Looks incredible. I am fascinated by the potential of 2mm for portraying mass battles at practically 1:1, but have never liked the minis enough. These are amazing though.
@@Aaronfromprojectwargaming I am completely new to 3 d printing. If you have a 28 mm template to print, are there settings to scale it down to 15 or 10mm in most 3d printers or would you need a seperate 10-15mm template? I thought it would be really cool to print space marines for 40k in 10-15mm scale. Thanks.
@@bringer-25 you can usually scale down files in the slicer program. There are some coversionn charts out there that show you what percentage need to scale up or down to get your desired size.
Those appear to b the best 2nm figures I’ve seen to date. Your original pikes men appear to have pikes over 5 body lengths. Pikes rarely approach 4 body lengths as they wold get to unwieldy
Being a big fan of 2mm Irregular and some other 3mm guys like Oddzial and Microworld, people are intimidated by the scale and painting but needn’t be, it can be kind of freeing and if you’ve got good brush control it’s still of some use. Can I petition you for some generic good and evil fantasy? Like a block of skeletons and a block of wolf riders... elf bow chariots and dwarf shield wall? Your Romans are intense!
@@Aaronfromprojectwargaming I can’t complain, you are growing the scale. It’s really very underrated. I had my doubts until the pike blocks started showing up!
Very nice indeed! I started modelling some several months ago. Got some cavalry, elephants and some early republican roman infantry and pikemen done already, and the results are quite nice. If you are interested I can tell you more.
Next 1 atom models :P they are quite small matey .... is scale foot to eye? i been doing feet to head with no headgear :( god dam it i have to rescale the tank crew i designed and printed last night for 1/200mm :( i thought 9.7mm was small but this is insane , the mars is a great printer isnt it .
Wow, most impressive and clever job on the pikemen... 👍👍

very cool - I look forward to seeing them on the tabletop
Great share, and great work as always man. :D
I didn't think you could get it down to 2mm.
Nicely done.
Its surprising. Better printer and good mix of resin helps.
@@Aaronfromprojectwargaming Which Resin did you use that is flexible?
@@rayk1509 sirah tech tenacious about 25% mixed with standard resin

Thanks. Correct on the pike length. In my latest video you can see the updated version. Plus they print bettet.

Thanks I appreciate it. I doubt I will get to any fantasy stuff soon as I'm trying to fill out the historical range at the moment.

Is it necessary to use a 4k printer for these models?
No but of course you will lose detail. I would've recommend using an fdm. I've seen guys do it but pretty rough.
@@Aaronfromprojectwargaming Thanks for the reply - I am looking at the Mars3 resin printer for this.

They look fantastic. Well done. BUT, please put the centurion on the right, not the middle :D
Ah. I looked for proper placement but couldn't find it. Thanks
