🔥🔥🔥💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾 Killers tips 💯. I like your advice because you teach people not to be greedy and that the returning customer is the best customer. I like the ideas you have on this business because your strategies make this easier to profit and easier to even run the business in full.
I use transfer express for larger orders they never disappoint. And when they did mess up on two sheets they made it right, sent over 5 prints and next day delivery.
Great explanation on price break down....I've often wondered if I was pricing to high or to low. This clears things up..transfer express is awesome, I only have used them 3 or 4 times, but they have been good to me so far. Thanks for the info!
Ekkk, just ordered $500 of UltraSoft transfers, I'm sorry I had no idea you were an affiliate... I'll call on Mon. see if they would still give you credit... I got into the t-shirt gig by watching you & Stan Banks... I've learned a lot
You are ALWAY so on point! The advice you give is priceless. Glad to hear about your affiliate link with Transfer Express. You are the entrepreneur extraordinaire ! I make a point of telling all my students to subscribe if they want to get great advice!
thats right!!! running our own business, we all forget alot of shit when we get caught up in the daily operations. it happens to all of us! thanks for watchin
works with supa transfers all day long and even better is the price break down for multi color screen prints are crazy. so your price will always be cheaper than a screen print shop when it comes to multi color prints.
that would run your price up but if thats how you wanna operate, go for it. so a $3 shirt would cost the customer $6 and a $2.50 transfer is now $5. so $11 for materials with no labor yet is brutal to a customer. i know i wouldnt pay someone $11+ a shirt for a bulk order hahahahaaa but rverybody runs their businesses their own way. theres no right or wrong answer
adjust your pressure according to supa's intructions and set your heat to their instructions. that'll give you a good starting point. make adjustments as you go.
When you order transfers for the designs do they have to be the same to get the discount for ordering 200? Like can I order 50 of 1 design and 150 of a different design...?
I greatly appreciate the information on getting started and pricing. just got a few things to start my business as well. Keep doing your thing bro 💪2020 and up
Big brando! I appreciate the knowledge G. Been watching your videos and ive learned alot. Thanks! Quick question, do u press a second time? U said 10 seconds for the goof proof, but do you press it just once?
i wouldnt consider that a set up fee but more of a labor fee. because thats your design time. if im doin graphics for somebody, i always build that time into my labor pricing
Hi Brandoh. I was wondering how do you hand refunds or exchanges? Not sure if you made a video on that subject. On another note, your videos have not only inspired me but really helped me do something I put off for too long. So thank you for putting 🔥 out. 🤙🏽
reup on what? the customer bulk orders 80 shirts. you gona reup another 80 for them? im not i understand your question. but if you wanna double your shirt cost, go for it. these arent concrete numbers, this is just an example. but it seems like if you were goin off profiting off the blank shirt you would also need to double the cost of your transfers too. gona be hard to compete with print shops at that rate
Mr. Brandoh, would you mind recommending a few Sales and Inventory tracking software? I am planning on releasing my brand on November 1st and need to set up a quality software management tool. Thank you in advance.
I have my resellers permit and ENI # already, where do you purchase the alstyle shirts? I’ve always liked the fit and want to start out my brand with these
question let’s say I determine what the best quickest cheapest way for me to complete a customers project is for example I do dtg instead of screen print sometimes and sometimes I’ll heat press a shirt however sometimes I will PURPOSELY DTG or screen print a shirt even though HTV would have been much easier......I do that because I believe the customer will like the feel of a dtg or screen print shirt much better....but I never like to spend time explaining forever to each and every customer the differences so I don’t ask the customer what service they would prefer....I mean some don’t even know what they would like some customers are over the phone so I can’t show them the difference. I just know when I can make it nice (dtg or screen print) I try to do that because I’m assuming they’ll like it more.....do you think it’s foolish I do this? Do you think I should flat out ask every customer what they prefer and explain the differences over the phone? Do you have a process? Please help
nope. i would keep doin what you do. if its worked for you this long, dont change it up hahahaa. my only concern would be cost to create. as long as you are still profitable and all over head is taken care of. keep doin what works for you.
