The bronze set 2 piece passive 100% works. Again, it’s not massively more damage but it’s definitely there

About the Bronze Battlerobe Set, 2pc bonus, other Chinese gamers have tested this and apparently adds fixed 30 Attk on immobilize shatter (just that 1 hit). Other bonuses and crit can probably be applied on top of this. Considering there’s not many ways u can add attk power, 30 is decent, and if u plan it to break immobilize with a high focus point heavy. The set bonus is not entirely worthless. Pls give this a retest to see if u get similar results
Serpent set might find some use in the final battle as it is done in water, but of course there are better sets to use not only in water...; Bronze set Ding break damage does work but it's PITIFUL, from what I tested I think it does maybe 20-30 extra damage which is basically worthless...;
The original concept wukong armor becomes the best armor at NG+4 because it gives the highest defense and attack if you paired it with the dark staff. Also in Ng+4 and beyond bosses due more damage so the armor comes in clutch lol.
As someone who finished the game multiple times, Here is what i feel about cloud strike vs rock solid. cloud strike is great if you like hit and run play style, gap closer, big dmg setups, defense or offense flexibility. rock solid is great if you like parry, disrupting opponents plan completely, love to dominate bosses, it may not faster(sometimes) in killing bosses but it gives much better dopamine rushes in you. The sweeping gale move has good tenacity built in to keep dmg happening and then we have churning gale which does excellent damage on all with decent range.
Bro grey tier sage set is crazy when all relics are unlocked. With dark iron staff… it has higher defense than bullking, making your weapon hit hard.. that with spellbinder is my go to.
The Yaksha pillar stance aoe attack heals based on damage, and hitting ebemies with the spikes also rewards focus. So in some circumstances it's a fully free attack.
Not sure if anyone’s mentioned that, but the Bull King set is craftable in NG, even if not fully- I just finished the secret area of chapter 5 on NG and crafted chest armor, arm and leg guards.
For the Ochre battle robe set, I think the decoys left behind by perfect dodge and cloud step are considered to be a mirage..whereas with the pluck of many spell, they are actual clones of Wukong/the Destined one himself
i would love to see how you would play a game like Tekken. I know you've mentioned you're not into fighting games, but the amount of studying you'd do really makes me curious as to what your play style would be.
Experimenting with armour and staffs I found that the Yaksha set, 4 defense curios, Dark Iron Staff, and SpellBinder is the most OP build in terms of damage
So I've maxed out the tier d and tier c shit first :D Now in NG++ and no celestial ribbon left. I'll get some from chapter 5 but wont have enough for the good stuff. Glad I had the brains for the pilgrim as well. Good video!

crashing enemy immobilization just means aiming for that little symbol and crashing that. it works great with the big headed bonk spirit cuz more cover area
Hello @syrobe Just a thought! I think you can synchronize the Gold Suozi armor effect with ability of “Spell binder” to massively increase Crit chance. Spell binder “blocks” all spells, but it with the Gold Suozi armor effect the spells are seen as “used”. I am on new game plus and with Gold Suozi, Tri point double edge spear (weapon of choice for this play through), Weavers needle, Non-Able, 2 cat eye beads (still working getting better crit chance Curios) I was able to increase my crit chance from 26% to 48%. As a man of my word, I have found the video watched the video and sent the video to my friend. If he doesn’t watch the video. He will get the bonk stick.
My trick for the Yaksha set w/ Stormflash Loong staff: Qian Ting gourd w/ 3x laurel buds + boshan censer along with wind tamer, sun crow, and moon rabbit. All that stuff together offsets the 50% penalty to DR while still offering all the extra damage. It's micro-manage-y, but I've enjoyed it.
@@MegaOverclocked Oh, I totally agree, and someone really good (like an Ongbal) could use 3x tiger relics and different trinkets and hit even harder. But I'm just a mortal man, alas.
I use the bronze armor cause i mainly use immobilize. The perk does work. HOWEVER, it seems to trigger only when my final hit is with that big head dude special move thingy. Ill hit the ennemy then the very last move before my final light attack combo move, ill trigger the head butting. Itll chunk off a piece of health that is bigger then if i do it at the start. (After that headbut, if you light attack again it finishes the light attack combi with the overhead final hit. So while the ennemi is stunned during the shattering, you get a final strong combo hit in.) Its timing. Can be finicky. I still use it since none have what i use (i dont have all armors yet.) and upgrade mats are very few.
After doing NG++ I am doing a fresh run and plan on sticking to Bronze Brocade and using evanescence as much as possible. It is high risk and fun. With that set landing evanescence means I get another immobilize immediately but I have yet to test it.
I could be wrong but I don't believe crashing immobilization is when you stagger them out of it crashing immobilization I believe refers to using a mobilization the moment they go to attack
Bronze battle robe works for bosses, idk what the increase is but once you crash the immobilization the damage numbers go up on JUST THE OPPONENT THAT WAS CRASHED
This video only confirms my suspicions that many sets bonuses are either glitchy/not working properly or are just underwhelming (not to say useless ). The translations are also a very real problem: choosing my native language Brazilian/PT makes it so hard to fully understand that I often go back to English (and many times not even that transmit the message accurately). It seems only Chinese speakers are not having a problem with the translation 😅
Thanks for this guide. Very good work. Problem is, i'm replicating the one-shot on this tiger boss as you're showing, in fact I'm actually missing one of your curios. However doing this same thing on other bosses just doesn't work. I've only tested on the giant shigindang since that's where I'm at. I'm wondering now which bosses it'll work on. Guess will have to do some testing but for anyone trying it and wondering how it's not working when you're doing everything right...that is why. I'll keep testing. Update: I just tested on the treasure hunter quest guy or as I like to call him, watermelon dude. It definitely 1shot him which iirc is a 2 phaser? Anyway....probably just going to be some bosses it just flat out won't work on.
FYI Bull King set can be got on 1st play through. Don't know how but I got it after beating the secret bosses in Chapter 5. Don't know if this was how but this was when I. saw it.
Nahh Longscale is good bro. But only works in NG+ with last upgrade of Loong staff. You have to be in shocked state and enemy have to be in shocked state too. Staff spin works. After both of you in shocked state, it deals massive thunder dmg
@@ulstuguldur8322did you not listen to the video it doesn’t buff thunder damage outside of the mirage dodge clones and doesn’t synergize with the staff lol
Loong scale armor set is strong but its biggest downside is you can’t use it if you spec into bane and shock resistance. I’ve maxed my mind cores so the position and thunder builds are useless

