️
Wow, that Firebird was rough looking when you got it back, but boy it sure turned out nice!! Josh, that was a great way to pay back your Dad!! And the way you did it (at the car show) was awesome!! You're a great son, well done!!
Awesome family. You did a beautiful job on the car
Wish I had the money to do that for when I had my dad my father had a beautiful 68 Plymouth roadrunner super sport he bought when he was 22 years old today that car is worth over 50k
I wish some day I can do the same for
My old man 👍🏼 ❤
