      @cheezitza9639 Год назад +80

      I'm sure a lot of the owners of these shops that offer these challenges want their ego fed, so they make the challenges literally impossible on purpose. A good challenge should be incredibly difficult, but it should sound doable, even though 99% of the people won't complete it. You get way more money in that regard as more people are going to try and finish it. What sounds better, "We've had 800 people try this challenge but only 1 or 2 have completed it", or "We've had 10 people try this challenge but no one has completed it". 30 sausages plus a ton of mashed potatoes and a whole cauliflower in 20 minutes? I can guarantee you not many people are going to even attempt that--the fact that BMF immediately knew it was bullshit based on his response kind'a makes it obvious. An hour time limit? Well, WAAAAY more people will more than likely attempt it, and I guarantee you they'll make way more money on it too, even though they may get a couple completions.

      @@Sankuneefle it's not that bad considering 80% of the weight of it is the broth, 8 minutes is rough but not ridiculous.

      @@electrictutorial1 it's 100% ridiculous, it's 4,000,000 scoville and no the noodles were also heavy not just the broth. 8 minutes to eat something like that is a total scam

      @@uohhhcunny you realize noodles are only heavy BECAUSE of the broth right?

      Add the fact it's served nearly boiling to make it impossible. Matt Stonie completed a similar one that had a 30 min time limit and was nowhere near as hot but still took double that time.

    The problem with his fame, is that restaurants know about him, and they purposely increase the portion size hoping he will fail so he has to pay for the food etc. Its evident in the part about hard rock café. He's right about his frustration. If he had bought a product he would be in his legal right to take it to trading standards, the level of miss leading advertising is insane. If they attempted to charge me like £30 for the food knowing they have increased the difficulty just so i would lose i'd probably just walk out the fucking restaurant to be honest lol

    really great Video. I think a few of the challenges are beatable in the aftermath but especially the last one just sounds so damn tough for anyone who isn't that great with spicy food

    The Scofield ramen is truly impossible.
    But the others felt like they increased serving because they know who Beardmeetsfood from the beginning. So yeah, some of the Restos sort of cheated against beard.
