I love Aussie dashcam videos, the commentary of the OP's is priceless, jeeze you Aussies are great at swearing. Also, what about those two videos back to back, first one with the road safety ad about speeding on the radio, second with the song about cops coming for you. Talk about serendipitous!
2:56 I didn't see anything wrong with this, is it because the red car changed lane too close to the truck? (Nvm I found it, changed lane without blinkers)
I was wondering same thing. I'm learning to drive and a couple where I had to check and stuff. Was about to comment exactly that, so hard to see in the light
7:00 that 40zone was there for like 5 years and people just went whatever speed they wanted. I used to live right there in Marion and people would get upset if you were doing the speed limit.
I used to do 80 because meh. I have eyes though and can see police, unlike the guy in the video who didn't see them following him. It was 40 for all the dummies who can't drive. Hence the reason it was 60 for so long before going to 80...
Man try the variable speed limits on the Bruce Highway... Do 60 where it says to I promise you'll get flashed or worse. Sux as a learner. Then you figure out to just do the same speed everyone else is doing, if you get pulled over you can explain you were afraid of being a hazard and getting rear ended and just driving to the conditions
40kmh fake road works are the driving curse of australia. Everyone needs to do 40 because all the signs have gone out and tomorrow someone might or might not be mowing the lawn.
I always just did 40 there if that's what the limit was, if any prick behind me wanted to throw a tantrum because I don't want to get a fine and lose points then that's their bloody problem. Really didn't notice all that many people who were bothered though.
Driving through a red light after a cop walking on the road, walks past your car. That's as dumb as me on my P's seeing a guy up ahead get flashed, then accelerating towards the camera.
I always picture the cop walking up to the driver and saying, "Sir, you are not getting a ticket for running a red light, you are getting one for being dumb as a post."
@@Marianna_K_ I think it's just an overall joke about how you always see places that you think you know but then realise it's not them, it happens to me all the time with these videos
Not sure which ones you're referring to, but some of the less obvious were: 1:22 Sounds like the cam car driver mentions he was on a phone (hard to see where the solid line starts so unclear if that was the issue; while the lane change was significantly less aggressive than I see daily on my commute - not really worth a horn given such can trigger road rage in some). 2:17 Car in the distance laying down quite a bit of rubber and smoke. 2:32 I'm guessing speeding/excessive noise (squealing tires), unless he also did something before coming into shot (quite possible). 2:57 Changed lanes without indicating. 3:27 Speeding and/or no indicating. Most likely the former given the distances involved. 5:05 I'm guessing on a phone. He wasn't indicating, but given he's in a turning only lane that's rather clutching for technical breaches if it was only that. 5:24 Illegal u-turn at the traffic lights ahead.
Jeff well that’s the RRP but Mercedes always discount a bit. It would have to be the only one at that price though, the next closest being maybe a Megane Tropjy RS R at $75-80k. Both those are the fully worked sports division cars and fairly rarefied - the average hot hatch is more $50-60k and offers a lot of performance and practicality for the money. Also not only driven by the stereotype alluded to in this thread...just as many middle aged white guys (and some girls) from what I see.
Can someone explain to me why the red car at 2:55 got pulled over? Also doesn't the Australian law state that police cars are only allow to speed when their lights are on?
@@Elyeyefrancisco well they did poach top designers from BMW and Audi some years ago. As a stinger owner though, I’m not complaining - bloody great car
And when he pulled up next to him after the cop stopped the guy and called him a fucking idiot like that wasn't necessary. He literally stopped in the middle of the road just to do that. The guy shouldn't have been on his phone yes, but the driver should've just let the trained police officer take care of it. Shit like that can just get you in trouble.
@Phillip Oliver Holtz I'm not trying to justify his actions, just saying that there is a reason. Part of the problem is that people just get a ticket and they blame the cops, it doesn't cross their mind that other road users disapprove of their actions. It's the social disapproval that keeps people in line, not the fine. Just look at how cancel culture is making people afraid to speak their minds. We need to find a way to let these fools know that the law isn't there to raise money. Not only is the action illegal, but generally disapproved of as well.
@@Auselesspileofflesh yeah, and?? I could understand his belligerence if the guy had absent-mindedly caused some kind of incident (and obviously people shouldn't be on their phones while driving), but to pull up next to him and make a a dick out of yourself like he did was completely uncalled for. twats like this always act as if they've never done any wrong, and they seem to feel that it's their duty to call out everyone else's mistakes...like I said, a self-righteous clown.
@@superflea72 Doesnt matter if the guy was a clown or if he was respectful - the guy was still in the right, and the other car cut him off (which is illegal) and was on his phone (which is also illegal) and in the end, thats all that matters in the end, he is still right. More-over, you can see the video cut - which probably meant that the guy stopped to tell the cop he cut him off in order to add to the guys offences - he is a witness with dashcam footage - clown or not, he has the law and being correct, on his side. It shouldnt matter if he was a clown - the other driver could have killed someone - THATS why its illegal.
@@Pepingco so you're one of those people...being RIGHT is all that matters in any given situation? just like necessity is the mother of invention, focussing only on being right is the mother of self-righteousness (and dick moves). I didn't see anyone getting "cut off" as you call it - the video clearly shows that there was plenty of room for the phone guy to move in, and as for pulling up to report an issue, why would anyone (other than a self-righteous prick-with-ears) feel the need to pull up next to a copper to report extra issues when the cop is clearly already grabbing him/her for being on the phone? reporting relevant issues to the Police is fine - being an arrogant tool is not. 😩
Studio|Graham yeah I see where your coming from. your right it was a touch close for liking but he was still accelerating and there was plenty of room until the next car and the road was clear ahead of them. He was doing the right thing by pulling into the not overtaking lane? I just think it’s a tad harsh by that Coppa🤔
Yeah I was gonna ask the same thing. Maybe the camera just makes the red car seem further away than it really is... Plus the speed was only around 40kmh... if it were 100kmh that’s an entirely different story...
@@MrQuackcorn Agree that's the law, but it's still poor driving practice and rude to boot. Cops should have pulled over a few of these cammers and gave them a lecture about good driving practice. Also I think one was a 100 zone.
I think it would be really helpful if you let us know why the pull-over. Some, like running a red light, are obvious to everyone (I hope).
He was overtaking a heavy rig truck unsafely. This manoeuvre is a common cause of truck accidents some being critical and are taken very seriously.

