I’m now down to 150lbs and I couldn’t be more happy. I will say, due to me being morbid obese my whole life, the mentality of me still seeing myself still as 298lb, makes me still very self conscious. Even today.

A year ago I was struggling with it too. I’m 5 11 and I used to weigh 220 pounds. I now weigh 175 and packed on some muscle. What I learned is consistency is key. I try to eat right 6 out of 7 days a week. On the 7th day I have a cheat meal or two. This helps me from eating bad all the time by getting it out of my system. I also highly recommend lifting weights if you can. For me it’s been absolutely life changing and I’m finally starting to like my body.
