I purchased this machine from Weld.com a few weeks ago to replace my Eastwood unit. WOW! It is so much better! I had no idea what I was missing. I'm more comfortable, my welds are better, and I am no longer afraid to play with aluminum. Thank you for being a great resource for those of us that are learning to weld/weld better.
Reggie Stewart you really took it in without any KY jelly buddy 😂
Mr. Tig... Take the cover off the top of that thing and give us a 5 minute tour!
I have the HTP 221 Nice welder
mr tig was at fab tech chicago 2015 i was there with him he is awsome :)
any update after 6 yrs? shopping....
Ha, i was thinking the same too. Pedal has been updated but the machine is the exact same model for 6 years.
thanks for all your educational videos mr tig awesome job. mt200 is a dream machine.
all those who doesn't know, this is a jasic wsme 200 aC DC, it China's biggest igbt inverter manufacturer, probably the biggest in the world. mt 200 is just a rebranding of the jasic, hence the price is doubled.
can you probe it? the wsme 200 is not in jasic products or archive manuals
Unbelievable man... I just looked up the Jasic welder and it’s the exact same weld along with his so called “sweet spot” lol!!!... what a bunch of thieves and liars. These people just lost all my respect. Spend the money and get a Lincoln or Miller.
@@NeutronPerformance
You can see it on things like the control knobs and their layout. They are quite distinct in their looks, and the jasic is the same.
So this CK is very probably made at the Jasic factory(probably with ck defining quality demands) .
Add a good pedal, a stubby kit and mark up the price x3
NemesisRTCW exactly man... that is totally messed up.
i bought the jasic machine , a few years ago , cost be 750.00 cdn , a local welding shop payed 2300 cdn for the same machine but with ck worldwide stickers on it .... that said it is a very robust and capable machine
Has this guy ever laid down a nice bead and shown it. I am so used to Jody's videos and being spoiled.
For somone who calls himself Mr. Tig you'd think he would lay some nice dimes. His welds are mediocre at best.
He sucks as a dam tig welder. I could only imagine what his stick welds would look like. This guy isn’t a true welder just a paid joke who wishes he was. Jody is a awesome welder
I always think the exact same thing to my self 🤣
Dear Mr. Tig: I will be buying a 200 A machine before the end of the year. I like knobs better than other types of digital controls, but I find it hard to part with an extra $500 for such preference. I might just have to stick to my original selection: the Everlast Powertig. 210ext
+Louis Bunster The Everlast 210 EXT is a pretty good machine as well. We have a review on it you can watch: ruclips.net/video/uzv3SdV9TUA/видео.html
Still making this welder in 2023.
Sold! I been waiting for a TIG machine like this!
renthal971 if you bought this machine dude you seriously just got robbed for a piece junk Chinese machine that cost under 1000 bucks everywhere else
I tell you what , I see you even had trouble, that ground clamp was built for Charles Atlas, I am not a weak person but thar CK MT200 could use a softer spring, I can hardly squeeze it enough to do any clamping.
You honestly consider this an industrial welder just because of a few accessory. And recommend it as a Lincoln replacement.
You sold out huh? I own a everlast 250EX I would never consider it industrial if I purchased the same accessories . I also have no fantasy of it being as good as any blue or red.
I know you know the testing that goes into Industrial tig machines. I would like to see that test report.
How dos this machine compare to a Kemppi Mastertig 2500 ac dc pulse.
Before mentioned Kemppi is pretty much industry standard in Europe and also Africa and South America.
Reason for asking is that this machine even with import duties is about 50% of the price of the really nice Kemppi machine, i am sure Esab and Fronius have also something similar but with a bigger price tag
nice work
Hi Mr Tig, how can I not use the foot pedal, and get the machine to start without pedal and use remote mod using ac/dc
Thanks kindly
I got a this welder and didn’t get the sticker mr tig series on the sides. What do I have to do to get them?
i went to the link provided to buy this machine and the link is no good...? is this machine still being made? where can i get one?
i have an everlast powertig 325 yheir top of line and not happy with it for ac marine anodize weldin hope this company makes a better one close to miller dynasty 350
👍 i like it im getting one
Why are the specs not up on your link? I am always skeptical when duty cycle is intentionally left out of the description or specs on a machine.
