I think you got the Y2K early 2000s trend mixed up with the 90s, I was wearing cool toned browns, I was grunge.

This was surprisingly easy, mainly because my priority list has gotten much shorter. VIP: Cosmic Brushes, Nomad, and Unearthly. I could limit my eyeshadows to just these three brands and be just fine. Danessa Myricks for complexion products and she has good sales. General admission: Lethal, Adept, Blend Bunny, and Glamlite. Lethal came back on the map after the Avatar collection. Adept is great for when I want neutral with a twist. I love BB and Glamlite but I need them to slow down and the releases and curate the palettes better. I would love to move them to VIP but they might fall to the watch list. Watchlist: Belle Beaute Bar, Gourmande Girl, Klarity, Huda, and Ensley Reigns. I will no longer buy quads or six pans, “companion’ palettes, or mystery boxes. I got burned with Made by Mitchell and Dede’s Signature so I won’t be trying any new brands this year

I love a great sale! Now I need to get Melt's Smoke Sessions II palette because I love purples. I also have my eye on their Highlighters

Ravens for the win!!! Next up Buffalo. Definitely Natasha, Danessa, and Cosmic Brushes. Still watching Patrick Ta, Mario, Blend Bunny, Adept and maybe Glaminatrix.

My melt pot liner from last Memorial Day is maybe drying out. I liked it at first but I think it is not worth the effort for me 😢

I don't have any brand in particular as a priority, but my main focus will be indie and black-owned beauty brands.

I think my priority brands are just Unearthly and Natasha this year. And I haven't even bought their newer releases yet. I have so many palettes, some of which I've never used. This year is going to a year of working thru as many of my palettes as I can and potentially decluttering as I go. Not really project panning, more like a full collection rotating rounds of testing. A lot of categories are overflowing for me. Looking to replace my shopping habits with better more healthy ones 😅

Minus the drama I loved all my Ensley reign palettes. I would include them along with Nomad, Simply Posh, and Blend Bunny as my favorite eyeshadow palette brands. I’m semi interested in Dedes Signature.

I've had a makeup attitude lately. I've unsubbed from a ton of creators and I'm just done with the drama. My priority brands are Nomad, Natasha Denona, Pat McGrath, Fantasy Cosmetica, and i think that's it. But I'm still watching Ensley Reign, Cosmic Brushes, Simply Posh, Melt, Makeup By Mario, and a few others (can't think of them lol), oh and Adept lol. The rest will just have to wait for a palette or product i just have to have. But I'm not buying everything even from Priority brands. There for awhile i was buying every palette that came out. 😂 And now I'm not. I've found some smaller creators to sub to do I'm not watching creators promote a palette they use once alone side 3or more other palettes, tell us how great they are and give us a code. I'm watching creators that actually have something to say and content with meaning (which is why i watch you lol). I'm over the new new new.... brands and creators have made enough off of me, I'm taking control of my makeup back. 😅😂😂 So yeah, that's where my makeup journey is at. 😂😂😂

Love Nomads new color story but I’ve also liked the last 3 releases from them and because they been back to back I’ve lost interest. The travel palettes don’t bother me, but they had 6 new large palettes last year not including re-releases. Since they use influencers for promotion, it’s hard to get a real detailed review with that many palettes especially back to back. Dexter release reminds me of the Bailey Sarian Melt release without the gold. I’ve noticed that all the release.

I love the Nomad palette, but my rule this year is no buying any type of cosmetics unless it's on sale (or I actually run out of something, such as mascara). I've already started a Black Friday list and that palette's at the top.

The CP twilight and new moon palette still speak to me, but I’m really trying to only buy things I’ll use long term. Maybe towards the middle of the year or a summer sale.

I like that New Moon palette, but--- not buying shadows/palettes. Dead Roses is also gorgeous.

I do like the new simply posh but I'm just not into buying ANYTHING without a deep discount anymore lol. That new blend bunny is so meh. They have pink in almost every palette anyway. I like the smaller size tho

For me, the pink Blend Bunny palette isn't pink enough for me, haha.

I agree that the twilight palette is cute and Colourpop has some bangers. Their mattes are good. Your ravens setup is a vibe. Rooting for the ravens because of you lol. I was excited about the blend bunny sneak peak but I don’t like the color story. I’m safe safe but Char’s contour extension got me like 👀

I wasn't a fan of the nearly natural palette. I love the color story but the mattes need a lot of work no matter what shades I used I still create the same muddy look also the shimmers have almost no base to them so while they swatch nicely when you put them on the eyes every shade that has the high glitter formula all look the same and most of the shades have that formula. This palette turned me off from buying anything else from Glaminatrix

I'm trying to be very particular on what I add. I was a total Twihard back in the day, but can't really sit through the movies now. 😅😂 Because it's so nostalgic I do hope Colourpop does a palette for every movie, and I will buy them all. 😂 I'll also be picking up the Nomad palette. The rest I'm planning to pass on. I have the original Nearly Natural palette and I have some issues.... 1. Glaminatrix pan sizes got smaller but their pricing went higher and 2. I'm so tired of brands redoing old palettes and making it just different enough that people who have the original still feel the need buy the new one. Like, just do a new palette. and 3. The high pricing plus the high shipping just makes it a no from me. Those 6-pans they did were way overpriced and then add in shipping and smaller pans sizes... Just no. I do kind of want to try a YSL blush, but until I do something with the 200 blushes I already have and don't use lol, I'm not letting myself buy more. 😂

I have also been using my Tiny Marvels. It is my pan that palette this year. Amber F is panning the Tiny Marvels, so some of us have joined her, my goal is to just get pans showing in it. I love Sidney Grace eyeshadows and use my singles a lot.

I’m safe this round as far as makeup goes, but I’m trying to talk myself out of some fragrance buys. I really like my makeup collection at this point, but I want to explore some of these new fragrances

Cara, The new Blends is a no for me, and I don't even like the theme too, just not into it. I had to throw away my 2 Patrick Ta eyeshadow palettes and a blush, so I will never buy from that brand again. I am still on my lowbuy and already bought two Dramo eyeshadow palettes, and one was limited. I have the Nearly Natural from Glamanatrix and never use it, and I do not use any of the 3 palettes I have from the brand, so no. The only eyeshadow palettes on the wishlist are CP New Moon and Ensley Reign's Light in your eyes. I still use Colourpop eyeshadows and still enjoy the formula.
