I have the Tee square it and the logo it and even with the logo it I just couldn't figure out how to place the artwork/logo. You just made placing the chest logo so much easier. Once again thank you. I really appreciate all the info that you give to this community.
VERY PRACTICAL technique, I've done the same thing for the chest, but your break down of the 'pocket/heart' placement really helped with this current print order I got, you win!! bravo sir!!
my verry first shirt I used 4 fingers, because the ware house where I buy my tumblers sells shirts as well, didn't have the neck ruler that I saw some use but when I went back yesterday I got a set for the different shirts, i'm shure if I go to the office store hobby lobby I get a t square on the cheep , if you have kids at jr collage go to the book store there and see if you can get one.
Thanks for making this! It was helpful. A follow up question i have is how do you handle gang up sheets when you have to cut out the different graphics? When I cut out the different graphics I use regular scissors and usually end up with odd shapes. The back of the plastisol transfers is usually white and I can’t see through it to know if the graphic is straight. I use my best guess but more times than not it comes out crooked. Vinyl is super easy because it’s see through.
good question. i'll make a video about this later this week. what i usually do is lightly fold the transfer and crease the center on top and bottom. i kind of show this technique in the Craft Pro review video with HTV. same goes for odd shaped transfers. all make the video to show you.
Versatranz sheets have ruler grid lines on the back for that purpose alone and helps a lot. Also what I do at times from my experience working with vinyl decals for sign ships is we manually draw a straight line under the main graphic and use that to level the graphic

G'Day Brandoh :D I am relatively new to the world of sublimation and HTV for apparel. Love your visual presentation for adding a transfer to the "pocket" area of the t-shirts. Thank you! :)
Thanks for all the knowledge ur dipping on us!! Really appreciate it!! Had a question with different t-shirts sizes do u change the sizing of the image?
Can you do a video of proper pressure? I did a hoodie almost two weeks ago and it shows a big square outline where it was pressed. Am i using too much pressure?
yeah theres no "set pressure" it all depends on what your pressing and the transfers your using. everything requires different settings. obviously hoodies will be thicker than t shirts so you gotta back off the pressure. its all trial and error. you gotta find the right settings for your set up. all presses are different.
What if u have an all over design like 4 transfer paper total. And it's for a white shirt so the transfer you use has to be mirrored faced down. Then what do you do to make sure its straight if u can't see cus the image is faced down????
before selling any shirts or delivering shirts to customers. its always good to test out your shirts, transfers and settings. whenever i use a new HTV or heat transfer, i press a small design on a shirt and wash it a few times to see how it holds up. once i dial my settings in with what works best for my setup. then i start selling them.
