Honestly I have been thinking the same thing about ND on the nude train. But I of course bought it bcc I buy everything ND. She should have named it Nude Peach. I absolutely love this ND palette more than her latest release, probably bc I own the original Gold Palette and I prefer the original for the pops of green and blue shimmers.

Since you’re getting into the drugstore world, for brushes, I’ve had my elf & wet n wild brushes for YEARS! Since the beginning of my makeup journey (10 years now) & the brushes barely wavered! Wet n wild holds up better than 10 year old elf tbh tho. Talking about drugstore… nyx always catches me off guard & idk why either 😩 fave drugstore brand is maybelline but i love nyx’s glosses & i just got the concealer too! As a powder, no liquid/creams person.. i enjoy it! We need to give em their credit! Altho i heard the eyeshadows are not as great as the rest of the brand. Also, i do my own pedi every two weeks (can push to 3 sometimes) and i dont do manis bcus they need more attention/touch ups and they scream for it in your face daily lol but i also dont do gel on my nails.. a clear, nourishing polish on my natural nails has been a nice clean look for me.

I like the palette. If one of those green shimmers were a light purple and one of those 2 light blues were deep dark purple, it would almost be my perfect palette lol. It'sBel makes cute palettes.

Kulfi turned into one of my top brands for 2024 because their products are frickin' workhorses, so I'm excited for the shade extension of the cream eyeshadows. Speaking of eyeshadows, I won the Fuji palette in the Nomad guessing game on Facebook and it's everything! Likely would have picked it up during the Black Friday sale but so happy to have it now. One of their best palettes, IMO. Pairs beautifully with Ghost Town and Hudson Valley. Demeter fragrances are not long-lasting but they are fun. I've had Play-Doh in my collection, off and on, since it was first released years ago. My faves are still Tomato, Grass, and Dirt, followed by Laundromat, Rain, and Pure Soap. If you like to mix scents, Demeter is perfect for that, and they run great sales and have minis. Picked up the Dior stick on Wednesday. I find it finicky with my skincare so need to keep experimenting. That blasted Charlotte Tilbury stick turned out to be lovely on my dry-ass skin, though. Want all four Singe blushes. Must resist. For now. 😅

Cara, don’t let curiosity get you with the new Patrick Ta foundation. 1. It’s $68 - a luxury price point for “makeup artist” makeup that tends to lean towards editorial rather than practical 2. His cream compact foundation was poorly reviewed by most 3. Patrick Ta is just coming off a huge L with that flypaper highlighter duo 4. You don’t even wear foundation like that in the warmer months 5. The LYS at $28 sounds a lot better to me 6. You just got the NYX serum concealer which is amazing for all over the face 7. There aren’t even reviews up yet. Don’t be the guinea pig and spend a whole bunch of money on who knows what. 8. How many open foundations that you already own are you working through right now? 🩶🩶🩶

What I like most about your channel is that you simply love the makeup in your collection. I feel like many channels lately come across as feeling apologetic or guilty about enjoying what they have. I can't pick a favorite look!

I like this palette, but I wish it had one or two deeper shades. I don't mind reaching into another palette, but it would be convenient. Cuz I'm lazy. I was actually thinking about putting together a Z-Palette of singles to just leave on my desk at all times. Like just a few really light inner corner and Blending out shades and a few shades that would work universally as a deepening shades (like a black, a deep brown, a deep red, forest green, and a deep blue... something like that. Then it's there for my many palettes that are just missing one or two lol. Really I'm trying to find a way to get use it if my singles, but it feels like a good idea. 😂 Eta and a really dark burnt orange. 😂
