    When I was a kid and I first beat this game, I wasn't very good at it, and two of the teammates were shot down. Back then I assumed they were killed, and this music made me think about how they didn't live to see the victory they fought so hard for.

      That's actually pretty fucking sad

    • @Idazmi7

      In this first game, they _are_ killed if they get shot down.

    • @slimeslayer2427
      @slimeslayer2427 8 лет назад +32

      Idazmi7 You know what I don't get? If Falco is supposed to be the most skilled member of starfox, then why does he die after only 2-3 levels (if you don't keep him from getting shot down) whereas fox goes through the whole game without needing assistance?

    • @Idazmi7
      @Idazmi7 8 лет назад +35

      SlimeSlayer 242 Very good question. It likely relates to the fact that Fox is the protagonist and Falco isn't. Really, with this sort of game I don't think they should have mentioned relative skills *_anywhere_* around the game itself, unless it's a plot point or something.

      Because everyone, if you fail a 'save' event, takes 1/4 health damage. No exceptions. If I remember right, he doesn't often get save events, though.

      They used the original Star Fox Theme in the Switch Version of Starlink: Battle for Atlas. Felt so satisfying to finally hear some music of the original and not the music from Star Fox 64, which is still very good and still suiting Star Fox as well

      Ganymede, Jupiter III The crimson Sunset is... Pretty harsh... A change that never changes, But a motion forward nonetheless, Breaking a new day often Awakens with only the crys of the lost and mandable as our way is, Its more often overlooked.
      Ofcourse, whatever our choice may be, A heart knows the real course of life, It begins and ends often in a short whim and as straightforward is, We keep going on.

    • @sunstruck
      @sunstruck 9 лет назад +3

      ***** definitely. the SNES had a soundchip that was dedicated to the music. On the n64 there was no soundchip - the music directly affected the workload of the entire game. for this reason n64 music was rarely as good in my opinion... although I do think there are titles on the n64 that did have really good music. Check out the Body Harvest OST for instance