Wat up, just bought your enlist. Great great info. Quick question, if you had to press 100 black lives matter( white letters only 10x10) on black shirts. Would you go plastisol or htv. Htv is going to cost about $100 more, but I can guarantee the quality and life of the shirt. Is plastisol quantity vs quality??
two differenr print methods. plastisol transfers are screen printed transfers with plastisol ink. htv is vinyl. both will out live the shirt its pressed on when applied correctly. but weeding vinyl for 100 shirts is alot of work. if your up for cutting and weeding all that go for it. if not, transfers are what i would choose for that job
Great video. So can you do about 15 t-shirts for me. I’m starting a t-shirt business as well but need to rely on other companies until I can afford my own equipment. I’m close by, here in Los Angeles. 😊. Let me know.
So when you have an order and you have to order the shirts and the transfer how long do you usually tell the customer before you can have the shirts done? I’m just starting so I tell em to send me their design and or idea. I’ll send em an invoice within 48 hrs and then I can have the shirts done around 5 days depending on the order.
i usually build a weeks worth of production time into my orders. depending on size of job, 500+ orders i build more time. but knowing how long shit takes to be delivered.. but i personally dont like to work up until the deadline i like to build a cushion in that deadline just incase shit goes wrong hahahaa like ups laggin on my shipment.
@@BigBrandoh appreciate that! Love your videos too they are straight to the point and give great information. I just had a last minute birthday shirts and I was using heat transfer Inkjet printables and was trying to die cut with my cameo 4 and it was cutting off the image. Not sure why still haven’t figured it out. Smh lol I was scared thinking I couldn’t make the order but I just cut that shit by hand cuz when I stuck the whole piece on the shirt it had like a yellow tinted box around the design. Smh I’m learning everyday. Do you use cameo?
Big bro, I have the same press you have,TE says to press their transfers 10 degrees hotter if we don't have a stahl's press . Is this true & have you had to do this ?
check out my sample pack. thats why i made it haha. for this exact reason. having manual presses vs pneumatic presses. our settings will be different from the tramsfer company's recommended settings BUT not too far off. my sample pack comes with instructions how I lay the transfers down. and what works for me
screen print shops charge a rush fee for jobs needed within a few days. so you do the same. rush order the transfers and charge the customer for that rush fee
Can I get your opinion. Starting a tshirt brand targeted toward young adult men. Trying to pick a blank. Do you think the side seam matters? Some say the side seam shows a better quality shirt. Thx!
side seam or tubular shirts dont matter much to me. but young adult men is a broad group to sell too. i say this because, some young adult men like to wear their shirts fitted and some like to wear them loose. sone like soft cotton and some like heavy cotton, some like high and tight sleeves and some like long below the elbow sleeves... best way to figure out which shirts to use, look at your core demographic, check out their instagram and see what they already wear. are they wearing fitted shirts or loose streetwear style shirts? this will help you out alot. cuz i personally dont like side seam shirts. after you wash them they fit weird hahahaa but im also not a young adult. im a fat middle aged man that likes to wear loose fitting t shirts so my nipples dont poke out hahahahaa.
So if you make $100 do you eat the shipping cost when ordering the transfers? $100 profit, shipping to get transfers was $12 So $100-$12= $88 total profit
never eat the cost. total cost should roll into your retail price. but for example, when i order transfers i usually make the threshold for free shipping or when goin thru supacolor i can will call pick up my order. same goes for ordering shirts. i make the threshold for free shipping. BUT if you have to pay for shipping, the customer should always pay that.
Wow this video popped up when just in time. I am having trouble. So someone I know did exactly this but instead she wants puff vinyls and not dtf or sublimation. So ofc I have to add the crazy labor as thatd be alot of weeding. I did one tshirt for her along with other hoodies and sweatshirts but now she wants 100 tshirts. I charged her $20 for that shirt but now for 100 tshirts, idk how to price it so I went with 25% off order as she asked me if I can give her a discount and I was not doing my math right. That's about $600 off. Did I just make a mistake, or is that reasonable? 😭
Man I appreciate all this game you give out for free
