These adorable little birby parakeets are just little chitter and talking machines. Just non stop movements and sounds. And they sound like little helicopters when they fly. My first bird was a parakeet and she lived ten years.

Just now watched this video for the first time and picture is as clear as can be! Pixel has almost a purplish color near his ears!!! Also blue around his eyes that I never noticed before too which must be the picture clarity!? Kiwi is also, dare I say, looking a little green…….er!!!! Beautiful boys!!!

Are green budgies usually larger than blue budgies (not talking about English budgies)? I have a blue budgie and green budgie, and the green budgie is larger than the blue budgie. Seems Kiwi is larger than Pixel, too. By the way, I love these guys. Yours, and mine.
Kiwi is 20% lighter than Pixel actually. Pixel is a much larger bird.
They're saying hi to Evie to well at least chirping and even Mary is chirping this time. We love you guys.

I think we all have the same issue with lack of counter space....
I can't really complain too much as we're lucky to live in the place where we do - and I've certainly had tinier kitchens - but it's by no means a large kitchen. Pair that with the modern obsession with kitchen gadgets and you end up with barely enough room to prep a large meal!

Kiwi is 6.5 years old and Pixel is 3.5 years old.
This must be a long shot but I need some advices about my budgie. I got my male budgie from a petshop 2 months ago and currently he is well tamed cute asshole which I love to death. He is currently 5 months old and I realized for the past 2 weeks he started flirting my finger and this is funny I know but he constantly tries to mate with my hand and fingers. I try to distract him from this behaviour by picking him up with my other hand but he never seems to give up that idea. Am I doing something wrong or is it completely natural for the time being? Thank you for reading this far :)
Is natural behavior, no real need to distract from it. Just don’t put a mirror in the cage.
