Dear @Accepting the Universe, Thank you for being 'one' with the animals and for demonstrating that they are indeed our greatest teachers (and even, in between multiple filming and editing takes - they are even evidently there to teach us.....patience)! Your ongoing ethical treatment towards animals is so appreciated; your wise delivery, so valuable to us viewers. Thank you also, for providing the link to Holyland Donkey Haven and for introducing us to this wonderfully important sanctuary. Learning of them, I can now gladly contribute to their cause. And we cannot forget.... Hugs...for the fabulous pooches: Leyla & Mishka. Anima*l Cheers
Thank you for your kind words. So long as there are people like you, I am confident that both these animals, as well as the ideas shared here, will be well taken care of. Thank you!
Haha I love the content and the way it's communicated - this video with animals makes it even better, I'm glad I found it. Can't stop laughing tho seeing Disney Prince caught on and is on every video now 😂its damn funny when we touch on delicate and major life and moral issues and there's this All the best
I am from Myanmar (Burma), with the longest civil war in human history, generational dictators, and ongoing revolutions with many armed tribes. And my personal life is even worse than my country; so it allows me to understand Kafka, Edgar Allan Poe, Dostoevsky, Charles Bukowski, and tragical writers. For me, Life is to live. The more you live the more life excites you. Be cautious, and meditative.
Thanks for your brief heartfelt sharing. I travelled to Burma around 8 years ago, just before the military overthrew Aung San Suu Kyi. The trip magically and beautifully shifted my view toward life. I was overwhelmed by the genuine heart of Burmese people. I was host from a Couchsufing member and got huge support from people along the trip from Yangon to Mandalay. I was treated like a family member from an old couple, who I met on the flight from Thai Lan to Yangon. So far the trip to Burma still stayed a special place in my heart. The last day on the way back to the airport, I shared a taxi with another traveller from Europe,we both agreed on 1 thing "the Burmese people has the kindness from a genuine heart, not from an educated head". We said that, it doesn't mean that education is less mighty, we just want to emphasize a genuine heart is special. ❤️ I'm sorry for all the chaos and suffering that the country has to undergo so far. And so did your personal life. The whole universe is spinning. And everything takes time. Suffering can be suffocating, and it may feel like hell on earth. But please, keep the light in your heart. In the darkest of the dark, we never forget the reason why we are here: to learn how to love, to practice love and being loved. We feel the suffering of our comrade, we feel the suffering of our own. And we let them go and find the unshakable peace in our heart. We are peace. And you are peace. ❤
I'm currently at a very low point mentally and I want to tell you all to keep on going. The resilience and beauty of those donkeys shows us that there is much more to simple life and joy of the moment. I hope the dark night will pass and dawn will shine upon my face again. Sending all of you my love.
Yah. It's really sad that everyone doesn't know what we know. Even bugs do. I am a gardener, I watch bugs closely and daily. To me, it's been clear since childhood, despite my having been taught that they are commodities and have no feelings. There was a clear demarcation, however, the day I saw God in the eyes or a horse. There was no doubt in my heart that they are direct representatives and Creator watches us through them also. This is why they are so strong. Humans could benefit from being less arrogant and full of pride.
this is why I believe that spirituality and science and even philosophies at their deepest core are the same, more and more people are waking up to the ideas that Kindness, honesty, loving and so on are what we are here for on earth to practice , learn and grow. The subjects are here to our choice. 💖 GREAT vid
One of the most beautiful things we see these animals practice so well, despite all else is forgiveness. I have rescued and fostered some abused cats in the past, whose ability to develop trust again in humans is absolutely uplifting, shocking and heartbreaking in the most beautiful ways. Forgiveness is too often an unappreciated, incredible super-power.
It is thanks to you and your weekly videos that has me thinking so differently about life, how simple, happy and rewarding one can live with so little. Thank you for this delightful video with the donkeys. Will be sure to send a donation 🫏💕
My favorite is the one that wanted to eat your sweater 😂❤ I love all the sweet donkeys, they made my whole day. And profound words as always, thank you
Maybe animals give loving-kindness and friendship so easily because they’re enlightened beings, not ignorant beings. Thank you for this surprise. Wasn’t expecting four-legged philosophers. It reminds me of when my aunt found two abandoned horses starving to death near her home. They had been left on a dirt road and had probably been starving long before they were abandoned. But they trusted my aunt and allowed her to help them. No bitterness, no hostility, no anger or victimhood. They only gave kindness and seemed to expect it in return. No grudges. They ended up living long lives, fat and happy, with a retired couple who adopted them after my aunt and father nursed them back to health. I hadn’t thought about those horses in a long time. My aunt named them Hope and Courage.
Simply Be. You do and always have held the key to your happiness in the current moment, it is not something that can be given or taught. It is within You ✌️ ❤
I have a puppy for 10 months now and many lessons I learnt in books have now a meaning. I learnt to be in the present moment, not to stick to negative feelings, to forgive and love again and again and again. Darkness can always be exposed by love and transformed by love. My love is tough still an amateur next to my puppy's inconditional love. There is this beautiful quote from Gandhi: "The greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way its animals are treated." Another great video :) thanks
So glad I found your channel. It's like having a conversation; though it's one-sided in nature, there's still some fascinating invisible connection that we can carry and grow in ourselves and then share our thoughts and feelings with the others. That's how it carries through time and space; that's the beautiful fundamental nature of humanity.
I love donkey's!❤ and i'm 43 year old women who had 6 miscarriages. And a beautiful son now. Allmost died twice. Animals learn me a lot and gives zo much love❤. Don't ever loose hope.
Absolutely inspired to use the donkeys' virtues to teach us humans!!! Another amazing video 🎉 you can teach so much in such accessible way! Well done philosophy man! 😊from Scotland.

