@@samimermer1982 nah spinning the staff is better u dont use mana doing that like what your saying use cloud step and clones use mana and clones using a shit ton of mana you probably never beat this boss when your saying that shit get outta here😐
@@coreypasternak9435 have like 400 mana. Didn't use pluck spell. Tornado trinket or rock transformation to destroy shield. Use your invis to leave a clone and let it tank the phases where he does shit ton of damage, also do it when your in a situation where you need to heal or when he does some combos you can not avoid. Took me about 15 tries max.
Let me help you. There is a cheat to beating him. 1. Vessels: Equip the vessel that you got in the last chapter 5 the fan. It staggers him and it also slowly removes his shield (completely for some time) 2. Equip the big head dude 3. You want the full set of Golden Armor. Every Critical hit it resets the vessel and the big head. 4. You want the Ruyi Jing gu Bang as your main weapon. It does the most damage and gives the most crit. This and with the amor set goes hand it hand. Gives crit and the amor provides more qi. 5. Gourd, you want the supreme gourd. Found in chapter 5 near the 2 giant dudes before fighting the YinYang guy. 6. Drinks: You need to have the sunset of the nine-skies. Gives you QI this is great when you need health and need a little bit of push for qi for your vessel and your giant head 7. Soaks: Lotus seed, laurel buds, and bee mountain stone. For damage reduct, healing, and mana 8. Transformation: Azure Dust (For some reason he doesn't attack this transformation, might be a glitch?) Use this to break his sheild 9. The only most useful is the staff spin. Where you swirl your staff while you move forward. How it will play OUT: In the beginning, right before he attacks with the leap, lock on to him and use the vessel. Lightly attack him. Don't attack him where he gets out of the tornado. The moment his shield breaks use the big head, then immobilize him, use the staff spinning move to gain qi (make sure you move forward while spinning your staff) and damage. Once he breaks out of the immobile you should have about 3 charge points use it all on him. He will break into the first phase with the giant axe. Avoid the giant Axe by just running forward. Repeat this until you beat him. P.S USE THE FAN ONLY WHEN HE IS VELNERABLE AFTER THE FIRST TIME, THIS WAY YOU GET THE MOST AOUT OF THE FAN. The thousand knives. You can use the basic staff spin (where wukong stands there and spins his staff) to block the main knives. You should doge the red special attack. Don;t forget to use your gourd when you are either almost about to die or when you need a little bit more qi. DON'T GIVE UP BRO. I BEAT THIS GAME 4 TIMES AND I RESTARTED MY GAME FOR STREAMING PURPOSES. I died to this guy over 50 times until I learned about this hack and it was satisfying bro after beating him the very first time.
This is basically a guaranteed strat, which is fine! But also takes pretty much no skill to beat him. I know Floverse and majority of people don't roll like that, we'll die hundreds of times if it means we beat the boss with our own skill and not some guarantee Strat that we found on RUclips or Reddit. This Strat is great! I've done it on my ng+++ playthrough. But on a first playthrough you definitely shouldn't do it. Ruins the experience and feeling of true accomplishment.
The satisfying is real when I did it on 10th cycle few days ago (of course the difficulty max out at 6th cycle) but I do it without the easy way this time which means I figured everything on my own and tried a lot of times to do it.
The most beautiful Erlang Fight with Wukong in movies was made in 2017 movie WU KONG They both have a majestic digit v and the effects of that movie rival Marvel Avengers . Also the stone monkey in the game is inspired from Stephen chow movie journey to the west 2 . In that movie , wukong transforms into the stone monkey giant.❤
A tip for Erlang: If you use the Azure Dust transformation against him, he will stand there and do nothing. And don’t make the same dumb mistake I did and deflect his phase 3 sword rain with staff spin.
Bro got worked by Erlang. Use staff spin to deflect the river of swords, then dodge when he flashes red. And you can use the fan and azure dust to break his shield. Gold armor set will give you more uptime on both if you need it.
@@christopherperez1252 Yeah..... the common one of wu kong original armor..... But......... it will only get stronger if you are on 3rd cycle and get all 18 relic.....you also unlock "wukong stance" after that
Bro hope you didnt give up. The way to dodge that massive laser is to get near and watch his hands. He will clap/join his hands together, dodge during that animaton.