Thanks for that cool information on armours,it really helped
Totally agree with your tier list.
But the damage penalty is what makes it a fun suit. A nice fire under the ass gets the blood pumping.
So while the ennemi is stunned during the shattering, you get a final strong combo hit in.)
Its timing.
I beat the game with gold armor easy on my first! This set allow you to play with all spell and perform really well !
Thanks for this amazing video. Game science needs to give this guy a job. 😂
Been waiting for this list ❤
Syrobe putting in the work! Thanks for all the videos, they helped me so much in this game.
all you bro be sure to catch me on twitch for some wukong speedruns!
The Bull King Armor looks the most badass 😎
Please send this video to the devs so we can get some updates on the armors and real benefits to these
Nice list, wanted to check if Yaksha is in S tier haha. I'm in new game + chapter 6 and it made the whole replay so fun.
Subscribed. You are a true professional gamer!
Anyone else struggling with game guides in Black Myth Wukong? Immersive Translate has made it much easier for me to follow.
Nice finnaly a good tier list XD
For the poison armor set just add the regeneration with the self inflicted poison and you won't be losing health
What regeneration
Thanks! You are Mvp!
No problem be sure to catch me live on twitch! www.twitch.tv/syrobevt
He giving you 50$ and you say No problem😧
FYI Bull King set can be got on 1st play through. Don't know how but I got it after beating the secret bosses in Chapter 5. Don't know if this was how but this was when I. saw it.
Literally just upgraded my full loongscale set yesterday. Lovely. Wish this video came out yesterday smh.
@@ulstuguldur8322 i literally showed you thats not true 4:15
Loong scale armor set is strong but its biggest downside is you can’t use it if you spec into bane and shock resistance. I’ve maxed my mind cores so the position and thunder builds are useless
After watching this video I am now crying because I
1. did not upgrade my armor in my playthrough
2. did not upgrade my flask
3. did not upgrade my drinks
4. used the yashakas rage armor set unknowingly for like half the game
pilgrim is best for me. defeated erlang and broken vessel with it. you can easily avoid projectiles from bosses by running fast with the pilgrim set!
Bro you are a s tier YT
Clearly, you now need to do a tier list for standalone armors
Serpentscale chest armor is worth it it saved me when I was fighting out of health outside water 😂I was dying and reviving me to half health every time. Super worth it to me 😂
Have you tried the Effect Detail Description mod in nexus which shows exact effect values?
For example, perfect dodge gives you 40 focus. The Gale suit gives you 15 more and the talent give you 20 more focus upon perfect dodge.
And 1-4 focus level requires 100/210/330/480 focus each. All written in the mod.
Venomous sting armor may suck, but it is sick as hell!
