they really messed up with the 2017 rs5/ a5 design. Loved the old design so much better, easily made the best looking Audi.
This one is the best looking Audi RS5 I saw until now, those BBS wheels are perfect and AWE exhaust is always great.

but the Audi 4.2l is about 10 years older... Still Cudos to Ford to finally making a muscle car that revs over 6000rpm
PaganiZondaF650hp Well since im very familiar with the brand, Ford made high revving engines since mid 90's. Ever since the induction of the modular engine the red line has been higher than 6,000. The GT engines are 6,000 rpm and the SVT engines of yester year were close to 8,000 rpm. Now technology has pushed the bounds and were getting close to 9,000 on V8's which is incredible. I love Audi's too, I had my B5 A4 1.8T for about six years along with two of my mustangs...
***** well my "over 6000 rpm" was of course a bit exaggerated. But no stock mass produced ones went over 7,5k as far as I know. But I am a German and don't know your car scene that much.
PaganiZondaF650hp it's all good! We learn from each other. The 98 Cobra and 03/04 Mach 1 has some fast ECU so it's capable of those high revs from info floating on the net.

Watched this video when it first came out, now watching again since I got a B8.5 S4 and now I have to drive one of these!
That RS5 in white with the blacked out grill and those rims is one of the sickest rides I've ever seen! and that sound of the high revving V8! Worth every penny.
The blacked out grill is nice but he shouldn't have painted the fucking logo black as well, that kind of ruined it.
RUclips suggested this video to me and I watched it without checking the channels subscriber tally and could not believe it. AMAZING JOB MAN! Definitely subbed, this channel is gonna be huge in no time.
I like the looseness of your filming style with the chopping and cutting of the video, and the different qualities of footage. The dialogue doesn't drone on, and you went back and shortened things for us ADHD folks, but left the most important part- the HD drone footage of the car- unmolested. The car revs high because it is a flat plain crank, which fires differently than a cross plain crank which gives you that burble like a Camaro, Vette, 5 litre coyote mustang or chargers and challenger. High end companies that use v8's use flat plain cranks to give a smoother exhaust note.

Totally agree! There's something about this car that I love over my 2018 C63S coupe. It's night and day between the cars but I find myself driving my 2014 RS5 more! It's beautiful and pure Audi!

Great video. You have latched onto something that guys from my generation, or at least those who SCCA raced know. You do not have to go 0 - 60 in the low 3 second or high 2 second range to have fun in a car.
I raced a TR 3 which had hardly enough horsepower to run my lawnmower and that was the best racing I have ever experienced. For reference I have owned a 68 442 with a 400 engine, 69 Buick GS with a 455, 68 Coronet with a 440, 69 Mustang GT with a 390, 69 Camaro with a 396, (all my cars swer set up to run in the low 11's and high 10's, I have driven a Ferrari Testarossa, driven a Can Am car at 187 mph, but nothing was as fun as that TR 3 with all of it's 150 full race spec horsepower.
The ability to actually use the car, control it and race without having to hold catch your breath because of the power acceleration to the corner turn in, catch the power oversteer, blast out of the corner and accelerate to do it all over again. Fun but not really taking into account your racing ability.
The fact I could race against a mustang with a 302 V8 and keep up with it tells the tale. In the straights it pulled away but when we were in the twists it was no match, I could play with it at will and pass it because I had much better cornering ability.
I was racing the car instead of keeping it under control, which sounds weird but racers especially SCCA racers understand what I am talking about. The average guy does not have the reactions of a F1 racer, which are incredible and superhuman, so having a Hellcat is fun but BRZ is much more enjoyable. This is why the Porsche Boxster is a better fun car than the Porsche Turbo, GT3, etc. Of course I would love a GT3 but would enjoy a Boxster better everyday and on the streets I can drive.
So great work with showing what it takes to have fun with a car.

Maybe next time you can hit on some of the pros vs cons of the cars you test/drive. Also go over some of the performance data since the viewers cannot really get the feeling of the power of the vehicle. More over technical specifics.

love this..... this makes me want to make a video on my RS5 this coming summer!!! 100% agree with you..... in no way is it the fastest car I've driven or owned, BUT, it is fun to drive. The sport dynamic mode does wonders to the steering, throttle response, and exhaust note!!

Nice vid man :) I just got Suzuka grey Rs5 like the one in this video. My choices at the time were Audi S5, GT-R, or M3. I came from a 500 hp twin turbo G35. I was initially disappointed with the lack of torque when I test drove the RS5. Even though I miss the low end torque of my old car, the overall package of the RS5 is what sold me. The engine note is a big reason I bought the car... the throttle blips when downshifting just make you smile. One of the last of the high revving naturally aspirated V8's.
I had to retrain my brain to learn how to drive this car. You really need to downshift a few times, and punch it at 5-6000 rpm to get the most out of it. It's not super fast, but it's a quick car for sure. And from a dig you can murder many a car from a stop light (if you choose). Was planning on modding next with the eventuri intake.

This just be my opinion but I would love to see more videos on how you're able to afford these cars. Again idk if it's just me but when i see someone driving nice cars all the time, see them pull up to a nice house, the first thing i'm thinking every SINGLE time is "how does this dude afford all of this"? I know you said you are a software developer but every software developer i know doesn't have a lambo, and m4, and has gone through all the cars you have gone thru.

I'm actually a BMW enthusiast, but tbh, this car is pretty sick, especially the sound of it...obviously you can't get that with the M4 because it has a twin turbo engine, but the M3 E92 though...well that's a whole 'nother story...

Ben Sandoval I'm not trying to be a dick but there is no such thing as a BMW M3 V6 :) There is only BMW M3 inline (or straight) six-cylinder engine, like the E46 which is my favorite car of all times because it is the last true M3, although the E92 M3 definitely sounds better!
