I always stay to the very end. I’m the cream of the crop lol I watch all day and I can’t comment it doesn’t let you on Xbox one? I have to grab my iPhone to message you. I’m in a wheelchair and I been into the hobby just crawling and drifting only cuz of the wheelchair it’s ruined my life lol ✌️love you buddy and your channel
I bought a 3800 kv slate motor and mamba x combo when the slate motors first came out. I've been running the 1500zee "graphine" battery's lately, they definitely have the punch.
2850 system is what my trx4 sport has in it . and i do love how good it drives with the setup on 3 s lipo runs . It does good to on 2 s lipo batteries , but i like 3 s for normal trail running , some time i will try out a 4 s lipo in mine.
I would love metal track cleats for the traxx, I have 3d printed a few prototypes that work. I'm having troubles finding a reliable way to keep the individual cleats joined together. I think the way to go would be to have them injection molded with threaded inserts, like rctestflight made for his snowcat.
Cool video. Have you ever used the wheels and tires on the Traxx? Is that the normal height chassis or does it have a high lift kit on it? Do you think the wheelbase conversion would be a plus to keep it from rolling over when it’s inclined at steeper angles? Please share when you can .Thank you for your time and reply. 😎👍🏼
2 speed transmission kit is my favorite mod for my sport. You mentioned trail driving with the traxx, and I’d really be interested in you testing what motor combos would be most ideal to keep temperatures in check on a mile or 2 trail walk.
I gotta say a Holmes hobbies motor 12t trailmaster sport and 1080 esc seems to be plenty efficient in my trx4. You would probably want a bigger pack if your going that far, but I do have a brushless scx10ii (3800kv slate/mambax) that will go 2 miles on a 2200mah battery
@@ryurc3033 I have 5000 mah traxxas batteries so they last a good while and I can tack a few along. I just don’t want to fry the electronics on long trails with the traxx.
Have you had any problems with the plastic panhard bar mount? Thanks for bringing out the Traxx again. Also I have the same orange Traxx truck, but I got lucky and have the first release version with the clear windows. I love mine
hey you fixed the main problem with the tracks maybe one of the rc parts makers will take notice there was so much potential with the tracks when they released them but they just slipped so much
Are you adjusting the tension of the Traxx? I had to do it after about my 3rd use as the tracks did their initial stretch and then I do another turn after a few months.
@@ExocagedRC Well shoot, I figured as much. I got a deal on the Mamba x and 3800kv sensored motor a while back not knowing any better.. I just can't find anything it's good for.. too much kv..
Well... You can use a few strands, on each track. In a futile attempt, to get them to stop slippin... I mean, if your confident, you've done all you can do to prevent the slippage... Tell traxxas they need a tighter tolerance track. You got enough influence, to make suggestions like that... I'd kinda like to see a solid sucess story out of the traxxas tracks, performance wise. Like so many traxxas products. They had every chance to get em right. And just fall short. But for the price... They're a hard pass, for me. Besides... The integy track assemblys, look way better... Cool video. The track is lookin good! Cant wait to see it top dressed with the new soil!
Couldn't agree more , When you pay traxxas prices you expect a fairly polished plug and play product but these ain't it ! These should be internally belted or reinforced from the get go to eliminate flex and stretch. Great ideal , just poorly executed

Buddy I’m glad to have you.
Exo, you're a savage! Thanks for uploading quality content daily for my morning RC fix.
really what the tracks system needs is a revision to add a tensioner roller to keep the tracks tight
Have you tried with wheels in the front and treads on the back? Maybe with an underdrive in the front, so the speed difference isn't too big.

That's insane!!! I'm gonna have to go brushless in my rig now!!

That's really cool mate 👍🦘😁🤣🤣.
Going to get another hoodie for my grandson ✌️👌👍🤗
Awesome man!

Amazing like that speed perfect thats what u need on a crawler lil power

Did you check out your temps running that set up with the extra weight of tracks just curious 🤔 & love the vids man keep up the hard work 👍
Always enjoy the Traxxas content. Good job man!!!
Working on a tactical unit with the same tread. There is an adjuster in the track. I was wondering if you tightened it any?
Yeah there is a little adjustment in traxx for tensioning.
I wanna see those traxx in some deeeeep mud! Something any normal crawler tire would just get stuck in! 😈
We may get some of that soon but I can tell you from what I have seen with others, they walk through it super easy compared to any tire
Search youtube.
The vids exist....

Yeah I’ve tried that several times
I wanna see some tracks on the 6x6 hauler
Traxx on the hauler???
Hey Joe do you think that 3800kv slate and mamba x would be a good option for my 4ws Capra?
It will make that Capra super fast.

Yep sure is
Use braded fishing line...
How would that be any better?

Your getting off track . Where's the Raminator ?
Sitting in the living room LoL
Copperhead 3200kv on 4s
Put trax on the new 6x6. At least the rear. Then you will have completed your training
I’d like to try that but with traxxas over the tires like some skid steers have
Trax. Are cool. Git som
1😁
It astounds me that traxxas charges THAT hi $ price for their trax, & are as 'chinese' as they are.

You can buy better ones on eBay. I have a set on my 1/10 scale Losi tenacity truggy that are rippers.
2nd lol
Never a fan of trax