Just beat this game today. I will say erlang is the last hurdle, if you beat him you will be just fine against the final boss. Don’t give up you’re right there
On the part where erlang shen shoots swords at you use the button the deflects arrows or cloud step. Also, to dodge the red flashing sword watch the flash and time it correctly to dodge it.
i had been waiting for this. so excited for the next episode. if i may offer an tip. the plaintain fan is really good for breaking his shield you can immobilize him when his shield is down. but it only works twice. you can use aparama bat spirit to freeze him. when you take his shield down you only have 30s before it comes up again.
Best way to beat him the fan for breaking his shield. Use the gord that helps you can chi everytime you drink from the gord. Use the stone monster transform spell cause erenlong doesn’t attack it. Use fire circle for healing and using the spill deflect to deflect his flying swords while in circle. Then dodge when you see red light from him.
Here is my strat: Items needed: Full Monkey King set, Fan, Immobilize, Cloudstep, Life saving strand, Mythical Frog Spirit, and the Rock Transformation(Azure Dust). When you start the fight, use immobilize. This is the ONLY TIME in the whole fight where you can use immobilize. Use your spinning attack to build up Focus and deplete Erlangs shield. When the second phase starts(after he uses the AXE), use the Rock transformation. Erlang WILL NOT ATTACK YOU so just use the transformation to deplete as much as his shield as you can. When Erlang gets his third shield, use the Fan to stun him and deplete his shield. Use Cloudstep to heal, and dodge attacks. I highly advise not using pluck of many to conserve mana. You can use the Frog whenever you want. You can block his flying arrow attack with the staff spin, and use Cloudstep before he performs the red attack. Life saving strand basically gives you an extra life if you die, IS COMPLETELY PASSIVE, and doesn't use any mana. With this strat, you should beat Erlang fairly easily!
bro for the transformation use yellow loong he’s way faster and for the part where he throws the projectiles then does a big attack u can deflect them then dodge the big attack I forgot what button it was but ik u can deflect them also use the fan against him it helps so much
ngl, i definently abused staff spin against erlang. great vid Flo! id love to see a death counter at some point against these more memorable bosses lol
you got this bro, staff spinning blocks flying objects. And to Erlang, pay close attention to his third eye, which is basically a signal you tell all the timings, simple, when his third eye blinks, dodge
and also, Erlang cancels all transformations by the hawk attack (except for Rock) and Yin Tiger just can't dodge it cause he's slow or big or somethin, just try some other transformations. BTW, to each transformation, Erlang has a line talking sh.t about it, lol
Swords are projectiles so block them with spinning attack. Use the fan vessel to get rid of his shield. He attempts to attack your Transformations to get you out of them but... if you dodge the initial attack of his animals, you stay in Transformation. And use all your potions, drinks, buffs etc. P.S Believe me, he's worth it. The prize is real good! ... and you'll get the true ending too once you go to the final boss.
The demon bull armor helps keeps you from dying use the plantain fan and when you break through the shield pop some attacking critical medicine to finally working down his health
Bro when you were fighting the massive rhino and he seemed tanky, you had to use 3 charged focus points on the horn, the baby worked because it also packs a punch.
TIPS: 1, To spin the staff to block when he flies and thow you the massive nifes. 2, The only transform you can use against him is the silly stone man. He won't fight back if you transform into that stoneman. But he will make fun of you. In chinese dub, he says Wukong jumped out from a stone, maybe you should try it too😂 3, If you can do more See Through attacks and that skill that turn yourself into stone (forgot the name, it is the one you can replace Cloud step), it will be easier. And remember to release your 3 point focus more often. I see that you always forget to use hard attack when your focus was full.
heres some tips for you: he hesitates to use 3 point because he's probably gonna get hit and die. Rock solid doesn't replace immobilize, and rock solid is useless against erlang.
