Thats my problem as well,.I couldnt find one Daban archive in any site thay has a list of what they have released so far so I researched and compiled everything they have released and made it into one video. Good thing is I will be updating their line up every year as well so we could keep track of all the knockoff/third party kits released by Non Bandai Companies
@EnmaRyuzawa98 yes, all MG by Daban Model will be the 88XX but I think they rleased some variants of the 66XX series (color pallet changes), they usually name it 66XXA or 66XXS, but newly produced MG will be on 88XX series
@@HyperWeaponHobby I agree,the plastic quality alone is a improvement, it's a 7/10 if you compare it to bandai,it still maybe requirement to sand the pegs before attaching them,but it's minimal now,there still minor issues like pieces not connecting,but it can be remedied, I can't wait to finish this building this kit
Sanding pegs or widening holes are necessary adjustment that you have to incorporate when building bootlegs. If you made it past that, you'll get a unique kit that is even Different from what Bandai is giving us
GILMAG!!! GOD I LOVE MASTER GRADES If we're talkin' about master grades, might as well plug this guy in. Not in the list, but I love the MG Tallgeese for its silhouette, vibe, and overall simplicity of design and color scheme.
Sadly, all Tallgeese MG belong in the 66XX list but maybe Daban can make a Tallgeese Flugel for the 88XX series instead with updated details instead of just slapping Wing Zero's wing on it
I have a hunch the Tallgeese Flugel will come, Daban already has the assets for that, otherwise Supernova will beat them to it while they keep on beating us with more MG Unicorns 🤣🤣🤣

I've been patiently waiting on a properly scaled 1/100 Devil Gundam. I honestly don't care if it's done by Bandai or Daban at this point. But with the 8827 Wing Zero Snow White, I'm hoping they'll continue the 88XX line with the other Frozen Teardrop MS.

MG Astrea regardless if its the Type f or the normal is pretty b@da$$ ☺️. Being your first MG and a bootleg as well, Im guessing it really took a toll on your building experience. But regardless on what you have experoence, I bet that you wwre extremely satisfied when you seen it built for the first time and of course that in itself is something you can be proud of ☺️
Seems like a suckered for punishment... My 1st 144 was the rg astray, my 1st 100 was a bootleg astrea, at the rate I'm going if I ever get a pg it'll probably be some giant pain in the ass like the Daban perfectability. 😭
Well that's the catch, you can get a PG cheaper than what Bandai ia offering but you'll definitely need the extra paitence and skills to build that one. So I say go for the skills and patience, its free and will benefit you in the long term
The Daban Impulse is an 88XX series and somehow unique and Daban has modified them by their own standards. It eill definitely be harder yo find compatability with Bandai kits for it unlike when they released direct copies from Bandai.
Always test fit pegs and holes and joints ☺️. If its tight i sand it, file it or adjust it. It saves you from frustration. Bootleg kits are hardmode Gunplas 🤣

I honestly want to have destiny but beside the unknown release date, nowaday other Chinese company like motor nuclear has been showing their full potential in model kit market like aobong and caoren. My god I don't think I can hold on my wallet for this until September where Bandai will have a new RG Epyon
Indeed, an MB Destiny would be nice to have. The DM Destiny was the best so far that we have in terms of 3rd party kits but that kit is almost extinct and only a very few remains in the market. Daban should released that otherwise, motor nuclear and other uprising competitors may sweep the competions. RG Epyon will definitely be epic but I wanted an RG Wing Zero TV version as well ☺️
So I’m very very interested in 8803 double x if anyone reading this has built that kit specifically please feel free to share your experience with it. I’m 3months into building gunpla and I see the creator of this lovely video mentioned that Daban kits are, Bandai kits on hard mode. I acknowledge and accept this challenge I’m very ready for what’s to come I’ve heard daban isn’t the best with quality but that’s fine by me I love a challenge.
Yes, there have been some few MG grunt kits, most of them are zakus or some variant mono eyes though. You can check it out on my video list on bootleg master grades
I prefer the Daban kits, they have more details, less need to make additional scribe lines and adding detailing parts. Altho some parts need some modification like trimming etc etc its not that hard to do, it still looks better when done compared to my Bandai kits. for Daban kits, it is better to paint them first since some parts are a pain in the ass to disassemble

But if I recall correctly, Prime92 always have copies of these latest bootlegs ne it Daban or any Brand (although I think she lives in Canada). I think she get her kits at gundamcentral.com. That's one site i can assure you can get these kits and hoped it can also cover the delivery in your area

