    I am a month away from my start up business. Would you recommend the bundles on heatpressnation? Also, what is a good start up amount of T-shirts/ sweatshirts to have on stock, popular colors, popular vinyl colors. Do you mail out locally as well, or do you have people meet you at your home/ place of business. TIA

    • @BigBrandoh
      @BigBrandoh  5 лет назад +5

      you stock whatever you feel is needed, you can always restock popular sizes and colors as you make sales. as for the bundles they are cool if you need everything in the bundle. i think the craft pro press and cameo 3 will get you started for cheap.
      figure out what you want to offer and who you plan on selling too, figure out what sizes you want to offer and what colors your customer base would be into. nows the time to do some research on your future customer base. you easily buy a hand full of blank shirts and a roll of white vinyl and be in business. as you sale 1 shirt, use the money you made off of it and buy 3 new blank shirts. and keep it going. this will build your inventory and keep your business floating

    • @BigBrandoh
      @BigBrandoh  5 лет назад

      are you sure its scorch marks? or is it just a flat square?
      scorch marks will be burning the shirt. adjusting the heat and the seconds will fix that. check your temp with a laser thermometer. dont go off the read out on your press.
      if its just a flat square, that cuz the rest of the shirt is wrinkled and your only "ironing" a square in the middle from the press.

    • @BigBrandoh
      @BigBrandoh  5 месяцев назад

      pre press until all the moisture is out. it could take a few seconds or it can take few times. if you lift up the press and see "smoke" most of the time thats steam. of theres steam, theres still moisture in the shirt

    Wanted your thoughts - we are using easyweed vinyl and a hpn press, using the recommended heat & time. Our vinyl is wrinkling and even peeling/cutting at places. Am I doing something wrong?

    • @BigBrandoh
      @BigBrandoh  5 лет назад

      you gotta dial in your own settings for your setup. all presses are different. the recommended settings are based off of the manufacturers in house heat press. its best to test out a few different settings and wash the shirt to find out what settings work best for you.
      example, if recommended settings are 350 for 7 secs firm pressure. try 355 for 7 secs, 360 for 7 secs, 365 for 7 secs. on the other side of the shirt go down in heat, 345, 340, 335.
      its all trial and error. you gotta find the best settings that work best for your set up.
      peeling usually happens when not enough pressure is applied or when the shirt contains moisture. pre press the shirt till theres no steam coming off the shirt

    How do you prevent the ghosting square imprint from the actual heat press to not show up?

    • @BigBrandoh
      @BigBrandoh  5 лет назад

      you can adjust the pressure. too much pressure will leave the heat press indentation. certain color shirts show discoloration when heated up but the color goes back to normal after it cools down.
