It is statistically proven. Lastly, I will say that I do not want to hear anything about mental illness, playing a part in taking a life and evil actions. That is a slap in the face to those who suffered.
Actually, no, I am going to talk about mental illness playing a part to prevent future slaps in the face because if people don't address what makes people into monsters then monsters will keep showing up. Just as those foolish social workers swept under the rug this child's symptoms when they should have been addressed ten times over, you can't sweep mental illness under the rug. Mental illness doesn't excuse any of it, nor is it a complete explanation. Plenty of people have mental illness and don't commit atrocities. Plenty of people are in bad households and don't commit atrocities. It's a complicated thing, but it does play a part.
Abuse is no excuse for becoming an abuser. My belief is that personality disorders are behind psychopaths..maybe abuse is a trigger that enables abusive behavior..

I gave you a thumb down due to the fact that you completely ignore human physiology and instead chose a benign belief in superstition ie evil. There will only ever be Human Physiology to correctly explain all human behaviour. Please carefully read and seriously consider my comment above, thanks!
The detective work was good. These cases were challenging. It's goo that before the gentleman died, he turned the two in. He helped get them arrested and sentenced. I'm really appreciate the human voice-over rather than AI.
He was born evil . . Saying he turned out like this because of his up bringing is an excuse for his torrid behaviour . . I've known men who had a much tougher time growing up and have turned into mature responsible adults
Not necessarily. My mother abused all 6 of her children. Mentally and physically. There is an age gap of eight years between the oldest four and my brother Joe and me. Five of us went into the foster care system. My oldest sister is permanently messed up even though she is in her seventies. She was arrested for assaulting a police officer a couple of years ago.not her first offense. My second youngest sister is perfectly normal And leads a normal Same for my two oldest brothers . My youngest brother was an alcoholic at 12. Lucky for him he met his future wife while he was in the hospital ward for alcoholics. She was six years older and a nurse. She helped him get sober. They were married when he was eighteen. And he is still sober and married over forty five years later. I was only a year younger than him and had a lot I counseling as a teenager because of my anger issues. And I got in a lot of trouble as a teenager. Ended up pregnant at fifteen. I finally went into a stable foster home along with my son. And have stayed out of trouble. So even though we are genetically related and had that same early childhood upbringing in that same house ,we were all different in how it affected us. It's not an excuse ,it's just an explanation.
@jamesbond7425 "He was born evil . . Saying he turned out like this because of his up bringing is an excuse for his torrid behaviour . . I've known men who had a much tougher time growing up and have turned into mature responsible adults." "He was born evil . ." False because no one is "born evil" although it might seem like certain people are because of their surly demeanor during the entire birthing process. But no one is "born evil". Nor is anyone "born good" for that matter. But everyone is born innocent which, contrary to mistaken popular belief is not synonymous with good. It just is what it is. Behavior is purely taught. How we deal with it in every microsecond of our lives - whether in a positive way or in a negative way - is ultimately going to determine what we are going to be like in every microsecond of our lives as it is a constant process of one step at a time as to how and why we react/respond to anything in our lives, not that we are born one way or the other but what and how we are taught to react/respond to anything and how and why we adjust our reactions/responses to anything we encounter. So if we decide from a very young age how and why we are going to react/respond to anything we encounter and try our best to stay consistent and constant with whatever reactions/responses we choose to react/respond with to anything we encounter in our lives, then so much the better for us because consistency and constancy are admirable traits in anyone because that makes them easy to figure out how and why they will react/respond to anything they encounter in their lives but also be reliable/dependable in what those reactions/responses are going to be. However, since only one mortal being has ever been perfect and the rest of us imperfect, even the person (no matter who it is) that seems to be always consistent and constant in their reactions/responses to anything they encounter in their lives can break in some way, shape or form and degree from their consistent and constant reactions/responses to anything they encounter in their lives whether their reactions/responses were right or wrong. And all of this includes everyone who dithers and dathers e.g. me. And so it is with all of those men you know. Mis/behavior is taught and learned in some way, shape or form and degree; no one is born with it, period no matter what anyone says to the contrary. Facts, period! But I am curious...why did you say "he was born evil"? Thanks. "Saying he turned out like this because of his up bringing is an excuse for his torrid behaviour . ." What? You are joking, right? Again, simply and absolutely no one is born with behavior nor misbehavior but rather taught and learned them but what they do with the behavior or misbehavior is totally up to them when they become of age. Then from that point on, their teachers can't be rightly blamed for their pupils own individual behavior and misbehavior provided the pupils learned well enough from their teachers which is not a reflection so much on the teacher's teaching style but rather the pupils learning style which includes paying attention, understanding, comprehension and application of the principles taught and learned. Whether people stay consistent and constant in their reactions/responses or alter/change them has purely to do with choice, not being born to behave or misbehave. It is an inducted nature and nurturing thing, not an inborn nature thing, period. "I've known men who had a much tougher time growing up and have turned into mature responsible adults." Again, it was, is and always will be in how and why they choose to conduct themselves at any given time or moment. They are not born with it, period. Make any sense now? Take care.

