I worked with guide dogs in a large organization. Since that organization only feeds kibble, their fecal transplants did not work. I saw it first hand more than once. Provable is a huge problem, there too. For me, the frustration seeing this over and over ended. Not only do we feed raw, but Colostrum and Mt. Capra. We rotate Adored Beast a few times per year as well. Excellent video!
Thanks for sharing your experience. We also love to learn what is working for pet parents. Thanks for watching and being an advocate for your animals. We also have a free webinar coming up soon on Gut Health. Here are the details. Monday July 24th at 4pm MST thenaturalpetdoctor.mykajabi.com/gut-health-webinar Hope to see you there!
Thank you so much for these. That is actually what my Vet prescribed for Giardia in my puppy - use FortiFlora plus the Metronidazole for 10 days at the same time so the probiotic "replenishes" what the antibiotic kills. Super disappointed for multiple reasons at this point. I have started looking a different vet but I wouldn't know how to do better if I couldn't learn from vets like you and Dr Judy Morgan, Dr Zac, Dr Ruth Roberts. Rachel Fusaro is how I'm learning about all of you vets who live in the nuance I've stopped Simpatico Trio [read Dr Dodds report]. When discussed with the vet they dug their feet in the ground that its a great drug and they would only be careful if a dog already had epilepsy. She eats raw or gently cooked responsibly sourced foods. I think her food is honestly safer than mine as some companies pathogen test their batches before shipping I told the current vet I was not comfortable getting another Bordetella or Lepto shot [mainly because I just didn't have the Thuja I ordered yet but now that I've learned many of these vaccines contain traces of mercury/formadelyhyde as well as live/dead pathogens...it's just not work I want her immune system to have to do. I'd rather not use daycare or find a new one. Lepto I still have to figure out bc I do live in wet place with some wildlife so the incidence maps seems to show more than I'm comfortable with. But I also know [bc of you guys!] there's only 4 strains in the vaccine and many strains in the wild so it can help but there's a chance she would still get it and also longevity is questionable] Long long way to just say...thank you for everything you do and share. If I move to CO, lol I totally want you to be our vet.

My dogs are 14 and 15. They have eaten a raw homemade diet for 13 years. Both have healthy guts and zero health issues and I have never given them probiotics. I think the diet is key.
This spring, I was recommended Fortiflora by the vet after my cat was operated on for urinary stones. It didn't help one bit. Shortly afterwards I found The natural Pet doctor on RUclips (thank goodness for that) and ordered Bark & Whiskers Complete probiotics and found it helped along with enzymes to calm my cat's stomach (unfortunately she was put on antibiotics and that was the last time she got it ). Now I'm trying to learn to feed her a balanced raw food which is difficult but yes, it's getting a little better every day😊
Hi, Thanks for watching and sharing your experience. I'm sorry to hear your cat has these health concerns. You may be interested in an upcoming webinar on improving gut health. Im using Jackson Galaxy complete cat probiotics with prebiotics and enzymes for over two months now. One kitten just started getting loose stools, 3 days. Drinking water and had not lost appetite. I had added pumpkin and just tried camomile tea. He's 7 months old, has hip dysplasia on a raw diet. Just got new kitten almost 3 weeks ago, so I hope this is due to change of dynamic in the household. Other kittens doing great. I just ordered Adored beasts , planning to change probiotics after little break.
Thanks for taking the time to watch. We actually did a talk yesterday on diarrhea that you may find helpful. Here's the link to that video to check out: ruclips.net/user/livek1u9sToTNZU?si=dM8rszvVeHJdQjPP
Thank you so much. What do think about probiotics and constipation? 14 years old cat with acid reflux at night and light renal weakness. I learn so many things for myself by diving into my cat’s health 😜🤩💝🙏
Please do share the company’s products you use, Dr. Woodley! I use Adored Beast Feline Gut Soothe and Ion Gut Support, so would you recommend them, as well? I look forward to your reply! Thank you. 😊
I haven't found a probiotic that doesn't flare my dog up or cause pancreatitis. Fidos Flora gave my dog e. coli and ended up with a uti, Nom Nom would make her teeth grind, Visbiome has trace dairy which is a big no for her, others would just make things worse. Some would give her weird neurological issues. Leaky gut testing says she doesn't have it, but Animal Biomes test shows there is some dysbiosis. Their pills make her drop weight way to quickly. I know some strains can be high in histamine so I always questioned if that's why there's issues.
I was using Adored Beast Pre/Probiotic and it did well but I think my yorkies are allergic to it. So I just ordered Four Leaf healthy gut. Hopefully this will work.

Diet is a huge foundation among other things like physical health, emotional health and healthy detox pathways!
Thank you, Dr. Katie! I appreciate the knowledge and education.
You are so welcome! Thanks for watching.

Thank you for this video. I'm currently rotating between Adored Beast and Four Leaf Rover, hopefully they're brands you highly recommend.
We’re using pet ultimates probiotics for our dogs.

I’m using Visbome for my dogs.😊
They're a great brand!
I haven't found a probiotic that doesn't flare my dog up or cause pancreatitis. Fidos Flora gave my dog e. coli and ended up with a uti, Nom Nom would make her teeth grind, Visbiome has trace dairy which is a big no for her, others would just make things worse. Both my dogs have guardia I don’t want to give them what the vet prescribed. Is visbome helping with that and how much should I give them daily?😊
How do you feel about barks &whiskers complete probiotics?
Great product - that brand is one that I suggest. Here are others too if interested: www.amazon.com/shop/thenaturalpetdoctor
