I would love to have this but for the regular style saw. I'm one of the people who need the help as I have macular degeneration which interferes with my straight ahead vision.
Hi Clint, This looks like a great idea and helpful for me as a newbie to woodworking. More Dream than experience, but in time that can even out 😄🤩😁. I'm sure there are other people who like me have macular degeneration or other vision problems that this will help. Love to have one, but the price is way too much for my limited income. Who knows maybe there's a DIY way to make it?? I have a few ideas for tool box/cart mods. I smile every time you say SMEEEESH !!!! the LIKE BUTTON 😂😆 Thanks again for sharing your thoughts and videos, Rodney
These are a great idea for the average DIYer or novice carpenter. If you learn to push the saw with your shoulder instead of your elbow you'll get straighter cuts. After 35+ years and burnt out 3 corded worm drive skill saws you learn the tricks.
@JKirkrms6 place the blade on the pencil line just off of the board and start the saw.. push the saw along the line.. you should be able to see the cut happening. After a while it gets easier
I must say that guide show needs to extend past the middle of the blade in order to hold the guide at the end of the cut. This is something really important or the cut is not going to be straight at the end.
Nice to see that it fits my Skilsaw SPT67WM. And I do a lot of repetitive cuts, in fact this would've been perfect to try out on a build I'm currently doing. Something to consider aside from using my clamp down edge guides. And quicker too
I wonder how is the end of the cut, looks like start really straight but most of the brands have the problem of when you get to the end of the cut goes off. Good video .
I bought the Kreg Edge guide I've been happy with except recently when I was ripping down deck planks it kept on going Center at the end of my cut I don't know if it was cuz of dust or the way I had it set up I was using that on a Makita D handle saw keep up the great work😎🍻🍺
How would you make a cut length wise, let’s say you want to shave 5” of the length of a 4X8 board. either the motor is on the waste size or you will not be able to reach the saw if you stand on the other side of the board. Any advise would be appreciated as i am south paw and is considering buying a worm circular saw. Thanks
They have them for right or left-blade saws. It's not a problem for my left-blade DeWalt. I make cuts like that all the time. Either style saw will let you do that. Start from the side that lets you rest the bulk of the tool on the wood.
Its a tidy addition but cant say its something ive missed nor see enough reason to spend so much on it. Any benefit could be replicated for free or just a few £$ anyway.
I am digging this $79 is a bit up there but if you got the DeWalt worm drive style and skil worm drive you good at this price when it comes to Skil sidewinder I say have there top of the line
Yo TRZ! I like it! Like you said it's alittle ridiculous on the price for the extension. I can't wait for that Mitre accessory, hurry up with that vid! Lol! Hope your having a great day brother!!!
Nice tool. Will definitely save your arm and back if you had many cuts to make. I think you underestimate your strength 🏋️♂️💪. I love how you always find them tools and attachments that not to many people have ever seen. 👀👍
@toolreviewzone have you got the mitre saw attachment that you have been raving about to show us yet. I don't really have a need for this circular saw one as I just get my tracks out but I could definitely use and would invest in an accessory for my mitre saws. Show us show us please 😂😁
A gimmick. Users of worm drives saws which are generally heavier than their direct drive counterparts don't have strength issues. At 5:20, nothing about this rip guide keep it tight to the work, just like every other rip guide.
What do you think about the Skateplate? Would you use this?
I would definitely pick this tool up

@@rodw I'm a newbie to woodwork as well anything that can help me stop the accidental turning off the cut line is a great thing for me
@@rodw HAHA thanks for the awesome comment buddy. Also, thats a great point you make about the vision problems!

