      "Not to my knowledge" it i's not an unreasonable response. I always say that when a doctor asks me about allergies. You may know a person but not by their name, so definitely a reasonable response. I am not saying that he is telling the truth though.

      This is what all lawyers instruct clients to say because it leaves room for plausible deniability and doesn’t lock them into a firm statement. It’s a smart move even for innocent people because it’s hard to twist a person’s words when saying to the best of my knowledge or not that I recall.

    I've never been a fan of Piers Morgan, but this helped me understand what a skilled interviewer can accomplish. He just earned my respect for sure.

      If I recall correctly he was convicted of 12 and tried for 14 from 1977 to 1993. Really makes me question how many other victims he has

    Lorenzo’s imminent denial and extreme defensiveness almost had me for a second there, but he gave himself away when he kept cowardly threatening to walk out. Typical narcissistic gaslighting behaviour. A truly innocent man would cherish this opportunity to profess his innocence and use the interview to challenge the evidence against him. Quite frankly, an innocent man would have to be drug out of that interview while he begs for a retrial.

    I once did a one to one observation of a prisoner who happened to have been a serial killer. He was aggressive with the male correctional officers and doctors but was calm, polite, and charming to female staff. It was the creepiest thing ever. However, it made me understand how he was able to lure his victims.

    Knowing that his sister was selling herself on the streets really affected him, he feels a sense of disgust for street workers, and felt they had to be punished. He’s unable to rationalize how his fluids got on their bodies. He’s in major denial and still think he’s innocent. Sad little man.

But under 1994-‘24 live court coverage, it doesn’t work if you can answer questions from your defense attorney just fine, thanks, but “can’t remember” anything much under cross-exam, or as in this interview, whenever an answer or topic isn’t flattering & favorable. In those cases, socially & behaviorally, it is worse. Much worse. 🌱
