I did a rough one and a half coats or so and let it dry over night, then sprayed any areas that seemed a little light the next day before I removed all the tape etc.
It was close on my short bed, I also did it pretty thick. I would pick up an extra bottle if you plan to do the long bed multiple layers thick. Remember to prep well. Best of luck!
Wow it's nuts how much more expensive everything is. I would sand it and spray with that rust killing primer first. The prep is the most key part, you want a pretty rough surface for that liner to grab into, otherwise it will separate and flake after a year or two.
@@CLASSICSAREBETTER Appreciate the reply. Yeah I'm looking at bed caps for the power wagon, and now they are going for $3k+ now too. Previous trucks they were in the $900-$1800 range. And that's if you don't add on a bunch of stuff like bed sliders and racks\lights.
Yep, I have never done that myself, but Raptor's website says you can brush or roll it on. Just make sure you prep well, how good it does is all in the prep. Thank you for watching!

Yeah, I think I should look into this for the Ford!
Thanks for watching buddy, it really came out good for being so easy to do lol. Time will tell how the color holds up, but it says it's UV proof.
Thats looks pretty damn amazing!
Thanks man, came out much better than anticipated, would look good in some of your sweet OBS rides!
Hello. How long did you wait between coats/bottles? Thank you

I have a long bed you think this kit will be enough ?

How many coats did you do? Looks good
Thank you, I didn't really go by coats, I ended up using 3.5 bottles of the 4 pack of Raptor spray in the kit. Best of luck!
Very helpful video
Thank you!
How much sanding should i do?
I would scuff it up really good. The liner needs something to be able to bite into. If you just sand, make sure its very coarse paper.
ALOT more than this guy did, thats for sure. Looks like he did the bare minimum prep work. Do it right and it will last way longer.
Now it's like $700-$900 lol. What would you do if you had some light surface rust rust going on in the bed?

@@CLASSICSAREBETTER here in North Carolina my Chevrolet dealership recommended only 1 shop for my 23’ Silverado the price was $650
You think I should sand the paint off my bed
I would definitely score it up pretty good. A few areas I didn't sand well enough peeled a bit. The rest is still solid.
Can you apply the Raptor with a roller?!
