People that want “dsg farts”. Just invalid. I wish there was a barrier to buy RS5s, too many people buy it for a few months and sell it because it doesn’t drive like a turbo 4. Just adds an extra mid owner to car that only saw a few thousand sent to the states
The RS5 does NOT have bad miles per gallon. One of the only V-8's that didn't get a gas guzzler tax. And this was during the Obama years; when he totally was trying to destroy the car industry. No gas - guzzler tax. That means a lot.
My dude I'm getting 11 mpg in my RS5. I'm not complaining, but I wouldn't say it's good by any stretch.
@@tiltedtoken1450 WOW! The lowest I have had in bad back to back weeks of bumper to bumper traffic was 15. Average is around 18-19.5 for me. I don't do that much highway driving. But when I am on the highway for work I have had all the way up to 25 mpg.
My original point was that it's not a big displacement engine and that it did not get a gas guzzler tax in the year it was released. Which to most, would be a engineering feat since those years were when the oblama administration were trying to destroy the ICE engine entirely. I think 11 is low for the 4.2 L V-8. That's a shame.
Fuel efficiency is actually good. Getting around 4 to 5 kmpl in city and 10 to 11kmpl on highways.
Getting around 8kmpl while touring.
Highway i get like 25-30 but with my daily route i get around 10 mpg i do have alot of aggressive stop and go’s
