The Fusion se is awesome but if you can afford it, get the Fusion Pro 2300kv. Won't set a landspeed record but it will make a snail envious of the slow crawl
The fusion SE is a game changer for an awesome brushless set up…..not really saving that much buying a good brushed set up.. Great video ….love watching the articulation of crawler rigs.
I have both setups, currently running the Trailamster 21 turn with a 1080 g2. Love both, better low speed control with the Fusion, but better wheel speed with the 1080/HH setup. Both are great, but the 1080/HH setup is better for a tracked vehicle like mine. P.S.: the adjustable drag brake feature on the 1080 is awesome!
Wow the prices on your side of the pond are much cheaper than they are here in the UK. I just paid a little under $100 for the 1800kv Fusion SE and the Trailmaster and 1080 G2 combo cost just over a $100 and spent finding the cheapest price on both.
I’m running 3 fusions in my rigs and the only problem if found is all of them have broken switch wires and are now un programmable luckily they’re where I want them programme wise just had to join the two red wires together to get them to switch on ..rest of the wires are redundant as you cant get a replacement switch for the fusions .😢😢
I have run a 1080 with a crawl master for ages now and have been looking to go brushless for a long while now. The Fusion SE has been in my eye for a bit and I think ill pull the trigger now. Im over killing brushed motors with ever water hole. I need a motor ever other run or so because dirt/sand gets in the brushes and commutator and destroy them.
I think the Fusion se is the better option because of FOC. If it's possible to put a smaller pinion on the F150 that might help slow it down and give it more torque to help with stalls. 🤓
The 8t motor is too much for it 21 is spot on like the original motor or a 9 tooth pinion gear might get it to go slower. I like the 1080 g2 because of the drag brake change on the fly ..
That Ford it's running kinda echy, i have that same system and my runs smooth as butter...check out Holmes hobby RUclips videos, he explains how to set-up that 1080 esc properly

Wow great video perfect timing have to choose an upgrade for the ecto that fusion has amazing control 👊
From what I saw in this video and for the few extra bucks, I'd go with the Fusion Se. Nice job video and driving by the way.
Very much appreciated this vidio, you let me know good info ive been looking for, THANKS...
Great comparison 👍

@CajunManNick1980 they definitely both have their advantages. I've been happy with both set ups as well. Thanks for the comment 👍
@hellorc7678 anytime sir. Keep enjoying our great hobby!
@@hellorc7678 and another caviat of the 1080 g2 is the 8.4V capable BEC as well. It allows my servo to steer the crap out of my Traxx, lol.
Great video
both are awesome and cool crawling
Do you run the bec on 7.4v how do the little micro servos hold up ?
Did you notice power diffrence? This one is only 40a,and stock esc is 100a,i would get se,but cant trail :/ only forward/backward

Still worth it lol 😆
$80usd for the 1800kv fusion SE it's I think $50usd for 1080 g2 and $20 HH sport 550

Remember se is only frw/backward, no free roll at all, pro does have
On crawling se works but for trailing it wont😢 i wish they would make it so it could trail too
Very beautiful !!! Greetings from South Eastern France ! 😀 Wonderful K5 !
Hi!! Thanks for watching. 😊

Brushed a do the job but that brushless is nice
That f150 seems a bit jittery, stock system performance is better than that. now the blazer nice!

@@craigpimlott204 Awesome, Thanks for your reply! Cheers!
Agreed,my stock sport high trail is much smoother than that, and i dont get why fusion se is only 40a,even stock esc on trx4 is 100a
😎😎👍👍

I have 4 1080s great speed control that being said the other 14 rigs all have fusions or fusion se ,brushless is so much nicer
How big is the power diffrence? Se is only 40a🤔
