- In 2018 NATO, the European and North American military alliance, organised one of the biggest war games ever enacted named Trident Juncture. This massive show of force included 10, 000 vehicles, 150 aircraft and 65 ships from 28 countries all being shipped to Norway to take part. And for some reason they've allowed VICE's resident dickhead Alhan Gençay to come along for the ride. Will they be able to craft his pathetic millennial character into a noble fighting machine?

Like this is important stuff, of which one could make serious (even extremely critical and aggressive) journalism on. But instead this comic relief stuff. Which is neither very funny, nor informative.
Like do they think they will have some effect by making fun of military like this? Military don't care. Heck if they are being funny guys like this, then they aren't asking the real hard questions the military rather not answer. Grunts probably had a good laugh of this guy bumming around. Escorting him probably saved them from some other assignment.

It could also have been god as a comedy but then again they also missed that bus.
This is more relevant to the UK watchers. He annoyed me until I got the act. It's not meant to be a hugely informative piece. Just a different perspective. You're not gonna learn secrets from these pieces, that's the point why the UK military allowed it.

What's up with the dislikes? I think the guy is hilarious and based on my experiences in the army this is also quite realistic view to the military excercises. Most of the time nothing happens except sometimes you get wet and cold.
