I’ll have to admit that Giant did a great job on my BB and it’s really fast to change out. I had a custom Chris King wheelset built for me over the Winter for road training (GP5000 AS TR 700x35) and I can see myself eventually building a dedicated road bike. I’ve been perusing endurance oriented framesets or road performance with 34 or 35mm of tire clearance.
@@petersouthernboy6327 Great stuff right there Peter!
A real win from winspace on this one. Simplicity as a key feature just classic smooth lines. 👌
Idk why Winspace themselves is comparing it to SL8 when it really looks like an Aethos. Version 3 looks a lot better though
SL6
Windspace sponsored you with a frame and wheels back then?!
Winspace only sponsors professional race teams. I'm a bike reviewer so they sent me a frame/wheels...to review 🤣
Do they measure the stems middle to middle or end to end?
From the top cap bolt to the imaginary center point on the tops. A stand-alone stem is typically measured to where the face plate fastens to the stem. There's usually at least a 10mm difference.
@@PatrickLino you mean the combo is shorter?
ok longer…😂
U have more bikes than the bike depot .. 😂
Literally no different than any other bike reviewer on RUclips lol
@@PatrickLino [prolific]
no rims (((
Financially I understand why Winspace made this decision. Little to no demand for rim brake. But it's still sad haha
Have they got UCI approval on this one?
@@andrewhall127 that's just a formality, this isn't any kind of weird shape.
@@galenkehler i wonder why they do it for the T-1500 and not the SLC series? tbh its what has put me off buying one.
@@andrewhall127 There are currently UCI-approved Chinese frames on the market that are visually pretty crappy in the quality department.
@@PatrickLino I don't think the UCi sticker is about quality. But more to do with meeting the double triangle and tube shape requirements.
@@DanTuber UCI approval requires structural testing documentation.
Sir, embrace the baldness! No need to hide half your head!. If you are ashamed, use a hat and show your full face. Is weird to watch a video where half your head is missing.. Just saying.
I forgive you for being new to my channel, if you truly believe thats why my head is partially cut off.
Speculation & prediction, not facts: it’s gonna ride like a Tarmac SL6. Probably weighs around one too.
@@ariffau I like the way you think.
@@PatrickLino haha these 2024/2025 Chinese products have a tendency to that. They are not bad. But they are top name brands’ product a gen or two ago. Chinese wheels being an exception.
