I've seen 2mm figures before but they had nothing like the details you are managing to get here. Just astounding - your units give the impression of mass effect but also have a good amount of detail. I did wonder how easy they were to paint, particularly when they are printed as a massed phalanx or whatever (rather than individual strips).
@@Aaronfromprojectwargaming I'm just starting my own 2mm ancients project (for Strength & Honour) and will be buying some of these Phalanx figures. I'd love to know how you painted them as they have come out very nicely.
Hiya bud, any tips for painting these? Specifically looking at the pics on your site of the Phalanxes with all the helmets seemingly painted in between the pikes!
It's been a year since I bought a printer but to get you setup for resin printing you need a printer and a cure and wash all together you should be able to going for around 500usd
I have been looking at wargaming in a small scale and have stuck at 6mm because of the detail. But these figures are very good. Better sized units with recognisable detail. I will watch the other vids with interest.
@@Aaronfromprojectwargaming I am looking for a similar approach for ACW and Napoleonic figures, where formed bodies are in use. Once warfare changes to dispersed formations it is far less practical.
WW2 is bad enough at 6mm! Can never find the tanks again in the terrain. Can’t imagine what 2/3mm would be like. Lol. Personally, I’d not go smaller than about 10/12mm with a preference for 15mm or larger.
Phantastic detail for that size and a very convincing mass effect! Makes me get out my old Peter Connolly books...
These look great! Always been a 2mm fan.
These look fantastic!
Looking good.
Excellent, stunning and realistic mass effect...Truly impressive!
These look amazing! Bravo!
Les phalanges sont fantastiques, bravo
Gotta admit I'm blown away at the detail you're getting.
yeah, the Eleggo Mars 2 Pro is nice. Plus I am learning how to model better so that helps.
Oh my gosh, this is awesome.... I'm kinda blown away - once I get my 3d printer set up I'll buy your files!
Really cool
Amazing results

I plan to do some painting videos with these guys. It's a more impressionistic style of painting

@@glorfindel777 I think I have video on painting some 2mm. But not sure if I have one on the phalanx.
Do you sell the physical product too? Thank you! Great details by the way, probably the best out there.
I do not.
WOW - just WOW
Why wont you do more videos on 2mm??

I typically work body up on the pikes. Paints the body, then the helmets, then the pikes, then a heavey dark brown wash.
I love 2mm, but thinking about trying to paint them makes me cry.
Painting 2mm is pretty fast and easy but it does take time.
What kind of money do I need to spend on a printer to get decent results for these kinds of models, please?

Thanks. I think for ancients and medieval this is now my favorite scale

The Elegoo Mars has 10 products in that line. Which one do you use?
This video is 2 years old. I would recommend doing dsome research on the newer models.
Perfect! Post more 2/3mm please (ww2?)

So, Aaron, are you putting these on 80x40mm bases rather than 60x120mm bases?
I am. However you can of course base them however you choose
Cavalry not calvary. Cavalry are soldiers on horses. Calvary is where Jesus was crucified. Great work.
Yeah I know. Its my Hoosier dialect coming out.
Also, hopper-lights? 💡
Lol.
