When you find the center of your image, I have found that if you fold it backwards your sides won't stick together. Thank you for all of your tutorials!
Hi Crystal, I fold my T- shirt in half seems to seem and press. Gives a perfect center. I also depending on my image, i fold t-shirt in half and then fold under the under arms give a perfect square center. I also double check with ruler comes out perfect every time.. thanks for the video.
What about when using sublimation paper? Do you still fold it over and make a crease mark with it to mark the center? Or will that leave a line when you go to apply the sublimation to a shirt?
Awesome tip thanks! What do you do if it’s a larger shirt, like a 2xl or bigger? Also, what vinyl do you use for shirts? I’ve found some decent ones, and some that crack after a wash.
I'm going to do a video on this soon there is a way to do it with this ruler hard to explain and Cricut also has a 6x26 ruler I would line the 3" mark up with the neck and the 26" should be good to go :)
Crystal when are you making the video using the cricut 3/18 ruler for shirts 👕 large, Ex- large , please I’m having lots of trouble cause the ruler only goes to 18 “ we would really appreciated . I’m newbie in making shirts 👕 I’m having lots of trouble trying to place my image in the correct center for a women large T- shirt ...Help Crystal ..lol Thank you in advance ! Be Bless 🙏🏼
Is there any tips when it’s not one single piece? I have ironed shirt in half. I do like that ruler. I’m doing a flamingo then words off to the side. I have the worst eyes on seeing things straight and centered. Lol.
@@YouCanTotallyMakeThat thank you. I have the ruler so I will be using your method. I wish I would have known about this trick before I ordered my other ruler yesterday. Lol
This was so helpful! I’m new to all of this and I’m having a very, very hard time ensuring my images are straight and centered. Thank you for sharing!
This is the best video I've seen on youtube about HTV placement on a shirt. Thank you
Thank you! This is the first video that I have watched that actually helped me get my images centered. Thank you again!
So glad you found it helpful ❤️

Barbara Hall that’s what I do to. I also do embroidery on shirts.
Thanks for the tip
Thank you for this tutorial! My designs are perfectly placed now!
I have a 3x15 that I use. I did that because i can square it up on my 15x15 heatpress. And I marked my center line on the ruler with black 651.

wvgirl_Amanda what vitro you use?
Malik Soprano unsure what you’re asking me?
Great info. What about if you have a scoop or v-neck shirt, how many inches down?
have your ruler only 1.5" below the neck line.
@@YouCanTotallyMakeThat Thank you!
It does make it so much easier. Thanks!

Where do you get the ruler?
Does the 3" work for children's shirts
I do around 1.5- 2 for kids
@@YouCanTotallyMakeThat thank you for info!! : ) Appreciate it !!
Thank you
Does it matter what size shirts you are working with?
baby onesies you want 1" below the neckline so a 1"x12" ruler would be perfect and kids and v- neck T-shirs are 1.5" below the neckline

The matte side is probably non slip.
I notice that you dont use a teflon sheet. Is this because your using the Easy Press?
Teresa Pradd yes I use a Teflon sheet with a heat press or iron
