I build custom crawlers from $500-$3000 dollars but I still love nothing more than modifying or seeing a modified non hobby grade vehicles. Love what you're doing Phil keep it up!
It's makes me wonder why none of these RC companies have any I.P. licensing? Imagine if Traxxas did a legit brushless Mario Kart or Arrma doing a BLX Batmobile. Business wise, they would make a killing!
Yeah, I think there would be a huge market even if someone made bodies for the infraction and Felony that was Mario Kart or Batman. That’s would be sweet! Those bodies would stay sold out lol
Nintendo is notoriously locked down on their marketing and stuff etc so this will most likely never happen. They don't even let Twitch streamers play their games. Which is actually a terrible marketing move on their part tbh.
Most companies that make these things make them cheap as possible and just ride on the IP to sell the massively over priced crap they pump out. Plus the less money they put into it the more money they make since they likely have to pay out a percentage to the company that owns the IP and the more likely they'll get future contracts
Great project, you sound so stoked when he takes off 👌 Mario's lean when he turns is a classic bit of Nintendo charm too. Imagine the mayhem bringing a couple of these out with the kids and drawing up a chalk race track
I’m late to the party with this one. I don’t know why I haven’t see this before but this is so cool. Love the idea of taking something & improving it just like the Barbie cars 😎👍🏻

Awesome project and video! Imagine 3d printing some high quality gears for that rear end and getting some rubber on the feets! The sky is the limit and I would LOVE and pay to watch a squad of these race on a track!
What a fun build ! Would love to see a mario cart racing competition, maybe get some of your mates (Bearded RC thinking of you here) to do builds so you can race, would make some awesome vids i think ??

I think that you should make one of the 4 stroke rc cars that everyone is making, I saw the one that Kevin is making and I believe that you could show him up with a better one. Also, idk if you saw Johnnyq90’s version of it yet but I think you should watch it.
Yeah, I've seen a few people do that. Not been following Kev's one....seems to be going on and on... RC Tanks And Trucks has done a decent conversion on a truck as well... looked awesome!
What Pinion did you use? I‘m also doing a brushless conversion but don’t know what Pinion fit on the 2mm Motor shaft and the Carerra transmission gears.
