  • We all have that problem with our cowlick sticking up. This is the best way I found to help it lay down.

Your intro is so FIRE!!! Keep it up looking forward to more haircut video. I like how a lot of your focus (I don’t think it’s on purpose) is on straight Asian hair. I’m Cambodian and a lot of my client have straight hair.

My advice: if you want a slick back, but you have a cowlick, leave the hair long all around your cowlick. That will cover it up. Come other hair slightly over it, too. The best products to hold it in place and to keep the cowlick from splitting your hair into two halves are Murray’s Pomade, or hair glue combined with extra strong hold hairspray. Water based pomades and gels simply will not be as strong. No joke wear a hairnet when you’re alone and/or in bed at night. I struggled for a long time with a slicked back undercut until I figured out exactly what to do. The secret to Murray’s is applying it properly. That’s a whole other set of steps.

How to work with low fades which aren't skin or bald level...i.e. I usually like to keep the sides at about a 2 or 1.5 (Wahl guides)...how should I come in to that fade from the sideburns or the nape of the neck? How do I make it fade into the rest of the head which is usually a 4 higher up above the occipital bone and longer hair, typically like a gentlemans cut or combover on top