@@bretthughes1657 Oh sry i forgot, i used rock solid to replace the Cloud step. Maybe it's my personal preference. I used it kinda well against Erlang. And I clicked one point on the last trait to get mana recover upon successful deflection, so I had endless mana. He didn't have to release 3 point focus with smash stance. Thrust Stance's hard attack can easily hit him without getting hit by Erlang. Ofc it is possible that Erlang dodge it, but he won't 100% dodge. And if you use the full 4 star(3 star plus the full bar of focus) You have high chance to hit him. I donno why. And you jump so high that he can not touch you with melee attacks.
@@chickencombo7563 With the rock man, you don't need to evade, Erlang just stands there and lets you hit him without blocking you. Ofc you need to push him to the edge of the invisible wall. So that he can not walk away. The stone man walks too slow to catch up. You'd better to start transforming when you push him near the invisible wall.
lol. Spin your staff to block the incoming knives. Just keep sprinting works too. Then wait til AFTER he flashes red. That's when you dodge. Only took me 50+ tries over two days to figure it out. 🤣
U can use the plantain fan to break his shield Immobilize him after his shield breaks and start spinning ur staff on him ( this will generate Qi which will help u to use the fan again ) . Repeat this until the end Hope this helps!! And the attack which u are facing difficulty… First step start spinning ur staff to deflect the small swords , when u see the red light blinking, stop spinning and focus completely on dodging. This will increase ur chances.
Gotta use the plantain fan from the end of chapter 5 brother. Use the bat to freeze him and you can immobilize when he has no shield so you can use that to staff spin him when he’s frozen and immobilized to get your QI back. I’ve beaten him 3x. Use the fan brother, the fan is very important. Also, that move you can’t dodge staff spin and use cloud step at the last second. Works every time
For Erlang I would recommend saving up as much mana as possible till the last phase. After that, I would recommend using the pluck of many spell and the plantain fan, which absolutely destroys Erlang in his last phase. In his first phase, I would recommend using Azure Dust, because Erlang just doesn’t attack in that transformation, letting you just chip away at his shield. The pluck of many does a ton of damage, the plantain fan destroys his shield, and Azure Dust destroys a large part of his shield, letting you use the more powerful plantain fan later in the fight.
Erlang is just one of those boss fights where you do good the first times but lose a lot later on. I remember I got him to a cm of health the first try, and then it took me like 7-8 more tries to kill him.
The fan works on him. The cloud step charged attack works if you can time it right. If you dodge his transformation attack you can stay transformed. Yellow long works good for this. Hope this help.
Yall showing the homie how to win and im over here tripping and enjoying the series. Yall helping is going to make this greatness end sooner and i dont want that 😂😂😂.
Actually huge respect for my bro for playing his actual game without trying to cheese things. That said, I really wish you install it back and finish this journey. After this, even the final boss will look much easy. Hoping to see you back with another Wukong video bro
You need to use the wind fan azure dust on him you need the supreme gourd with the gi gourd drink so you can use the wind fan as much as you can so you can get rid of his shield
Charge your heavy attack to lvl 3+ and hit his horn to brake the rhino horn Wind chime deletes the deer's tornados to just breeze through it 😊 Just need enough stamina and hp for the grasshopper. Last boss is just a straight up brawl.
And continuing on how the Gifts from the Obsession-Realms can help with each 'Hóuwáng-armor Guàis,' Spell-Binder can be used against the Gold-Horned Rhino, and, having a bug form n' all, Emerald-Armed Mantis can be vulnerable against the Weaver's Needle(......maybe, maybe-not? I forget if I ever saw it being effective in anyone else's gameplay, or not; 😅If not, can just use the Plantain Fan). I love how the bosses can be dealt with differently through these methods, even though most gameplays I've seen, people find the Rhino first, struggle with Cloud-Treading Deer, both help to give Max. Health & Stamina for Feng-Tail General, then ending with Mantis wearing the 3 armor-pieces. 🥴Quite funny how so many get that order, eh?
