I am just getting back into knitting, and I learned way back when you were stitch a day and I was a teen. I’m so happy to see you’re making content again around the same time I became an adult and started knitting again! Also, my favorite Christmas movie is The Grinch 💚🎄
I just read this in October, 2024. I am trying to start knitting again. I have tried to download the patterns but they are no longer available. Could you please repost them? I would love to try then to prepare for this Christmas!!
There are WAY too many good Christmas movies to have to figure out which is my favorite. I might have some I don't like, but I love so many. What is the pink mohair yarn? Do you know/ remember?
Hi Johnny, good video! At last something different instead of the million suggestions for baubles or bookmarks or mughugs!!! I noticed you were using some square needles. I have hand arthritis and □s are often recommended. Do you find them good /better /best???? And your brand of choice (if possible)? Do you know of any wooden/ bamboo ones? I'm in Australia so there's not as much choice here - unless someone else knows where I might find some, not just online? Anyway, I hope you have a knitty Christmas, and a yarnsome new year 🎄🎁🎉🧶🧶🧶
My preference is Kollage which I think are made in Canada now. Addi does have the Nova's which may be available in AU. Knit Pro also has their Cubics line which is technically wood but they are laminated and not my favorite. There's an American company called Indian Lake Artisans which makes hexagonal needles from hardwoods. They'd definitely be worth getting your hands on. Merry Knitmas to you!
I don’t understand, you say do 6 short rows, do you do the next row over the top of the 3, or do you start 6 stitches below the last 3 stitches you did a wrap on ?
Hi, I’ve just found you and I would like to say thank you for sharing this video, I really learnt a lot. Please tell me What circular needles you are using for the boot cuffs please? They look very sturdy and I’d like to get some. I have cheap bamboo ones at the moment and I can’t use them because I find them too flimsy (and I’m a clumsy left-hander!)
Thanks so much! I'm glad you liked it. Those needles are Kollage Square needles. I prefer the flexible cable option. You can find them here:amzn.to/3RfsiGD
@@yarnistco you’re welcome, credit where credit is due. Thank you very much for the info, I found them and I’ve added to my Christmas list. 🙏🏻 Speaking of Christmas do you have any Christmas themed videos coming up to look forward to?

@@yarnistco Many thanks. I'll look into those. Cheers , Deb
What size and length of circular needles are used for the boot cuff, please.
Everything should be written in the pattern, but a US8 16 inch circular is what I used.

Did you download the pattern? It has all of the instructions written out. 😉
Thank you
