Nice fabrication skills. With some basic tools and a killer metal work bench you can do quite a bit. Always a pleasure to see someone actually create something. I almost picked up the Clodbuster but opted for the Everest 10. I was conflicted with having 2 motors and getting a brushless ESC or 2 ESC's to control them. I guess the plus is that you don't have a center gearbox. It actually looks like a very strong design.
😁👍 Nice work, the black edition looks sweet!! Yep the stock esc's are not to good you can run 20T on them that's about it. I run that traxxas esc in my clod it works great the new 880 quick run ones are super nice now lots of adjustments on them. ...😁👍 Nice sticker in the background!
Just watched this video again and noticed something with the aluminum plate you made. The wires that go through the holes aren't protected from metal edges..have you added rubber grommets?
Honestly out of all of the tires on the market I still like the originals the best they’re durable, hook up good and not having foam helps with hard landings. As far as wheels I run these on my other super clodbuster www.ebay.com/itm/Aluminum-Wheel-Rim-Adjustable-Tamiya-R-C-1-10-Clodbuster-Bullhead-TXT-Juggernaut-/323030148269?_trksid=p2349624.m46890.l49292
Nice tip on those connectors!, Can the esc be mounted direct to the chassis without that plate? Was thinking it would be simpler, no holes in metal to run wires through. Rubber grommets might be good insurance to protect the wires. Got my 1st clod in the box waiting on time to build it👍😁
Hi I really like watching your videos I just picked up a black edition can’t wait to start building what servo would you recommend for stock steering. Thanks bob
That’s awesome! Good luck with the build. Here’s a link to the servo I use Savox SW-1212SG - Waterproof Coreless Digital 7.4V Steel Gear Servo .14sec/638oz www.amazon.com/dp/B084JKK5M9/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_BJECNVW1SV9F5YVAZC0G
Hey. Sorry for the late response for some reason I don’t get notifications anymore so I go through the comments when I get down time. You can reach me through my fb page facebook.com/Aggravated-Assault-Monster-Truck-110688720553335/ Look forward to seeing pics of your build
@@clodbusted1776 No big deal. I don't do FB anymore otherwise I'd send some pics for sure. I went with rc4wd ignitor 2.6 wheels and they give a nice look. But I think I may have forgot a bearing in one of the axles since I was left with a small one from fasteddy. Also what would you recommend for the steering servo? The hitec 5648 isn't strong enough and constantly buzzed.
This is a nice chassis but a little pricey www.jconcepts.net/shop/regulator-chassis-conversion-kit-fits-clod-buster Or you can get one similar to the one I’m running off eBay pretty cheap. The one on this truck is a vintage sassy chassis but there’s guys selling clones
I still have yet to build mine. Really enjoy your simple tools approach! Thanks for the video!

Those quick runs are nice I have one in one of my other clods it’s been very reliable. Definitely a cool sticker one of my favorite channels 👍🏻
Great channel bro my Clod black edition will be arriving tomorrow 🤘🏻
Always fun to watch custom parts being made. Looks like it has a lot of punch now.

Very nice mod! I never seen metal cutter and it is huge and make it easy to cut.

@@clodbusted1776 nice thanks for the info
Great video I like when you make custom parts
Thank you for always helpful and great videos.
I feel happy with a good video.
Have a nice day. 😀😀😀😀😀

I tried that but the battery wires weren’t long enough. You gotta get that clod built 👍🏻

I ran those same connectors in the 90’s, still have a bag full.
Me too. I was racer in those days. Never once had an issue with them. Everyone s
Else ran deans connectors and those melted back then.
Order new clod on Wednesday can't wait!
Awesome! good luck with the build
Bad ass brother appreciate the video
How can I send you a picture of mine? I'm almost done but I do want to keep it as stock as possible.
If that's ok with you

My kid broke the stock chassis on my superclod. Whats a decent aftermarket chassis that you recommend?

What chassis is this?
Where can I buy one? Thanks
That’s a vintage sassy chassis. They’re not being made anymore but they pop up on eBay often
@@clodbusted1776 thanks
However it's been a very fun build but not excited for the body build and I'm saving the tire/wheel's for last. Although like the videos as usual
Finally took the plastic off the box last night