I perceived that this also is but a striving after wind." For in much wisdom is much vexation, and he who increases knowledge increases sorrow."
I wouldn’t be able to be so articulate and serious around donkeys 😅 great video I would love to volunteer in such place but in Italy to get immersed in the local life while doing good 😊
I loooooove this video!!!!! Thank you for this!!!! Love the donkeys and the fact that they are being taken care of!!!! And thank you for making them an example of resilience. Animals have a high intuitive sense and ability. It’s a beautiful thing. ❤❤❤❤
This was such a wonderful video to watch. Thank you for introducing us to more of your four legged friends. I appreciate and value everything you bring us, about as much as those donkeys love you 😁♥
I deeply want to thank you and express my immense gratitude, not only for this video, but for all the other videos you’ve posted on this channel. I aspire to be someone as wise and ethical as you, and to be that person in others lives, inspiring them the way you inspire me. Again, thank you so much for these videos. I wish you nothing but the best in life.
Hahhaha i haven't finished watching it but wanna comment right now that it gives me immense joy watching animals being so comfortable around people. & i am so happy to know that there are people like you & your wife who love animals..rescued them..care for them.. i just wish all the people around the world become sensitive to environment..mother nature..animals.. only then they may become sensitive towards one another. It's really important now to save our world. Thanks for this video.. gonna watch it 😊 What about Laila? How's she? & i forgot the new one's name!
Aw! Such a sad but beautiful and heartwarming video. I love how you love these animals and how they love you back . All animals need our love and kindness. I wish there were more people like you and these people caring for these donkeys. ❤
I need to visit the donkeys they would make me feel better every time I get around animals they show me love.A few years back I was practicing stoicism without knowing about the word or the greats from history. My education went only to the sixth grade and from there on was taught by my peers that were what I would like to be fair in saying learning or just living in life themselves.I got this idea in my head to do the opposite of everyone and since I could feel a deep empathy for others I decided to go with peace love and fairness.I was homeless and feel I was tested so tremendously throughout this process.I was just poking around in RUclips when I came across this picture of a very strong spirited statue and read the words how to be stoic so I pressed play and discovered there were these ancient ways of thinking that I was already practicing.Unfortantly I've been loosing my direction and have become less and less pulled to feel I can accomplish this. I don't know what my problem is but I'm tired and I'm hoping for the shared knowledge of others to bring me to an epiphany.God bless and thank you I really enjoy the knowledge you share it helps tremendously 😇😁🙏
I follow the rescue and been donating to them. Everyone’s should protect ALL animals as our life depends on it. They need it. Amazing message! Only if people were like all of us here. The world would be a paradise. You know… people say when they die, they want to go to paradise. But they are in paradise and humans chose to destroy it. You give me hope as a highly empathetic person who loves animals and nature more than anything. More than myself.
I love this video. You are such a beautiful soul. I do think though that we underestimate animals all the time. I am blessed to have horses and they do some pretty rational things all the time. I guess they don’t have metacognition but wow that’s what gets humans in trouble a lot. Thank you for your beautiful videos ❤

As a next step to this video, it would be great to introduce some ideas on taking action on desire of wanting to live a meaningful life and get over disparities that many of us have gone through but don't want to be defined by those experiences and try to embark on a physically and mentally healthy existence once again.
Animals instinctively navigate adversity, while humans' rationality drives us to seek meaning and control over suffering. However, our pain often stems from the illusion of agency over past and future events. Self-awareness, both empowering and crippling, sets us apart. It was the reason I was born.. to stumble on this human and video. That's the meaning of my entire life right now 😊
It looks like a childhood memory

Oh, they know.
Thank you dear brother. I realized I have been an ass my whole life. And that’s a good thing. ❤😂🙏🏾

Animals absolutely have souls and personalities just as humans do and no one can convince me otherwise.
I think a lot of humans don’t even have as much feelings as animals do.

@@Djellowman i think this video made me christian.
agree, anyone who just views them as "just animals" is really missing out on the beauty and the learning they offer to us.
this is the cutest thing ever. i had no idea donkeys were chill like that. they just stand there... (extremely) close to you lol
