I know most likely due to technical limitations, but the first Starfox has always been my favorite because of its abstract/psychedelic/geometrical stuff. It's super trippy, and I wish the series would have gone more in this direction.
I feel the same. And I loved the original puppets used for the magazines and cover art of the game too. Everything about the original star fox was extremely unique and awesome.
I wish we got a “Starfox Remastered” that fixes the frame rate issues and natural color and pixel limitations of a 16 bit system, but keeps the abstract polygons.
I always loved this level above all others. The pitch black sky and the way the suroundings/ennemies are lit plus this awesome theme all fit together. I could feel what it was like being in that arwing
i think what i love the most about Snes tracks is the echo that is sometimes in tracks, in this game it works perfect, i really and truly wish they stuck with this kind of style, if they ever do anything other than make another remake for the umpteenth time.
So, this stage is literally a meteor floating through space...so big it could practically be a moon. and they flew on it! damn this route was badass. and it was only easy mode! XD
@@gochem3013 if you own a Nintendo Switch and sub to their online services you get full access to their SNES library which as StarFox 1 and 2 as entries!
It's crazy I enjoy and appreciate 16 bit gaming more and more everyday don't get me wrong I'm looking forward to buying my Xbox series X But the games I'm actually looking forward to play are all retro games I'm not saying that new games or next gen games sucks but my love for retro games is only getting stronger and stronger. Listening to 16 bit video games tracks brings me as much joy as ever am I the only one who feel this way??
It’s like playing outer space in virtual reality when I first played Star Fox for the SNES before trading it and all the games and console to funcoland with my dad in the 2000’s

Well there's Ex Zodiac
Agreed 100%. I will always think of Star Fox as having the most beautiful graphics of any game ever made.
@@ikagura Thanks for that recommendation! I had no idea!

My favourite instrument in this game is the MIDI guitar
completely clueless ? I
Working it pretty hard.
Fox on the dance floor, showing off those sick moves
COME ON!
Try *.75x playback speed*
Cpt. Falcon - Show me your moves!
Fox - ...OK you asked for it.

Gotta have it for dramatic effect of the music.
One of the iconic Star Fox songs in my time
Amazing composition, really like how it's arranged, too. The percussion is great.
I've never even played this game and I still think this music is amazing
You totally should, it's so worth it
Really Needs test it!
I've only played this game on Nintendo Switch Online for a minute. Might get a cartridge for my Super Famicom.
I played 64 much more, but after recently playing this one I really fell in love with it. Especially due to the music
Still bumping this music over 2 decades later.
nearly 3 decades now
One of my favorite routes...
Brings back memories doesn't it
Yep
.75x speed, Fox McCloud got dat lean - on a more serious note, though... one of the best game OSTs to date. Hajime Hirasawa is god tier
I like to think the buzzer/klaxon that sets this song's rhythm is in fact the ships alert-system warning Fox of close proximity meteors.
Titania Base Act 1.
This is one of my favourite tracks from the game. Just has such an amazing, eerie vibe and beat. :)
Sounds like DISCO NIGHT...!!
So, this stage is literally a meteor floating through space...so big it could practically be a moon. and they flew on it! damn this route was badass. and it was only easy mode! XD
You're spot on there mate! You sound like you was in this battle? I was there myself assisting the star fox team
I really like the instrumentation used for this game, it really nails the "dogfights in outer space" thing this game has going for it.
Whatever happened to the Battle Base Meteor? I was disappointed that it never ever reappeared again...
The place got blown up that's why
blew up inside out after this level.
blew up inside out after this level.
makes me want to eat ALL of the mushrooms
Amazing song
You never play this game!!!!! you should definitely try it, one of the best games ever design.
I want to play it. I'll try it. Because, I love the design of this game. CGI 1993 FTW.

@@DantesonofSparda85 emulators: hey
when you’re playing Blast in the new Battlefront 2. mute all sounds, play this instead. Enjoy :)
Playing... the new Battlefront 2? Is this a joke?
Why is the sound bumped down in the real game you could hear it much more clearly
This Slaps hard
This song has always reminded me of a mix between Ayla - Dj Taucher and Dj Icey - Escape.
This and StarFox 64 are some of the best games Nintendo has ever made.
Good old disco music 😁 "Starfox" also sounds like an 80s band.
That time when i didnt know that "retros" were brakes
GREAT SONG !!!

No you are not!
Are you sure going to fast, be careful whit my airwings....
The fact that this game uses multiple instrument samples from other games such as the distortion guitar from megaman x 2 blows my mind
This guitar is from Roland U220, and also the same sample was used in the game Pirates Of Dark Water, this sample was probably in the spc700 devkit.
2019
It was always a damn GOOD OST for its time and it will ALWAYS be too ahead of our times🦊✈️
Broodals Battle from Super Mario Odyssey reminded me of this
They should call this song the theme of chicago.
Slam that damn break!
Its really not a death star trench run, But concievablility just refuses to think like that
Peppy, get lost you fiend
Yeah thanks fox
Slippy, croak help me
Thanks for the save fox
Blasting all sorts of high tech, sci fi machines and you run into helicopters.
This kinda hits hard tho
is like starcastle/saga influences in there
Meteor-The Giant Meteo-planet
Classic
It's a toss up to me between Corneria and Meteor for my favorite Star Fox music for the Super Nintendo.
For some reason, this song gives me Transformers vibes. Makes me think "Decepticons".
DO A BARREL ROLL!
Why does all the Badass music have to be THE EASY ROUTE?
