Mambo X_Building Bridges & Bombing Them

This is a video by a band that deserves to be remembered - Mambo X. Hailing from Albany, NY and active between 1984-1989, the core band members: vocalist Erin O'Hara and guitarists Seth Kaufman and Mitch Rozen played and entertained with a fiery mixture of African-influenced dance music, pop stylings and, thanks to Ms. O'Hara, a lyrical content that combined social, political and religious viewpoints. This is from their self-produced EP, Machines of Eden. Their fist and only full LP, Whirled, was produced by Mitch Easter.