What's that?
And then a Kia Sorento!
Cops are now crashing faster then they were before as they still can't drive.

1:54 is by far one of my favourite vids ive seen on this channel lmao after he tells off the driver as he takes off😂
I could watch this for hours, love it.
Some of them in the beginning I didn't see why they were stopped. Must be missing something.
Not sure which ones you're referring to, but some of the less obvious were:
1:22 Sounds like the cam car driver mentions he was on a phone (hard to see where the solid line starts so unclear if that was the issue; while the lane change was significantly less aggressive than I see daily on my commute - not really worth a horn given such can trigger road rage in some).
Yeah the mustang that was already pulled over without seeing what for, all the others were pretty clear

Great compilation. I particularly like the clip where the radio is talking about speeding and someone speeds past.
was the beep at 1:22 purely because the guy was on his phone? I dont mind the lane change there, plenty of room
@@jblac201 True. But it also lets the dickhead know that it isn't just the cops pulling him over, the general public disapproves of his actions too.
Also remember wide angle lenses make everything look further away than it is
Are you serious? You don't speed up in front of someone and just cut them off like that.... Distance or not it's a dick move.
1:09 now that's proper Ozzy-talk hahaha
*Smooth-brain talk.
that guy at 01:22 was a bit of a self-righteous clown...oooh, someone pulled in front of you with tons of room to spare - you poor little precious!
He was on his phone

2:57 , what was the red car doing wrong ? He pulled in a touch close to the truck but he wasn’t doing anything illegal or was he?
Overtake the truck too close. That truck would’ve crushed that little care if they had had to brake suddenly.

Love the radio talk fast forward, and glad they got the sleeping driver 😱
I think it would be really helpful if you let us know why the pull-over. Some, like running a red light, are obvious to everyone (I hope). But because traffic laws are different from country to country, and in some cases state to state/province to province, other infractions might not be quite so obvious.
It's hard to tell why they're getting pulled over sometimes
Violent Rainbow for most cases its extremely obvious, maybe you need a read up on the laws champ?
