Disrespected, he rebelled against the celestial court, went down to his Flower Fruit Mountain and declared himself King even greater than the heavens.

After the destinated one received Wukong's memories from Erlang, he realized how much Wukong wanted to get rid of that damn headband. So he refused to wear it again, and it also made Wukong and the destinated one jumped out of the cycles... But there're still more details like the story of Erlang in the game, it writers Erlang took something from Wukong's dead body after the fight, that supposed to be his memories.. And the story of the snake lady's husband in Chapter 4. It writes he was controlled by the strings from the sky... So actually all manipulated by the court... If you're immortal we can't kill you, we'll kill those mortal ones you care about around you... That's what they did to Wukong and even to the bull in chapter 5... Really hope there will be DLC so we can go up and slaughter the court👺👺👺

For anyone confused on the story of the game So basically the real wukong committed suicide in order to get rid of the crown, the same crown that made him a slave to the celestial court and he asked Erlang Shen to scatter his 6 relics around the Yaoguai kings so that the destined one (the guy we play as who is secretly the 6th relic of wukong and they look identical) can collect all the relics and become the new wukong. The wukong we are fighting here is the dead body of wukong, still having fighting instincts even after death.
The 6th relic is the mind and memory of Wukong that Erlang kept safe. When Erlang gave the 5 relics to the bosses a soldier has seen that he took a part for himself. That soldier later told it to another soldier what he saw. Erlang then killed both of them so noboy would know that he has the secret 6th relic.
Bajie translates to "8 precepts". These are the 8 precepts in Buddhism. This name was given by Bajie's master (the monk sitting on a horse in the last animation) to remind Bajie of the 8 precepts that must not be broken: gluttony, lust, greed, jealousy, deception, laziness, fear of hardship, and greed for merit.
There will be second chapter were the destined one's fight the kingdom of heaven for sure after he got wu kong's memories and feel the pain that is also why the destined one's is a succesor of wu kong
I read part of the lore right around when I get the somersault cloud for reference! Long story short, supreme inspector told on Bajie for some crime and he was punished and turned into a pig I’m pretty sure
the suprime inspector told Jade Emperor that Bajie harassed some lady from the moon according to the novel, but Black Myth changed some of Bajie's backstory so we can't be sure what happened

The man may be Jade Emperor.So Jade punished bajie to the realm, and became a pig.
For my first win with the great sage I had the full Wukong set and staff and maxed out pillar stance with max attack, defense, stamina, and health bonuses on the skill tree and everything up to the skill that gives you clones when you perfect dodge and the one that allows you to perform light attack combos without stamina
@@mide1006 make sure you max out health, mana, and defense if you can with Xu Dog and the celestial medicines! And carry a septenary heart fire pill, life saving pill, evil repelling medicament, and/or a soul remigration pill to massively boost your survival
I think it's funny how they just did a Nerf on elden ring because people are complaining it was too hard but this game is definitely more challenging than any of the dark souls games, especially just starting out in before NG.

After beating Erlang I ran it back with max thrust stance, max attack, max mana with spellbinder and went crazy lol