Hi I'm from Philippines as well. I usually procure Daban Model Kits online, particularly, in shopee or lazad but most at shopee. There are lots of awesome store over there such as hobbywang, hobby168, toysph, gundamph, and tchobby that still have a huge collections of available Gundam daban kits
The astray red frame is definitely a very popular kit. Just like Bandai, Daban Model is just reusing assets and just adding a few new parts. However, Daban had it easy with the development since Bandai has already done that for them 🤣🤣🤣
@@HyperWeaponHobby I'm actually partway through both builds but they are on hiatus, body and majority of weapons done just need to do the rest of the weapons!, they just have soo much! 8826 was my 1st bootleg kit, and its a challenging kit as you have to sand it alot and widen holes, I also made parts tighter that were loose and had to used metallic sharpies for the nubs, but I loved it!

Well, DM, Hobby Star and Daban Model released MG Exia Avalanche and each of their released are somewhat unique on its own way. The DM one though is rare and its fortunate to those who were able to get it

UAE has official distributors, so Bandai; bootlegs are unheard of in the region (except for the Asians that are hobbyists and happen to live in Middle Eastern countries). Regarding the other countries, they are following suit (getting things officially, no bootlegs). So no, unless someone decides to open a shop and sells both official and bootlegs, or only bootlegs - such can only happen whence the hobby itself is as big as it is in Japan and other Asian countries (which currently, it isn't)
Oh Im sorry about that, I assumed you were in south east asia. If Bandai is dominating the market in UAE, its a huge financial risks for China to distribute kits over there unless like you said if theres someone who are willing to open their shop to sell bootleg kits though. Southeast asia is the feasible market for bootleg kits, the logistics advantage due to distance, the buying capability of the demograph due to the economy of their countries and of course, the culture ofnthe fans that loved Gundams and yet cant afford to buy the legit product. If I were in UAE, theres no reason for me to get Knockoffs if Bandai is easily and economically available unless of course I would get those one of a kind unique kits that Daban release from time to time which of course i will buy it offshore. Daban is known for cool and awesome remodels but building was always the major flaw.
Yep, its Gunpla on hardmode 🤣🤣🤣. Its a medieval torture devifce but so satisfactory when you build it

I don't mind getting the skill but the patience is probably a lost cause, I barely have enough to finish painting my 144s 😒
My only complaint with the Daban Impulse is that the Silhouette packs are not compatible with the Eclipse and Bandai Outframe.

I got a Daban Tallgeese II and I am honestly scared a bit to build it as to panel line it with Gundam Fine tip Markers
Why are you scared to build it? So long as you know its Daban and you are prepare to make adjustments for the fitting issues then you'll be fine

66 series is the complete copy paste kits from bandai..

Well, DM, Hobby Star and Daban Model released MG Exia Avalanche and each of their released are somewhat unique on its own way. The DM one though is rare and its fortunate to those who were able to get it
When Dadan make part line, create mg mobile suit that Bandai never made, create mg as 2.0 and add something badass even equipment is better than Bandai.

I thought bootlegs are distributed equally in southeast asian countries? I mean we are near China, the country who made these kits so i thought acquiring these kits are easiee compare with other countries

So theres no distributors in your country? I dont spaek chinese but our local distributors are very much updated on bootleg kits and new releases
@@HyperWeaponHobby I'm Middle-Eastern; Gundam is, in comparison, at its peak of popularity in the UAE. UAE has official distributors, so Bandai; bootlegs are unheard of in the region (except for the Asians that are hobbyists and happen to live in Middle Eastern countries). Regarding the other countries, they are following suit (getting things officially, no bootlegs).
So no, unless someone decides to open a shop and sells both official and bootlegs, or only bootlegs - such can only happen whence the hobby itself is as big as it is in Japan and other Asian countries (which currently, it isn't)
Oh Im sorry about that, I assumed you were in south east asia. If Bandai is dominating the market in UAE, its a huge financial risks for China to distribute kits over there unless like you said if theres someone who are willing to open their shop to sell bootleg kits though. Southeast asia is the feasible market for bootleg kits, the logistics advantage due to distance, the buying capability of the demograph due to the economy of their countries and of course, the culture ofnthe fans that loved Gundams and yet cant afford to buy the legit product. If I were in UAE, theres no reason for me to get Knockoffs if Bandai is easily and economically available unless of course I would get those one of a kind unique kits that Daban release from time to time which of course i will buy it offshore. But thanks for the information regarding the status of Gunplas in UAE
