    Just got unitronic stage 1+ with cold air plus a short shifter for my mk8.

      Dood, how's that running? I've a '17 MKVII with a Unitronic stage-1+. Pah-len-tee of power! Upgrading th Bilstein struts & shocks this Spring. Hopefully adding a short-shift kit as well.

      @@audieconrad8995 the stage 1+ has plenty but you know how it goes. Went to stage 2 with all the bolt on's about 3 months ago. So far, it's been great. We are even quicker. She is my daily and no issues as of yet. At 60k miles
      I can share on all my mods on the next comment.

    Mean stages Bro, I’d say come out to Hawaii and tune but there’s not enough road to get some 100-200 testing or better yet 60-130 keep forgetting I left Europe lol.

    Did you use the OEM Pipes for the Intercooler? Or did you upgrade those as well?

    Quick question bruv just started watching and u mentioned lower egts b-coz of the pipe is that b-coz the dpf and cat hold on to the heat and is the sensor after both of them. ✌👍👊😎

    Also as I watch I have to ask, did Uk not have engine cover problems/recalls. Same question about your radiators/coolant hoses

    Considering unitronic got 366hp out of a stage 1 93 with just an intercooler, the potential is definitely there on the stock turbo.
    Of course you can’t compare these two numbers just because of all the differences and the dyno used as well, but I’m confident 400+ is possible.
    I’ve seen the mk7 make 360whp on a stock is20 and that’s more than 400+, but that’s not your average tune.
    Wonder what these mk8’s with the garret turbo will make with max effort on the stock turbo

      @@NVMotorsportUK Is E85 something you guys can get at gas station? I’m from a part of the US that has it readily available so I wouldn’t know how it is over there, but I would be interested to see if there is a decent gain since it has the same compression ratio as the gen 3

      IS20 making 360whp? Good luck with that, IS38 yes is possible but even is38 is not easy to make 360+whp.

      @@fabini14 You must live under a rock. There are is20’s making 370+whp. To the wheels, not the crank.
      Is38’s making 400+whp left and right, its not impressive anymore.
      Not easy for an is38 to make 360+ 😂 a piggyback has no problem making more than that on a stock car. Every ots tune makes over 360whp

    Seems like the stage 2 gains might not be all that worth it? I’m wondering what stage 1 plus intercooler and free flow filter would have made compared to the decat and OPF delete

      @A Hussain Dragy times don’t show that big of a time improvement. Probably because most of the power is on the peak. Also seems like most of gains came after intercooler upgrade and adjusted file. I could be wrong but I know it does add nice throttle response and sound obviously

I’m just wondering how much extra power he would have gained with intercooler and tune vs down pipe, intercooler and tune? However I totally forgot about it being FWD and spinning so that would explain the Dragy numbers

      It seems to me (from watching a few videos) that the most gains come from intercooler, intake & ECU mods with outlets & exhaust mods adding relatively smaller gains 🤔

    If bmp is making making similar hp but more torque where is the difference. I think they we’re making 435. Which you means you guys should be making 600 nm on stock turbo 🧐 is it because you didn’t have full intake or turbo inlet ? Or elevation?

      99% of the problem is different dyno and loading.. we run our sweep in 4th gear with enough load to correlate to actual road sweep time.. those who alter this always output a different figure.. let alone a different parasitic model
