Looks like s5 v6 wasnt on e85 or even on a higher pump gas tune definitely not in the 500+ bhp or else he would of pulled hard on the rs5 on the roll.
Title is misleading, S5 has a lot more than a tune lol I think they consider that a stage 2+ dual pulley and throttle body upgrade along with ecu+tcu tune
Stage 2 dual pulley 91 map, can test pipes, cts dp, awe touring exhaust, ecu tcu stage 2 from ie, heat exchanger, ca intake
Whenever you have tuned cars, can you mention which fuel they are using? It's rather imperative. A tuned car on 91 wouldn't be in the same zip code as the exact same car on E85. I don't know what fuel you have access to as well so it's all a major question mark. Just an idea.
More alleged power more torque and less weight I wonder who wins
an m performance bmw would walk both of them lol that said, the rs5 is intended to be engaging and special, not a numbers machine. a bit like the LC500 in that way. last of a dying breed perfect before it's gone, and not focused on just numbers
Audi RS5 vs S5 2 car or Tfsi Engine Yes
S5 seems to rev without the limiter - how?
tune
@ had a remap and pulley mod + Milltek on mine. Exactly 500hp (2011 owned since new). It’s my absolute pride and joy and looks like it’s just rolled off the production line.
Don’t suppose you know how they unlock the limiter?
Coulda told u this was gonna happen lol dual pulley ftw
2010 s5 manual v8
This is comparing 335i vs m3
This almost 10 year old RS5 is down 125 lb feet of torque vs a 2022 model. Never mind the wear on the engine parts also. Entertaining but not how a race against a new RS5 would go.
Competitor was 2016 still better technology but definitely no 2022
I sure wouldn’t want to be in that S5 when the engine grenades. 😟
Who’s the owner of the RS5 I have some questions!
what's up bro what would you like to ask?
@@xrs5avagex467 There's one near me that's for sale, beautiful car (i love that gen with the 4.2L) - its got nearly 70K miles on it though. Thoughts on mid term reliability/maintenance? It's got brand new brakes on it which I heard is the worst part of these things. That and carbon build up lol.
@@MWCRUSADER0508 the car it self is pretty reliable. The big cost is maintenance: Carbon cleaning is 1500-2000, full DSG is 1000 in parts plus labour. Whats important when buying one is how it was maintained before and how it was driven. As long as you let the cars warm up properly you can drive them hard all day long. If you can get over that i say grab it.
@@xrs5avagex467 I was gonna ask how the carbon cleaning was so cheap. then realized you guys dont need to pull off a supercharger. Feels bad :(
@@matthewdiabo2879 it depends where you go. But on the 3.0T the cost per cylinder is the same. Just extra 300 for labour + Seals. Seals and injector o rings is what's expensive. that alone is about $500-$600
Roll races are hella diff. Cars stick to you for much longer.
Like from a dig a bmw 335i can smoke my lil Subaru outback 3.0r.
When we raced from 80mph. He could not pull away. He pulled away after 100mph but not very fast.
Same thing with slower cars. I beat them off the line. But if we race a top. They are much harder to gap.
Dig races are better. They require more skill than just power.