I'm your one thousandth like for this video.
You = awesomeness
Really cool idea for straight cuts! I learned to follow a pencil line or chalk line but for those who need some help this is a slick tool
Yeah Riley, absolutely 👊
@JKirkrms6 place the blade on the pencil line just off of the board and start the saw.. push the saw along the line.. you should be able to see the cut happening. After a while it gets easier
@JKirkrms6 that works too.. just need to make sure that 2x4 is straight or the cut won't be. For that I'd say use a level for a guide over lumber.
I must say that guide show needs to extend past the middle of the blade in order to hold the guide at the end of the cut. This is something really important or the cut is not going to be straight at the end.
You have a video on say ripping 2x4's into 5/8 strips with a corded saw??
Nice to see that it fits my Skilsaw SPT67WM. And I do a lot of repetitive cuts, in fact this would've been perfect to try out on a build I'm currently doing. Something to consider aside from using my clamp down edge guides. And quicker too
My Milwaukee 6 1/2 “ cordless circular saw and ridgid brushless 6 1/2” circular fit the skate ok.
The skate plate is universal, for both left and right saws.
I’m definitely looking into this!
Very cool accessorie to add to the toolaholics arsenal
I like this a lot but here uk can't get one so ive got a project now i'm new to your chanel and its a good one thank you for sharing
Great video brother.
THANKS DAVID!!!

Man that thing is super cool, I gotta have that bad boy!

Yeah, probably not for everyone Ryan
Hi can you do a review on the skil pwrcore 12v cir saw.....thx
Really just need to know how to cut straight
Wow I never seen that does it looks super smooth to bad it didn’t work out on the Milwaukee
Yeah was a bummer for sure cause that's the one I was going to use it on 👊
I am digging this $79 is a bit up there but if you got the DeWalt worm drive style and skil worm drive you good at this price when it comes to Skil sidewinder I say have there top of the line
I'm going to get the extension accessorie for it. I was going to get a track saw, but won't need it with this 👊👊👊
Will the skate work on concrete?
Yes, look for the SKATEPLATE H2O water saw kit There are videos on YT showing it...
Nice kit. Rollers are genius. Any chance it's reversible? Can the guide be mounted on the opposite side, quickly, if needed?
Yeah bro, you can but it on the other side if you want.
Very nice
Does this work on the ridgid?
yep
I dig it!!
Yo TRZ! I like it! Like you said it's alittle ridiculous on the price for the extension. I can't wait for that Mitre accessory, hurry up with that vid! Lol! Hope your having a great day brother!!!
HAHA, I know Amos, I can't wait to show you all how cool that Miter Saw attachment is!!!!!!!!!
Nice tool. Will definitely save your arm and back if you had many cuts to make. I think you underestimate your strength 🏋️♂️💪. I love how you always find them tools and attachments that not to many people have ever seen. 👀👍
Thanks brother 👊 Yeah I Love cool tools, but I have a really freaking awesome one coming for a miter saw buddy 👊
😎🍻🍺

I just found out that its coming next week. I guess they are tweaking it
Will it work on a hitachi?
It will work on the C7SB2, C7BMR, C7ST
Why wouldn't they switch those screws with wingnuts instead? 👀
Would definitely be better. Great point!
Why they don't make one for a router
they do...
I just bought an inexpensive track saw...Maybe I made the wrong choice?
I guess it depends on what you are going, but with the extension, you can cover a lit of area with this
he must make his own plywood lmao dude you cut that shit like you did not just pay 90 a sheet
Was way before the wood gouging.... I mean, inflation 😪
omg that exists?! definetely getting it. also first comment! and i will be buying the ryobi miter saw
I have some really really cool coming for the miter saw this next week bro. One of the coolest accessories I've ever seen
@@ToolReviewZone can't wait to see how naass lak it is
Hahahahaha 👊👊👊👊
the guide must be near the blade not in front of it
That's going to make the saw bind up I would think....you would be pushing in towards the blade.. just saying but what the hell do I know..
A gimmick. Users of worm drives saws which are generally heavier than their direct drive counterparts don't have strength issues. At 5:20, nothing about this rip guide keep it tight to the work, just like every other rip guide.
Only reason I would use this would be to not mar a finished or painted piece. Otherwise it’s just an overpriced gimmick. Or you could you masking tape
According to this video, it fits the makita. ruclips.net/video/jCunaNaQyVE/видео.html
Good tool but for beginners or joiner work, pros like me dont need that...
Yeah definitely not for everyone King
That saw is to BULKY...AND FAT...TOO BIG...I STICK TO MY CORD SAW..BOSCH..SAME AS SKILL SAW.
bad design