He sat in jail for eight months, being accused of being the baseline killer Meanwhile, the baseline killer was still out there only he waited a few months, so the detectives thought they got the right guy Yes, they did settle with the innocent man, but they gave him pennies, considering he spent eight months in jail while his wife and two children were living in poverty The innocent man was a very hard worker that in itself was such a crime, and I can’t believe the Phoenix police department aren’t mentioning how they arrested the wrong man

Horrific evil. May the victims and animals rest peacefully.
The music is very distracting.
The music distracts from the video 6:45
I hate the music in the background ruins the program
Got lots of Respect for Ron
The sound effects and music are distracting.
I can not spend more time with this than a few minutes.
I wanted to watch but that music is doing my head in..
Hurting mine 2
😂 same
I met Mark Goudeau, the Baseline Killer, one time. His sister and my GF were coworkers and friends. She still swears the cops put on blackface and set him up.
Thanks for another informative true crime doco TCC.
Just one small complaint, any chance of turning up the volume of the background music, I can barely hear it!
Can you turn the music up?I can't hear it over them talking.
I've gone deaf.... that music 🎶 🎵
Looked up name, 2 2 minutes ..got the horrible story.. hope he still burning in 🔥.. RIP🙏 beautiful ladies 🙏
I couldn’t enjoy the music because of background chatter.
👍😂
😂😂
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Was the music _that_ bad?
It's a bit louder than most videos but it's not completely overplaying the words. With subtitles on, it's totally fine. And the substitutes aren't even necessary for most.
What??😂
Dude has that Miami Vice vibe. If I was going to be interviewed, I would hit up a woman to give me some advice on style & fashion before wearing an aqua blue v-neck & cream/yellow blazer. 😂
I like the music. Makes it more intense. 😁
I lived in Jewett City/Griswold. This case is a sad stain on a simple, rural, eastern CT town.

They always look like the guy/gal from next door unfortunately they don’t wear a sign that says pure evil 👿
His EYES suggest a malevolent intent
I gave you a thumb down due to the fact that you completely ignore human physiology and instead chose a benign belief in superstition ie evil. There will only ever be Human Physiology to correctly explain all human behaviour.
Please carefully read and seriously consider my comment above, thanks!
evil is a religious word
@@beaulieuc8910 Yup, and all evil will be punished in due time...
the music is fine. i can hear everything they're saying
No
It. Isn't
The guy at the beginning of a video must be a Miami Vice fan.
Tee hee 😅aqua tee shirt with straw colored blazer … 😅gave c it away 😅
The jacket isn’t banana yellow with shoulder pads, though….😂🤷🏻♀️
Get rid of the music. It’s overpowering!
Agreed
You do it
I'm hard of hearing and I can't agree more. The music muddles out the voices for me.
It may open my third eye soon!😂
Earrapee
On my iPhone the background music sounds normal
Mine also
I’m on my iPad and it’s so loud I can’t finish this episode
same , bm sounds normal
Same. Lol! & i'm on PC. I can hear the people just fine & the BG music is normal.
I really want to watch this, but the awful music and artificial voice. Why not read the words instead of using a robot? Really wanted to watch this
Ron is a Hero! Greatfull, they added his Sisters in the movie. Rest in Peace, great Guy! ♥
I can’t hear over the dang “music”
The detective work was good. These cases were challenging. It's goo that before the gentleman died, he turned the two in. He helped get them arrested and sentenced. I'm really appreciate the human voice-over rather than AI.
Never trust anyone who has 3 first names.
I am here first time hearing about this case ill listen to it thank you.
@@thaismatsumoto plus, no one is born evil.

"He was born evil . ."
False because no one is "born evil" although it might seem like certain people are because of their surly demeanor during the entire birthing process. Thanks.
"Saying he turned out like this because of his up bringing is an excuse for his torrid behaviour . ."
What?
"I've known men who had a much tougher time growing up and have turned into mature responsible adults."
Again, it was, is and always will be in how and why they choose to conduct themselves at any given time or moment. They are not born with it, period. Make any sense now? Take care.
@@jonathanray7931 Don't lecture me . . . period

The Phoenix Police Department should be ashamed of their selves for bragging about catching the baseline killer after what they did to an innocent man and his family 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️
Yep
This guy is very proud of himself. He definitely thinks he’s brave.
Why ppl here are complaining about the music il NEVER NO!! Its not an issue to me. Maybe. these ppl like to complain on a regular basis. Be glad to be alive watching this dudes!!

They need to k kw that so if possible it can be altered
Turned down volume to 2 and strained a bit to hear the CD narration. 😅

The Phoenix Police department is not mentioning. They arrested the wrong man, and charged him with all the murders.
He sat in jail for eight months, being accused of being the baseline killer
Meanwhile, the baseline killer was still out there only he waited a few months, so the detectives thought they got the right guy
Yes, they did settle with the innocent man, but they gave him pennies, considering he spent eight months in jail while his wife and two children were living in poverty
The innocent man was a very hard worker that in itself was such a crime, and I can’t believe the Phoenix police department aren’t mentioning how they arrested the wrong man
Police seldom mention whenever they F up.