Finally bro I was waiting for you to drop wukong!! I’m addicted and you better beat the damn game because I literally don’t watch other yt’s play this game because of you!! Lock in lil nga!❤😂
the one you cant dodge is pretty simple just use mobile staff spining and it would block all the swords coming to you and after that dodge once to avoid the red lightning attack and make sure you use the fan u get from ch5 to remove erlang,s poise the fan will completely remove it and he will be more vulnerable
Gotta use fan and azure dust transform to break poise And upgrade cloud step so it lasts longer. He's targeting you bc he kills ur decoy before the big attack
First. you need to upgrade your health,Mana, and stamina all max. Second. use the fan so you can take all Erlang shield Last. make sure to gat the Azure Dust transformation because Erlang will not stop you
Still on the sand chapter of Wu Kong and didn’t want no spoilers but coming across your entertaining videos makes me want to Watch you play it all the way thru
Yellow long & Erlang took me the longest to beat. Erlang was definitely more difficult for me, but I didn't find the great sage as difficult since I beat it within like 1 hour. Erlang and Yellow Long took me like 3 days of playing 🤣
For everyone telling you to use Azure Dust(the stone transformation) the reason he doesn’t attack you is because you’re not considered a threat in that form. Erlang has met every transformation you have in your arsenal(not spirits) so he actually has a unique response to any one you transform into. Which is why when you go into Yin Tiger he says “Good timing, my spear needs sharpening” and forces you out of it. If you dodge his bird attack you can hold your transformation, but you can’t block it. But I digress, the rock can be a nice cheese to get some extra damage in if necessary since Erlang literally ignores you. I won’t give too many tips but over the Aure Dust, switch to Plaintain fan. It’s how the boss is meant to be approached which is why you get it right before you’re able to go fight Erlang.
You can staff spin nearly any projectile. Including erlang's fly move. If you're desperate use a stunklock build. Look it up on RUclips it's broken asf
Dude! Don't give up! You are dodging Erlang's attacks much better than I did man! And you did not use the Plaintain Fan ONCE! You totally got this if you can use the fan in at least 1 phase. Also, you can use staff spin (stationary or mobile) to block his sword barrages. Be sure to watch out for the last attacks of the two when it begins to turn red though.

The rhino was just annoying bruh 😂😂 yellow long and the tiger vangaurd had me furious 💯💯
47:45 damn I've never noticed this in my playthrough but they actually put an animation for Erlang blocking attack from the back in the rare case you actually hit him from the back.
Bro, you are too funny! All you need is to spin your staff in place when he's doing the sword rain move in the sky, and dodge forward at the end.
Or just go invis and have your clone tank all the damage 😮
"I really dont think i'm going to struggle that much" LOOOOL just you wait 😂
Let me help you. There is a cheat to beating him.
1. Vessels: Equip the vessel that you got in the last chapter 5 the fan. It staggers him and it also slowly removes his shield (completely for some time)
2. Equip the big head dude
Gives you QI this is great when you need health and need a little bit of push for qi for your vessel and your giant head
7. Soaks: Lotus seed, laurel buds, and bee mountain stone. For damage reduct, healing, and mana
8. Transformation: Azure Dust (For some reason he doesn't attack this transformation, might be a glitch?) Use this to break his sheild
9. The only most useful is the staff spin. Where you swirl your staff while you move forward.
How it will play OUT:
In the beginning, right before he attacks with the leap, lock on to him and use the vessel.
These are great tips, I've also beat the game 4 times now, and the Qi strat works amazing.
Goated comment 💯
backseating someone who didnt ask is just such a miserable act. let him figure it out on his own u weirdo he didnt ask for help
"You are not him, after all"
The supreme inspector pimp slapped him with a head but 😂
HONEY WAKE UP FLOVERSE JUST DROPPED
You're a savior man. There's no way I would have finished the game without your videos.
The most beautiful Erlang Fight with Wukong in movies was made in 2017 movie WU KONG
They both have a majestic digit v and the effects of that movie rival Marvel Avengers .
And use plaintain
That too.
@@DuncanMaisonneuve-kk3vf you get the azure dust from beating erlang so untill he does it's no help
Erlang and Wukong trained under the same master. That's why he was able to immobilize you
Bro got worked by Erlang. Use staff spin to deflect the river of swords, then dodge when he flashes red. And you can use the fan and azure dust to break his shield. Gold armor set will give you more uptime on both if you need it.
bro respect to you for beating the supreme inspector without using the fan to get rid of the fire
In chapter 6 after you get the cloud go back to where you first spawned. In the mountain behind you uptop is a chest with armour.
