Sauce is proving he was by far the best corner in his draft class and only Tariq Woolen could truly be his competition for DROY. His confidence is something only the Hall of Fame corners have had like Deion Sanders, but he's been more than able to prove it this season. Also, him wearing the Cheese Head walking off Lambeau Field after beating the Packers is why you have to love the guy.

I think Jets were the better situation overall. Their front 4 along with Quinnen's growth as a premiere game breaker talent makes it easier for Sauce to do work. Lions D-line needed more talent overall to make opponents pass against them so their secondary can do work.

Sauce has been great, did not expect him to have such an impact right away. He does get away with a lot of holding calls in my opinion but still locking people down.
I wanted my lions to get him in the draft as well as Kenneth Walker and Tariq Woolen. Our secondary would be set rn and our rushing attack would be even better. We would have just needed to draft Will Anderson in this draft and we would have a pretty good defense.

@@Just_Lionz I’m not saying he is a slot specialist. But if we got Gardner and Woolen he would be a slot since the others are boundary corners and he isn’t as fast but more agile and a good tackler just like a slot. Or maybe he’d play safety or a depth corner.
Lions rush attack is actually pretty good (helps they have a great rushing O-line when healthy overall). Better RBs can help but they got so much more holes to fill. Great RB talents can be had every year as well in the 2nd/3rd days of the draft. Woolen is balling this year in part due to Pete and his staff coaching him and the rest of the defense up. I think Aaron Glenn has to do much more for his secondary to do their job without much talent in the D-line and being so squishy against the run themselves.

Campbell and Gardner as a pair of true, lockdown shutdown corners would be *fun as hell* to watch every Sunday. It reminds me of how much fun Ramsey and Bouye were to watch back in 2017.
