Technically he was in the intersection on Yellow but yes, Karma bit him in the ass for speeding to make it.

Attempted carjacking... happened to me, I slowly kept driving at 10kmh and ran into them... they ran away.

Hmmm Attempted carjacking ... I'm hoping here that the DC'r called/notified the police. It might've been either an emergency or carjacking - BUT either way the police should be notified! It's not like the DC'r didn't know where it was (had nav going) !
I doubt an "emergency" would jump out from behind a van , stand in the middle of the road, shine the driver in the eyes with the torch or chase the driver all the way down the street. I also doubt it would be safe stopping to assist when they had have what looked like a giant screwdriver or knife whilst approaching the driver. It's hard to see in the video, but the guy had a bit of a crazy look to him.
When the driver reversed into the driveway and pulled back out, the guy on foot was only about 10 - 15 metres away (and still approaching) hence why the driver accelerated away promptly and around the corner like that.
And yes, the police were notified about 6 minutes later once he was clear of the scene and pulled over somewhere safely.
Time saved running a red light - 30 seconds.
Disobey red light ticket - $400.
Rolling $500K of truck and trailer - priceless.

There's a couple clips here that i wonder why you let through. One of a dc that had to slow for cyclists who cut across the intersection. Another where a truck pulled across to turn right in front of dc. In both cases, all that happened was they were forced to slow down for a couple seconds.
If you deem that worthy of an upload, you might as well have uploaded to Scotts Car Cameras, he loves that petty shite.
The cyclists running the first red (where there was zero traffic impacted) - fair call mate. But them blindly running the second red and impeding traffic - it needs to be shown. I hope that couple sees the video and reads my comment - because they tried to nominate themselves for a darwin award right there with the second half of the clip.
At the end of the day this 'space' is a place where followers can upload videos of drivers, pedestrians, cyclists whoever doing things wrong or unlawful on our roads (and some unusual things) I get it, some clips are not as appealing to watch as other incidents but nevertheless are illegal or disrespectful to other road users, and as a self proclaimed advocate for road safety i like to think we try to get a decent message out there. The truck (without timestamp reference you refer too) i take it was the truck that pulled out at the roundabout failing to giveway then turning right from the left lane? Now, everyone has a responsibility to abide by the road rules! If all drivers just had to slowdown for a 'few seconds' at each intersection then we have mayhem - dont we? Have a think about what you said . . . .
The guy with the knife... the correct response (and community service) is to go "Oh he came at me with a weapon and I freaked out and floored it to try and escape, then he stepped IN FRONT of me!! I didn't mean to run him over, who steps in front of a moving car??" problem solved, remove camera from car so they don't realise you have one.

Most of the drivers and the sub’d footage should have their licenses revoked, as a driver on the roads I’m looking 1 km ahead, for people pulling out, and slow down if they aren’t up to speed not blasting my horn from 800m, it’s called being aware of your surroundings.. wake up people, if you see danger and can avoid it, please do..