+Rprecision All of the specs can be viewed on CK's website: ckworldwide.com/tig-machine.html
can you show the stick welding capabilities of this machine? And where would be the best place to purchase it?
Thx! Great video
Notice you ditched the Everlast welders on your website. Interesting.
+mandolinman2006 he goes where the money is
Your right on that.
I like the set up of the knobs for setting adjustments. Very user friendly. Are they available in Australia ?
+david eirth Yes, we ship globally through weld.com.
+Weld.com stick review on this machine please?
+yo lo 6010 and 7018
Looked like he was about to shit his clothes putting that work clamp on the table lol
It's not even on their website. When will it be available?
+oceannavagator the machine is available for pre-order on weld.com: weld.com/index.php/shop-weld-com/shop-weldcom/mr-tig-kits/mr.-tig-series-mt200-ac-dc-detail
We will start shipping on December 15, 2015.
You really expect us to believe this is your new go to welder to replace the Lincoln V205?
Drizzy Williams this dude is a joke and extremely dishonest. He is so full of shit that he actually believes his own lies when he actually said that POS MT-200 is the replacement for a Lincoln V205-T hahahahahahahahah!!!!!.... MR. Tig approved?.... please bro! Haha haha! He wishes that piece of junk was as prestige as the V205
@@NeutronPerformance
He's nothing but a paid shill.
On AC the Chinese machines have quite some catching up to do to brands like Miller, Lincoln or Fronius. I have a Everlast 320EXT, and its a very good welder.
However my Fronius Magicwave 2000 Fuzzy has a much smoother arc on AC. However, the Everlast has 120 amps of extra power, so for heavy jobs it wins over the Fronius, but at sub 200 amps I always use the Fronius.
NemesisRTCW I got a Everlast 210EXT and I love it. Way better then that piece of junk this guy has there. What gets me is the fact that he puts that junk in the same category as the Lincoln V205-T hahahah!!!... when he said that I nearly choked on my pizza hahah!!!... he’s lying so hard that he even believes himself hahah
@@NemesisRTCW Fronius, nice welder!
Mr TIG (Wyatt Swain) has passed away after vehicle accident. 👀👀
its a jassic wsme 200 ,, for five times the price with flashier knobs ,,, they must be nice to warrant the different price
This is suppose to be a TIG and Stick. How about doing a video using Stick with this machine.
Why don’t you be honest and tell your subscribers where this machine really came from and why people should pay another 1000 bucks for this machine when jasic sells the same exact machine with the exception that jasic is orange and yours is black with a Mr. Tig sticker on it. You and your crew know that this machine can and will never be equivalent to the Lincoln V205.
Stick weld with it please
Ive been looking for a replacement to the not so impressive Lotos tig 200 ac/dc I had. I think I found it. Whats the ballpark figure with the way you showed it?
It's a great machine but I definitely do not like the pedal. It is way too tall - throws your balance off when you have to stand and weld. It's not very comfortable when your sitting either. That wouldn't stop me from buying this fantastic welder but the pedal would be the first thing I replace.
The torch is a 5/8 thread as well as the back. You keep saying 3/8 but its now. Its 5/8 RH thread. You missed the boat on the pedal people want the SSC style pedal not that old VCR pedal. Also no Pre flow? so you need to waste 8 seconds of gas oush the oedal and push it again to start welding? that's not to smart for a new of .02 pre flow normally. Welder missed some really big marks. Check out HTP Invertig 221 Guys much much better machine. Way more features too.
As much as this machine has everything you would want, i just could not live with the 25% duty cycle. Mr Tig, with all due espect, how could you promote a machine with such a feeble duty cycle?
Is this really a Chinese made welder? I try my hardest not to purchase anything that is made in China
Rod Graff Yes, this machine is made in China.
Miller electronics are all made in China and assembled in America.
My new ESAB, made in China as well. Hard to get away from that fact.
@@t.s.racing ESAB I like
I see the chinese are getting clever these days. So WHO REALLY MAKES THIS MACHINE? CK certainly doesn't have the capability, but they do make fine accessories.
+worldtraveler
razor welders from AU
+Sarah Smith Thanks Sarah. I'd like to see the internals of this thing. If you look inside an everlast, the excessive use of daughter boards and poor layout of the circuitry worries me so I'm looking at different machines.
+worldtraveler Have you seen the inside of an Everlast in the last few years? You might be surprised... I know I was.
