2022 has ended and a new year has started once again. Here's a video slide show to commemorate the Master Grade Bootleg Gunpla Kits that were released in the year of 2022.

Are you excited for 2023? What kind of Knockoff cr@p would these bootleggers released this year? Another cash cow Unicorn Gundams? Astray Red Frame variants? Recolored versions of previous kits they released before or finally they'll be shut down by Banda for their IP infringement of these properties.
Who knows what the next year will be. One thing I know is that you can expect for me to continue on uploading Gundam related cr@p. There are still lots of cr@ppy gunplas out there that needed attention.

I just realized, Daban just spammed us with recolored RX78 and other recolor styff and a bunch of Unicorn Gundam. I think theyre slacking off and just reusing those assets

If Daban is done Milking Unicorn amd Astray Red Frame Variants then maybe, just maybe they can proceed into Metal Building some other Kits. I mean they were good at it

I had it prepare together with the 1/144 video, just needed a little bit of researching to ensure i dis not missed anything. And I say, Daban was dominating this year
Didn't even know that these were all released this year. It's probably because they all got overshadowed by the (bootleg) HG releases.
There ate lot of new hg 1/144 release last 2022. The Master Grade section though are just full of recolored RX-78-2 and a bunch of Unicorn Gundams 😂😂😂. I simply wont get those recolored once since I can paint a standard Gundam into whatever i prefer. They're just reusing their asset instead of devloping more new knockoffs that they can ripoff from Bandai in MG Department

i wonder why daban isnt releasing preban kit bootleg, esp HG, its demand also pretty high for certain kits
I've been wondering that myself, O mean they could easily rip off or recast premium kits but maybe theyre trying ro lie low from Bandais radar 😂😂. Intentionally copying premium kits will defnitely set fire on Bandai arse and they will be surely hunted down for it

Unfortunately no stormbringer anf GM Sniper 2 on the 2022 list. Daban loved to milk these grandaddies and unicorn just like how Bandai is doing it. Hoped we get more new unqiye knockoffs this year

Almost all of them are Daban with recolor version of old kits. A few is Hongli recolor version as well. Like in the comment Daban should retire the MG molded as it getting old. Those are easy pass for me since i have built several of them and its not a poser.
Their milking their asses (speicifically their molds) as much as they could 😂😂😂. As ripping off new kit from Bandai with the latest technology would require them to invest on new technology as well (I mean Bandai already did the RnD, they're just gonna rip it off but of course even that would cost them too. Not as much as Bandai did though 😂😂😂). As I said the HG 1/144 were the spotlight on the previous year. We'll see this year wjat 1/100 scale they would offer us
The only problem that incounter is the plastic they become crunchy when they age.
That's why it's always a good idea to paint them if you could. The paint will definitely protect the plastic from aging
Disagree on that. Third party stepped up their plastic game as well as their quality and fit.
A daban kit from today is nothing like a kit from 5-10 years ago!

There's already a TT Hongli MG Destiny before. I'm wondering why they haven't reissued that till now I mean they have already reissued th Full Burst Strike Freedom. Although the DM Destint is still the best one in my opinion

Yeah it's copyright infringement, but not every kit is a copy (bootleg) of an original kit.
Starting with the MG jagd doga quess version. Daban invented an inner frame based on the geara doga, and put armor with open hatches and articulation in this kit. Calling this a bootleg is an insult, because it has nothing to do with bandais re100 kit... Company's should be seen as third party, if they do their own kits. Like in the transformers fanverse
People may call it whatever they want, bootleg, third party kits, knock off, they can technical about it all they want but for me, who cares 🤣🤣🤣. These are plastic robots, i just build them because I love doing it. I don't want to be involve in too much dramas about infringement or morals of stolen design or whatever. At the end of the day, these are just plastic robots that will not impact the way live

But putting wrong terms or stigmatizing kits by doing that, drops the worth of effort put into it.
For examble Super nova. They put out great kits, with great quality! But every uneducated newbie calls their kits knockoff or bootleg. That's putting them in the same pool with bad and brittle "tt hongli" copies, but they don't belong their. U feel me?
@@stefandehmel5952 in my opinion, i think copyright infringement is somehow tied up to the term "bootleg", even if you create a Destiny Gundam, an original kit develop from scratch technically its a third party kit but since it was based from a copyright IP, then mkst people would still call it bootleg, educating people about the differences in the techincal term is quite tiresome 🤣🤣. Bootleg = Stolen or imitated design vs IP Infringement = unlicense use of an intellectual property for commercial purposes, you can say its almost same as stealing too. So, yeah. As I said, it doesnt matter to me, theyre all plastic robots 🤣
And you are incorrect as well, if it doesnt exactly looked like a replica of the original creation, if it was made from scratch with its own original engineering and development, but was based from an existing IP then its third party. If it didn't get the proper license to distribute it legally, then you might call it UNLICENSE third-party but still not a bootleg in the technical term

The Daban PG 1/60 RX-78-2 unleashed is a bootleg of the Bandai PG 1/60 RX-78-2 Unleashed = True because its a direct copy, a direct lnockofd VS. the Dragon Momoko MG 1/100 Deathscythe Hell is a bootleg of WHAT? Definitely NOT a bootleg of the Bandai MG 1/100 Deathscythe Hell EW as those 2 are thousand miles apart? If thay kit cant be classified as a bootleg then what would you call it? Licensed or not, the DM MG 1/100 Deathcythe Hell IS A THIRD PARTY KIT. If you will call that kit a BOOTLEG, please do tell me what original Bandai Kit it was a copied from? Regardless of what you care or not, your point is not valid and far from what you would call factual

Wow sarcasm didn"t work as expected 😂😂😂. I mean does the large "Bootleg" word on the thumbnail does not give it away? Implying that the kits on these videos are bootlegs/pirated/ripoff/knockoff/stolen design or whatnot 😂😂😂.