Wait for real?
@@christopherperez1252
Yeah..... the common one of wu kong original armor.....
But......... it will only get stronger if you are on 3rd cycle and get all 18 relic.....you also unlock "wukong stance" after that
Bro hope you didnt give up. The way to dodge that massive laser is to get near and watch his hands. He will clap/join his hands together, dodge during that animaton.
its better to look at his third eye. If you dodge as soon as you see it, you should be good. same with his single sword attack in 2nd phase.
Just beat this game today. I will say erlang is the last hurdle, if you beat him you will be just fine against the final boss. Don’t give up you’re right there
Almost lost my mind because of laughing while watching you play man! 😂 so much entertainment 😂😂😂
Lol i feel that man. I found using the fan from chapter 5 helps a lot. It staggers him and depletes his poise
its been 1 month g when it is droppin
On the part where erlang shen shoots swords at you use the button the deflects arrows or cloud step. Also, to dodge the red flashing sword watch the flash and time it correctly to dodge it.
The fact that he had the plantain fan and never once thought of using it
52:56 u can block the projectiles with the staff spin
and use the fan to get rid of his shield easily
I like how he used to say "open area is this a boss fight?"
To "open area this definitely a boss fight" 💀
I think Erlang is even harder than the boss in chapter 6 your friends were talking about.
Erlang IS the boss in chapter 6 his friends were talking about lol
i had been waiting for this. so excited for the next episode.
if i may offer an tip. the plaintain fan is really good for breaking his shield
you can immobilize him when his shield is down. but it only works twice. you can use aparama bat spirit to freeze him. when you take his shield down you only have 30s before it comes up again.
Respect that he never learned how to use special item :)) while the fan from chapter 6 is Erlang weakness
Best way to beat him the fan for breaking his shield. Use the gord that helps you can chi everytime you drink from the gord. Use the stone monster transform spell cause erenlong doesn’t attack it. Use fire circle for healing and using the spill deflect to deflect his flying swords while in circle. Then dodge when you see red light from him.
the sound way to defeat Erlang is to use rock-solid with full rock-solid build and thrust stance, that's all you need
I love the moment of clarity: "WHO IS THE FINAL BOS?!"
Here is my strat:
Items needed: Full Monkey King set, Fan, Immobilize, Cloudstep, Life saving strand, Mythical Frog Spirit, and the Rock Transformation(Azure Dust).
Life saving strand is in NG+ flyover se is in his first play through
Bruh I loved watching thjs, was rooting for you the entire time.
41:40 YOU ARE NOT READY MY GUY LMFAOOOOOOO
The only streamer that doesn’t use the tornado or any of the vessel powers
You gotta dodge sooner. Once he flashes red with the rain of sword ability dodge. It seems too early but that's the timing.
The actual final boss isn't as hard, but like Erlang, sure is a well designed one.
bro for the transformation use yellow loong he’s way faster and for the part where he throws the projectiles then does a big attack u can deflect them then dodge the big attack I forgot what button it was but ik u can deflect them also use the fan against him it helps so much
ngl, i definently abused staff spin against erlang. great vid Flo! id love to see a death counter at some point against these more memorable bosses lol
52:08
“It was that moment that he knew, he f***ed up” 😬
(Because of your mana depleted)
I just realised… that thumbnail is the 18 kicks vegeta scene 😂 😂 😂 well done
you got this bro, staff spinning blocks flying objects.
I just beat the last part, I have never seen such CINEMA
Swords are projectiles so block them with spinning attack.
Use the fan vessel to get rid of his shield.
He attempts to attack your Transformations to get you out of them but... if you dodge the initial attack of his animals, you stay in Transformation.
And use all your potions, drinks, buffs etc.
P.S Believe me, he's worth it. The prize is real good! ... and you'll get the true ending too once you go to the final boss.
