I'll say this, Clayton's death was very haunting for me when I saw this movie. In fact the gorilla baby also dying was messed up. Actually this movie was pretty messed up.
Well I thought both scenes were well done.

Tbh, Fox and the Hound made me just as emotionally invested as Lion King. 101 Dalmatians and Aristocats were both fun. Basically, if the main character was an animal and not a princess, I was hooked.

Aristocats is one of my favorite Disney movies, the same stands for me on Atlantis.
the fox and the hound is a fantastic movie and probably one of the only disney films with a genuinely bittersweet ending
todd and copper never get to go back to what they used to be and they both have to go their separate ways. the window never sees todd again and he presumably can never visit her in turn

My parents had to play with me because i loved this game, but the game over screens terrified me as a kid

My favorite part of the movie was when you could see the shadow of Clayton's lifeless corpse, dangling. He wronged the jungle, so the jungle took his life, it was poetically dark.
Why can't Disney do extremely dark stuff like that anymore?
I'd love to see that! I think they've sanitized their image to be as safely marketable as possible as of late.
It wouldn't be for kids.
I grew up on dark Disney. It taught me on how dark the world is. People are too sheltered. America may be the strongest but we're also pretty dumb.

Man like I say when I go here, this is just pure nostalgia, man. No one can ever compare the feelings you get from hearing that PS1 Intro, and remembering your childhood, and the good times. Still glad I still have mine and play on my PS1, and play till this day. Nothing will ever be like this, how I wish I could go back to the good old days. Take in next week on Tuesday the 19th of April, I'll be 20 for my birthday. How time flies honestly. Like literally hearing that chime, and sound it would make while loading up, with that iconic logo, and startup screen, and then hearing this game and movie's iconic soundtrack intro made by one of my favorite singers. What a throwback this is, and games todays don't hit like these games did. I'll never forget the final scene, or the stampede, and even fighting the leopard and what a throwback. Glad to still have my copy still, and my PS1, but if I could go back in time, I'd relive these memories, and this has to be my favorite game, movie, and soundtrack. I know for many this carried as well their childhoods, what a time it was again, for everyone that had a chance to experience this. As I write this, I was literally just playing this iconic game, trying to relive it. Man.

I still like the game despite of its flaws...and...some of it set me into a rage, like the bridge from "Journey to the Treehouse". that shit pisses me off....and Clayton? he was hard to beat at first, but all you have to do is jump, duck, throw, and repeat...and you can slow him down by throwing fruit at him while going up the top to buy you some time.
I respect your opinion, Caddy, no hate, but I still like the game

I had this game on PC when I was a kid. I loved it back then. It gives me nostalgia seeing this game again.
The game of my childhood
I played this game at a friends house when I was a kid on her computer and the game had no music, just the ambiental jungle sounds, the SFX and the voices, which turned it into nostalgic memories for me, so pretty much, i love this game.

I actually really, really liked this game as a kid. The only part I remember hating is indeed that bridge part in the treehouse level.
Every now and then I take a few months break and then watch another video from Caddy. His hairstyles keep me guessing.
Funny, I was playing this just a few days ago for the first time, those log sliding sections were like being strapped to a desk chair, spun around and continuously slapped...

Lol, I actually played this all the way through a ton as a kid and remember loving it. Kind of a surprise to see this, but looking back at the first few times I played this..yeah, I can see why. I think I got used to some of the BS and just ignored it because it was one of the few games besides the amazing Quake 3.

Wait Fantasia is in the category no one talks about? Really? Cos in my experience no one shuts up about it when it comes to break through films.
Side note this is not a complaint about the quality of Fantasia. I love the film and the animation and music are superb but it is a hell of a horse to keep flogging if you're having a conversation about progressive cinema.
Also Pocahontas is in that renaissance group but not The Little Mermaid?
I feel the same. I appreciate all the hard work in it but it's so boring in my opinion. I only can get through the Sorcerer's Apprentice part.

Hercules is the Roman one. But the name just stuck in pop culture.
They were just referencing the JonTron video (BTW it's "coconut weapon").
A lot of wrong things about Herakles are in pop culture for some reason. The only really consistent attribute I see is "he's super strong" and "Zeus is his dad".
I loved this game when I was a kid, even before I watched the movie.
However, I was a very young child and had no concept of bad controls, level design etc.

Oh my gosh, I actually had a demo of this game on my PS1 and I ADORED it. Since I was just a little bugger at the time, I would just run around and throw fruits everywhere. Good times.

I have to admit the reason why Tarzan is one of my most memorable Disney films is because of the songs. And because of that, Phil Collins became one of my favourite singers ever. You'll Be In My Heart is still one of my favourite songs to date. ^_^
