Pet food for a 4 year old toy poodle who’s suffering from “allergies” I’ve been to 2 vets now w so much medication, drops, oils and I’ve done an elimination diet. Now he has what looks like red yeast…Feel so bad for him.
I have transitioned my 7 month old Westie to Raw meats (minced beef, turkey, chicken in rotation of approximately every 4 to five days. Also I have added Dr. Harvey’s Raw Vibrance as well as Dr. Harvey’s Health and Shine - salmon and krill oil. Sometimes his stool is loose and I’m wondering what would be causing it.

I would hesitate to do it since it changes their natural anatomy and I've seen a lot of pets afterwards have GI issues. If you're feeding a minimally processed diet that is species-appropriate, then the risk decreases significantly.
@@thenaturalpetdoctor Thank you! Well Dagnabit my GSD is just turning 7 and was a top breeding and shultzhund dog and retired to me 2.5 months ago. Part of the agreement to take her was spay and gastroplexy, that I pay and have it done at the vet's where she actually works part time. The breeder is hard core on gastroplexy has seen many bloat even on raw diet. I come from a naturopathic education and background and I didn't really want to do it.....but I succumbed to it. It was a tough 2 weeks of recovery for us with 2 incisions and a damn cone. I'm following you now and listening to your videos. Was feeding her Ollie, but I'm going to switch to Open Farm. Thanks again!
@@PuddleJumperPam that's ok - she'll probably be just fine. We all have different experiences too. It sounds like she's in great hands with you for supporting her health, and I'm grateful to have you here and being a part of this holistic movement!❤

@@thenaturalpetdoctor :thanks for the recommendation. do you know any brands or food that is hypoallergenic? as per his vet, he needs hypoallergenic food for his skin issues.
Most dogs I've seen with chronic illness have been over vaccinated and over medicated, fed highly processed diets and in most cases have no hormones. This is why you're pets are sick. Check out Dr Andrew Jones and Dr Karen Becker and dogs naturally magazine online.
@@thenaturalpetdoctor omg, I’m sure I sent a reply yesterday, but now I don’t see it, so I’ll try again. I’m sorry. My dog struggles with often recurring ear infections and sporadic paw infections. Allergy tested negative on everything. Different food trials haven’t brought any significant changes. He’s prescribed “medrol” (methylprednisolone) which I give him for a couple of days if the infections get too bad, which happens 2-3 times a year. Other wise I clean the ears with anti yeast ear cleanser, and always clean and dry the paws and when paws are infected I use an antibacterial mousse (called “Duoxo S3 Pyo”). He also has behavioral issues, but not sure if that’s relevant to you, and don’t wanna spam you with irrelevant info. Please let me know if I need to elaborate on anything. Would be grateful for any kind of help as I’ve spent every last penny I’ve got on having him tested and trying out different diets etc.
