As a Mum of 24yr old daughter, eczema since she was six months, and still bad, I feel so angry that we weren't listened to. It affects our mental health too. I get your Mum ❤
I just want to say THANK YOU for your bravery in sharing your story. I am a mom who does extensive research on medications I give my daughter, but proceed to giving her steroids cream a few months ago after her pediatrician prescribed it, after watching your content, this will never happen again.
Hi, I also have eczema. the steroids are fine to use, as long as you don't use them longer than 2 weeks at a time. op's situation happened due to overuse of the medication. finding environmental triggers for the eczema are another way to help - for me I know certain soaps cause it to flare up compared to others.
This one hits hard. My beautiful 7 year old daughter has severe chronic ezcema. Been passed around dermatologist and topical steriods have always been their solution. Lots and lots of it. I have expressed my concerns over and over about tsw and steriods. I feel dismissed. Ive been working on changing our diet and making mostly everything from scratch at home, hoping that can help. Dupixent is next. Id do anything to take my daughters excema away. I have to admit i dont know what im doing. I dont have eczema. So i research and research. But i have to listen to the doctors and put trust in them. Im not the professional. I guess what im saying, is we are doing our best. Im terrified of doing it wrong. Of creating more pain in the future. Im positive your mom felt the same. I wish you both the brightest and healthiest future. Just as moms, we can feel really lost at times too. The last thing we would want is to hurt our children.
It reached this Mom ❤ My daughters have skin conditions that so far we haven't been prescribed topical steroids and I'm so glad I found this video before we've tried them. You have amazing strength and so does your mum. It's hard to describe as a parent how hard it also is to watch your children suffer and not be able to fix it. Blessings to you both. ❤❤
❤❤ my best friend in the whole world had this all over her entire body! I watched her suffer for so long! You will grow out of this I really hope you do ❤
Sometimes it gets so bad for me that I couldn’t stretch my hand….it came on my finger once and I couldn’t eat rice with my hand…I was an Indian I had to…so in the end I just never used my right ring finger, over time it healed and I could use it…so happy.
I'm almost 24, and doctors didn't help me. Dermatologists always say to use corticosteroids. They never really listen and they never know how to treat eczema. Anyway, since you're using Dupixent, I suggest you try eventually phototherapy. The best thing to do is not to use medicines imo. And mostly do long baths in the sea, and for many days. At least 2 weeks in a row. Use low solar protection. It worked for me now
I’m sorry to hear about your struggles with this. Has anyone suggested you look up the results of a carnivore diet? I’ve seen it do wonders for those suffering from eczema.
Eczema is often an indicator that something internally is off balance. You need to address what the root cause of your eczema flare ups. This could be things like environmental triggers (e.g. mold), stress (often overlooked but has huge influences), poor gut health etc. Everyone has different root causes and there could be more than one. My suggestion is to seek guidance from a naturopath/dietician to help with this!x
This bothers me immensely because they just tried to put my wife on this medication for tiny eczema flare-ups before discussing at all with her any other form of treatment or methods to assist when she has an outbreak, and they damn well never said anything about tsw, it's well-known now they have no excuse to keep prescribing this to people without giving them fair warning of what can happen.
Hey, as per your condition .... pls once try ayurvedic treatment in india... pls once you visit india and have panchkarma therapy along with medications... any bams practitioner of india can help you out... lots of love to you dear...
I completely understand when I was born they took me immediately to the nicu. that's when they noticed that I had red stuff on my skin. So the needed a blood test. The also got a dermatologist. That's when they diagnosed me with Eczema. So Remi I understand

Thank God you were mature enough to not be selfish and blame your mom for something that any intelligent parent would have done, they would have put their child on medication prescribed by proper doctors, it's just so immature to try and pass any amount of human blame on the Mom it's literally not her fault whatsoever and it's just immature and childish to try and point fingers at her

I have eczema and I've started taking large amounts of Vitamin D and its helped my eczema TREMENDOUSLY!
Facts. I used a natural lotion called renew. Worked like magic.
I'm so sorry you had to go through that. ❤
Try meat-heavy keto or even carnivore. Sounds crazy but can really help with issues like this.

Oatmeal made with rice starch water. Red light therapy helps too.
