It’s such a crazy world. Millennial Pinx is one of my faves from last year. Mariposa is a lovely palette I picked up last year, too. They’re my first dip into Melt and not disappointed. It’s good to re-assess our collections. I’m going through my lippie collection and mad at (myself) for the barely used items I’m throwing out due to age.
Omg girl same about tossing items!!!!!! So I love the millennial pinx color story so much! There is no way I’m getting rid of it. It just needed a little tune up! And omg mariposas is so gorgeous!
I love your concept of replacing some of the shadows in palettes with singles. I started doing this because I learned it from you. Since I’m more likely to pick up a palette than my singles it really helps me use what I have. ❤❤❤
I thought I was the only one who switched out shades in palettes… You made some good choices. Love to see you playing in your make up. This was so fun!
I'm loving this new declutter series and the color stories you came up with for your recreated Melt palettes! I also appreciate you showing your process of repressing the shadows with your audience. On to the ND video.
Cara you just blew my mind! I didn’t know those melt pans popped out. I was going to declutter ♊️2 because it’s a disjointed color story but this is going to allow me to give it another shot. Thank you, this was so helpful ❤
This was amazing! I loved seeing you go through the whole process of deciding which shades to change, which shade to replace them with, and how you do the replacement. I've been hoping you would show the details for a long time ever since you said you revamped some palettes. Loving the overhead setup!
Very interesting watching you mix and mach the shades to get the color palette you want. This video inspires me to be more creative with palettes I don't use enough.
I love my MELT palettes but I agree with you on the shimmers..I make them work but yea there are other indie brands out there that don't have to make us work so hard. For the smoke sessions palette I agree with you 100 percent on those shimmers. Too crumbly as I put them on.
Thanks so much for sharing! I’m glad it’s not just me! It’s almost worth just duping the vibes! I really do love my melt palettes but they are like stubborn children!
This was a very inspiring video. I decided to watch because I know Melt has magnetic pans and I’ve been thinking of rearranging my Gemini and Gemini II , which I tend to use in tandem anyway, to get rid of the shades that are too close together (those pinky/rosey ones especially). I hadn’t thought about de-potting other shades from singles or other less used palettes as well. I’m going to think about how I can get more creative with my palettes now. Thanks for opening my eyes to more possibilities for using the palettes I already own to get personalized palettes that work better for my tastes.
Hi!!!! I’m glad you liked this video!!!! I know it can be a lot to do all of the extra work, but I think you will be so much happier with your palettes after you do! Thank you again!
Two shimmers in Brunet came shattered and it was sold out in stores so I took a lesson from you and repressed them. They’re still holding up :) I have several palettes that I set aside to switch out a few of the shades, too.
I just got the 420 pallets in there with her mystery box for 2022. I have not used it yet I’m still deciding on whether in and going to keep it or not. I have not even slashed it yet because I’m really unsure of what I’m gonna do with it because of the reviews that I’ve heard
So I got the Gemini two pallet And I wish that I would’ve gotten the first one. The second one is not it like the looks that you create definitely mine similar and yes I do tend to pull it out and use it with other pallets.
Omgoodness this is such a great idea and I never thought it was this easy to do.. I'm gonna try this with singles from Mac that I have when I started wearing makeup. Let me know where you got that tool from to remove the pans so I can get rid of any crumbly glittery shades cause I hate that texture and thanks for showing.. I'm gonna love this project
I am quite sure your blueprint one went bad, maybe humidity got into it? I live in Las Vegas and my blueprint still holds up well after two years I’ve had it, including the king stud shade (cobalt blue shimmer). I was shocked to see the amount you had to lather on to get any sort of colour payoff, I had to pull out all the melt palettes to check they were still good! Edit: Ruby Spar from the millennial pinx is absolutely the worst eyeshadow I have ever tried in my life, I really want to try replacing that shadow like you!
Hi there!!!!!!! I agree. It’s a true reminder that makeup does expire!!! The neutrals were still pretty good but yeah the king stud shade made me sad because it’s a beautiful blue! And omg I’m so glad it wasn’t just me with Ruby Spar!!!! That color story is so great it was worth replacing!
You know what soooo true! I think things will be different this year! It was mainly getting caught up in the color stories! But it is a lot of work! Im the future you know I’m looking for ease and this isn’t it. It is kind of fun to change out the colors though!

Omg YAY! This really made my day! I’m not sure how I knew it myself now that I think of it but I did!!!!!

She’s in Parties is my favorite Melt palette. But, I LOVE purple eyeshadow so, no surprise there!
It’s a nice story!!!

Hi :) I did not know that melt palettes are magnetic. Blew my mind^^ Thanks for this!
Omg yesssss! Anytime💯!
I decluttered BluePrint .
She’s in party is on my wishlist
She’s in parties is pretty good. Not sure what it is about their lighter shimmers!
Two shimmers in Brunet came shattered and it was sold out in stores so I took a lesson from you and repressed them. They’re still holding up :) I have several palettes that I set aside to switch out a few of the shades, too.
I’m sorry to hear that! I’m so glad you were able to repress them though!!!!!!
@@BeautyAndTheFrizz You gave me the courage. And I just watched the rest of the video and really enjoyed the shadows you chose for Pinx 💕

Yeah the color story is so good but the performance really isn’t the best!
So I got the Gemini two pallet And I wish that I would’ve gotten the first one. The second one is not it like the looks that you create definitely mine similar and yes I do tend to pull it out and use it with other pallets.
It was so disappointing!!!!!! It needs to still be on the chopping block but I’m going to see how I like it with the new shimmer!
@@BeautyAndTheFrizz I like what you switched it out with
I loved this video. I love to see you switch things around so it works better for you. Have you used any of the reconstructed palettes yet?!

Here it is!!! rstyle.me/+iuAG_whBN9uqQN5OrwdEfQ It’s a great little tool!!!!
Thank you it's in my Amazon cart

Great video! I only own two palettes from Melt but I enjoyed watching you tweak the palettes to make them work for you ❤
Which ones do you have? And thank you!
Can you do that with matte shades? They never seem to stick in the new pan as well.
No I have not found the trick with mattes!
💜💜💖
Watching your vids on melt palettes and all the work you have to do to “fix them”, I’m surprised you keep buying them.

Hi Ms. Cara.. Wipes darling please.. 😀😀😀
Lol !
I'm pale as a ghost and I despise the light shimmers from melt. I'd prefer to have a shade less....
Totally agree!!
