(Damn im old!)
Right there with ya man
Still run mine. 1998 and 3-9 miles a year on trails and winters pushing snow .
Pushed gallons of water and pulled a whole th400 truck transmission in a wagon from the 80s 12v battery, 550 case air compressor motors , evx2 and basic wiring diagram just like the original with hi low . . Awesome truck! Thanks for the video !
Nice truck I always wanted one. I was 10 or 12 . But remember the truck vividly it inspired me yo what I do still today. RC FOR LIFE !!!!!!
Our old skool toys take us back. When life was simple . . Thank God for RC
Seeing this took me back to being a kid. I wanted one so bad. It was the RC to have back then.
Wow that was a trip down memory lane, great truck. Reminds me of the Tamiya Blackfoot i had in the early 90's
Still got mine! Got it when i was a kid my dad put it all together when i went to bed... shes all oem we even painted body red to match the box im sure the 7.2 packs are shot if i can even find em but shes still alive last i checked👍
The original. Clod buster was my first rc truck
The Clod was the start of the $300 kit build that turned into a $2000 investment project. 😂😂
LoL YEP!
It rides just like the 80s monster trucks too just stiff looking...I love it!
Love the CLOD. one of my favorites of all time from my childhood.
Still have my Clod, got it in 88/89 If I remember right.
Yeah buddy I hear ya going to have to now speed up the progress on mine
Awesome clodbuster
I still drive my tamiya blackfoot every once in awhile.Nice to enjoy these old rigs :)
Just show us ol’skooler we old 🤣😂✊🏽
Cool truck. It really takes me back. I had a monster beetle back in the late 80s. I was in 8th grade I believe. Fun kit to assemble. Love the videos.
Sold mine long ago but always had a soft spot for it. Watching the slo-mo footage it really does capture the suspension behavior of a true monster truck of the 80's. Just really bouncy and hard to land. I think that's part of the joy of driving it compared to all these really dialed in bashers. Where did you score the light bar in the bed? I could use that for a couple projects. Thanks!
Nice throwback! Nothing wrong with a few shelf queens!
all the motivation i needed to start building my kit. good stuff.
It’s so cool seeing that thing bash around love the old square body rigs
Hola como has configurado la dirección para que funcione así , le has puesto 2 servos?’como lo has configurado?
I wished I had kept my Clodbuster, I had the second version of the Clodzilla race chassis for it with Midnight 2 pro motors. Should have kept it.
What a cool rig. Great Vid.
Love your video. Getting 4 myself
At one time I had dual aluminum rims, but it did not work too well back soon because the servers were not strong enough to turn them. I still miss it even though I have several vehicles, several 1/24 scale and 1/10 scale. My wife even got me a 1/14 scale Tamiya king Hauler truck and trailer
Bad ass I build one for five months ago I put in 15 trun motors and two esc but I love your 🔥 kit
I want to when I was younger get this with 4 shocks each tire etc and lights I wish I could have
That’s a cool.truck.I got the black foot.it’s a fun truck to drive.my dad had one when I was a kid.I put the mip diff in the truck and a hotter stock motor and put lunch box tires on it.it rips.for what it is.I run it on Nimh.haven’t tried 2s yet.
I put the MIP diff in my Blackfoot. I then put a hobbywing £180 brushless set up in it. It was completed overkill. It would wheelie on command. It was great until it completely stripped the MIP diff. Ended up sticking the stock diff in if and a sports tuned brushed motor 🤣
That’s awesome love the lights
Awesome video! Thanks for sharing this passion with others.
A classic truck that never went out of style tamiya forever great video looks good 👍
Yeah awesome I got one putting together now well sort of ain’t worked on it in a while. Where are you get the rims I like those any info I prescient
The clod is legendary
Love the old school stuff
I had one of the original one’s. It was a great truck.
The Epic Clodbuster!!!
I got one of these but only because my dad bought it when he was a kid were could I go to get parts to make his run
Such a great rc truck thankyou for posting this video👊
cool vid! appreciate the first 24h views number! big like!👍👍👍
One of my favorites as well!
i never owned a tamiya but it was great to see it run
you have your own rc kingdom in your backyard?
Amazing how stable it is.
Awesome classic!
What servos did you use? My cheapo “13kg” rated servos are struggling to turn the wheels at a stand still. I’m using Jconcept’s BTA steering kit, front and back for 4WS. Have you tried them? I don’t think they’re ideal for bashing though, cause you’d lose some ground clearance. Good for racing though, front wheels steering only.
Waiting for a repop of the juggernaut
I just found my original clod. Bustee I'm looking to rebuild
Are those stock motors?
Nice , liké it 👍👍👍👍✋✋✋
Nostalgia
Amazing 🙌🙌🙌
Awesome
Is That Stock Motor?
Last year I gave the two I had to a kid to brighten his day.... What was I thinking??🤔
I had the Kyosho USA1 4ws