The demon bull armor helps keeps you from dying use the plantain fan and when you break through the shield pop some attacking critical medicine to finally working down his health
how long is it take to make more black myth wukong videos
@@bretthughes1657 lol i've been using rock solid against erlang and it works effectively even against the red attack.
I use Yellow Loong against him. He can evade Erlang's anti transform atk
U can use the plantain fan to break his shield
Immobilize him after his shield breaks and start spinning ur staff on him ( this will generate Qi which will help u to use the fan again ) . Repeat this until the end
Hope this helps!!
And the attack which u are facing difficulty…
First step start spinning ur staff to deflect the small swords , when u see the red light blinking, stop spinning and focus completely on dodging. This will increase ur chances.
Zhu bajie is definitely a friend i wish I had
Yurr my boii love the vids bro you mad entertaining-_-!!
Bro I'm always so hype when you drop a wukong vid
I remember I got him to a cm of health the first try, and then it took me like 7-8 more tries to kill him.
this guy was a headache, but promised Consort Radahn triggered my anxiety
I beat Erlang and I’m 9 bro that took me 50 to 65 tries fr
0:20 “I really think i’m not gonna struggle that much”
Video title “Erlang Shen made me uninstall black myth: Wukong
The fan works on him. The cloud step charged attack works if you can time it right. If you dodge his transformation attack you can stay transformed. Yellow long works good for this. Hope this help.
Zhu Bajie and Inspector hand head have beef because the inspector was involved in Bajie getting kicked out of the celestial court.
🤣the rage at the end had me crying
You need to use the wind fan azure dust on him you need the supreme gourd with the gi gourd drink so you can use the wind fan as much as you can so you can get rid of his shield
Charge your heavy attack to lvl 3+ and hit his horn to brake the rhino horn
Wind chime deletes the deer's tornados to just breeze through it 😊
Just need enough stamina and hp for the grasshopper.
Last boss is just a straight up brawl.
For the hp, you can also just use the chapter 1 vessel to not take damage cuz its fire.
The ending is epic..😂😂😂
His third eye can see through deception/disguises, hence why he can break you out of your transformation if you're not careful! Cool mythology thing.
“Ooh ooh wassup??? This is for Wukong miiiiink!!!!….” 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Finally bro I was waiting for you to drop wukong!! I’m addicted and you better beat the damn game because I literally don’t watch other yt’s play this game because of you!! Lock in lil nga!❤😂
the one you cant dodge is pretty simple just use mobile staff spining and it would block all the swords coming to you and after that dodge once to avoid the red lightning attack and make sure you use the fan u get from ch5 to remove erlang,s poise the fan will completely remove it and he will be more vulnerable
are u going to finish this game later? looking forward to seeing your reaction to the epic boss fight after Erlang
Floverse never give up even its a hard game cuz i was thinking about my future when i beat erlang shang first try
Gotta use fan and azure dust transform to break poise
And upgrade cloud step so it lasts longer.
15:42 that sound made me laugh out aloud!! 😂😂😂
Use the staff spin my boy, the staff spin
44:11 this dude want wukong so bad it's crazy had me lol
😂😂😂
GODS I love watching people's first reaction to fighting erlang lmaoooo
It’s how the boss is meant to be approached which is why you get it right before you’re able to go fight Erlang.
you better beat him...
I like to see people fighting Erlang for the first time and then get absolutely obliterated by erlang💀💀💀
Its such a guilty pleasure
when is the next episode?
Erlang Shen is always supposed to be the most strongest character, yet you still need to strengthen your monkey
I was just waiting for the side step, lol
You can staff spin nearly any projectile. Including erlang's fly move.
If you're desperate use a stunklock build. Look it up on RUclips it's broken asf
Dude! Don't give up! You are dodging Erlang's attacks much better than I did man! And you did not use the Plaintain Fan ONCE! You totally got this if you can use the fan in at least 1 phase.
Also, you can use staff spin (stationary or mobile) to block his sword barrages. Be sure to watch out for the last attacks of the two when it begins to turn red though.
"You supposed to be the final boss, not some random... WHO IS THE FINAL BOSS" - 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Well... you will see
bro needs to finish the game please I need the part 9
