It's a posy ring. For putting short stemmed flowers in like violets, small roses, etc. unusual square shape, they're usually round.
Nicole, we finally cleaned out my dads garage attic and I found an entire 8 place setting, to include creamer and sugar dish of the blue Currier & Ives transferware in mint condition that belonged to my grandmother.
I have hunted for these for years and resigned myself that they were likely trashed or someone walked away with. We found a lot of other treasures that I either didn’t know existed or had forgotten.
It was like Christmas morning in the dusty, hot attic!
I use that little corning ware skillet to make cornbread! It's the perfect size for one box of Jiffy mix. It wouldn't be practical for a family, but it works perfect for me as a single.
Hi, that isn't an ashtray, it is for flowers. Also, those dishes you said someone donated are fused glass, basically recycled glass. Cute things in that shop.
As you were looking at the spreaders, I thought to myself how cute they would be just stuck down in a potted plant!
Great idea!
I been collecting the vintage Corning ware blue corn. It's a bonus when the cover is with it...lol
The prices are incredible! Thank you for taking us there😊.
Pontils can be smooth like the orange vase. I think better blown glass often has the Pontic ground smooth.

I love pink depression glass!
I love the glass-topped desk. My grandfather clock was made by Sligh in Michigan. It’s quality.
Cracks me up how are shopping budgets are similar. $5 is my max for most things, has to be amazing! Mostly I like $1 to $2. Thanks for sharing your shopping trips! Have a lovely week...
I want a set of the fransican desert rose China but I can't find it in our small area and it's so expensive online. I keep looking and hoping.
I inherited my MIL’s Desert Rose service for 12 - she bought it back in the early 60s, and it’s all the early California mark on the bottom. It does make a pretty table setting without being too fussy.
I’m in Washington state and have a set from my mother in law. Where are you at?
I have a loaf pan in the CorningWare cornflower blue. Things bake beautifully in it. Love the square baker! Would absolutely pick one up if I’m ever lucky enough to find one. Great thrift haul!
I love seeing all the blue and white pieces you find. There were some beautiful pieces of furniture in the store today too. Have a good week!
The square Corning ware you picked up is the size I use most to make a broccoli casserole in. I have all my mom’s Corning ware and I use them all the time. ✌🏼❤️
The Scotty dogs were candy holders. They were filled with small candies and a paper label was glued on as a cover. They’re from the 30’s to the 50’s. Good find.
The Scottie dog candy containers were open on the bottom and were sealed with paper while the creamers were open on the top. If you goggle image both you will see the difference. Both types have been reproduced.
Lots to look at today. Legacy Thrift rarely disappoints. Thanks for sharing!
Hi Nicole! Have you been losing weight? Whatever you’re doing you look great! 😃How is the job hunt going? Hopefully in the right direction!
Legacy Thrift is amazing. You can’t beat their prices at all. I cry when I go to Goodwill now. So expensive! It’s pretty bad when people say, “I can’t even afford to shop at the thrift store!” 😆
I get weak in the knees when I see maple hutches! I want them alllllll😅lol
Great haul! Love the salt cellar.
I probably would have bought a glass medicine bottle or two. Great prices, especially the furniture.
Those cornflower dishes are my childhood! haha I'm pretty sure we had a square dish too. Fun fact, I grew up very close to where those dishes originated. 😊 Nice finds Nicole!
Thanks for sharing.
I love to get all the fun cheese, pate, butter spreaders at thrift stores. I check every time. I dig through the entire silverware bin and look.
These prices are AMAZING!! Here in California, that 2.99 salt seller would be 10 bucks easy.
Oohpah!! That was me. Thanks for getting my humor.
Coming to the twin cities late June for a visit with subs. Can you please share a list in the description box of your 5 top thrift stores on the west side of the TC. Need to check them out.
Great finds! Love the copper teapot and the pretty salt shaker. Maybe you’ll find its mate on another trip. I try to set myself a $6 limit when I thrift, although I went above that for a marked Waterford candle holder that was $7, and an Enoch Wedgwood dish that was $8. Have a happy!
Legacy Thrift is such a nice store. Wish I had a thrift store like that near me. Love the salt cellar too!
I would love some of those furniture pieces. Great prices. I would need a bigger house to put them in too. Can you use the copper tea pots or are they just for looks?
Legacy is by far my favorite local thrift store!
Its a flower frog not ashtray
😊👍👋
When you opened that desk drawer it brought back memories of my grandmothers desk and how it sounded when she pulled out a drawer.
Nicole I am so jealous to see you in a jacket. Here in Texas temperatures are over 100.
Ditto here in California
Always enjoy your thrift hauls! The furniture was all amazing. Nicole, don’t know if you are able to answer this question, but what about Robin? I haven’t seen any new posts from her in a while and really miss her. Thank you.🙏🏻
Hi! Yes, life is busy for Robin! 💕
@@NicoleNorthgarden Thank you so much, Nicole❤️
Nice choices!
Love the blue and white salt cellar !!!! And that was an adorable salt shaker 😊 thanks for sharing your finds.
Is the lid upside down on the salt seller
I just keep seeing things that want to become pincushions :) those “Delft” style cups especially!!
The scottie dogs came with candy in the older than vintage
And we're used as creamers when the candy was gone.
Hi Nicole I love all ur trifting finds 💗 I love the salt holder and I diffently would have bought the toothpick holder 💖 thanks for sharing always Laura
That’s a great thrift store. I love the salt cellar. I’m a big fan of blue and white decor
Scottie dogs are individual creamers
I would have snatched that oval selerydish for 5 dollars, so hard to find here
Not an ashray, you put florals in that open ring. I put a candle in the middle
I use those Scottydogs as personal creamers
Adorable mug. with the bird
I love quilts and afghans
Gorgeous desk and hutch(been looking for more then 5 years for one here)
Waterfall piece, stunning!
I loved the coupper coffeepot
Love the wateringcan!, grate decor and usefullpiece
I love cupperdecor, it warms up your home/kitchen
Beautyfull saltseller
sweet shaker.
