That is some serious guerrilla marketing right there! I love it when people think outside of the box instead of spending tons of money on paid ads. Thanks for sharing! I really enjoyed learning the backstory!
I love your content. You've really helped me throughout my vinyl t-shirt business. You're like a one-stop shop. Thank you for being so open, honest, and to the point. You send some deep messages that can apply not only to your business, but life itself. I appreciate your time. thanks again.👊
This story never gets old! Just to show that there’s other ways to market. We just got to put in the work. I also love that there’s a community behind the brand. Keep it pushing bro
I had to pause it and comment when you said it’s a picture of me my dumb ass face! 😂 you got me crying man! Salute on you and the brand! I’ll be ordering from you in support! Much love from Nor Cal!
Brilliant! LOVE what you did. This is way beyond "Marketing 101" I think you have defined the level of marketing all -single-preneurs MUST work towards in today's expanding and in some cases flooded markets. You were able to create a new idea and expand it beyond social networks and created a fan club and more. WELL DONE!!! I have taken note! Thank you so much for sharing!😉❣
Great story bro. I worked as a creative director for a medium sized garment manufacturer years ago and this story resonates big time. Congrats on the success!
Awesome story! Very clever strategy. If I could like this video 10x I would. Definitely saving this one. Thanks a lot for sharing. Learned something again today 👍🏾👍🏾
as a newbie to the tshirt printing game i love that you can start from nothing and build something big you are proof of that one question i have is would you choose inkjet or lazer for your first printer ?
I had a viral shirt that did it in the fitness space. I wish my customers would have supported me and called out those that ripped me off. I even had another big fitness tank top shop on Etsy that ripped me off. Not sure what I can do to have them take it down or protect it, but that's pretty cool for you though
@@cellis3601 Unless something has changed, if you create an original design, it's automatically copyrighted under common law. The problem is it costs time and money to go after people who have ripped you off. Cease and Desist templates can be found for free but if you want to pursue, you're gonna need a lawyer. If you're lucky you'll find one who'll do it for a percentage - if not, 99% of business owners can't afford to go through the courts ... and that's how people get away with it.
Love the moves that you’ve made. I actually own two DTG machines, and they went down because 1-I didn’t have any experience, so I was trying to learn how to run the machines😂😂 then I was trying to learn graphics, which cause the machines to get clogged. Watching videos have encouraged me as well as disciplined me. I’m getting the replacement parts soon 😊 Now, I know what to do and have other tools to build my brand! Thanks!
Thank you so much for this video! When first starting out, would you suggest 1st wearing the designs and seeing if anyone is interested in purchasing them (and seling them face to face), or putting the designs on an online store and using print on demand? I think I'm going through the analysis -paralysis phase....want everything to be right before rolling it out, and don't want to waste money or time....😫
yes i believe in proof of concept. prove to yourself that your designs and ideas are worth moving forward with. this way you wont waste any money on stuff you cant sell. print on demand is cool but i dont recommend it. with POD you dont know what the customer will receive because somebody else is printing and shipping for you. people send me POD stuff and the print is crooked or misplaced or the shirt is wrong size or wrong color. i like to know exactly what the customer will receive. because im the one doing it. also POD takes a big piece of your profit.
lots of people tried to bootleg my idea. the audience i built behind my products did the dirty work for me and called the fakes out and shut their pages down.
Yoo! This was dope insight. I have a brand and I work as Disney as their chief photographer. Im going to look for creative opportunities like this to expand my brand. If there's ever a chance to link and chop it up I'd be totally down💯
before you purchase, theres different types of licensing. for better clarification i would read each license before purchase. so that way you can buy the right one for your specific needs. since i dont sell fonts, i cant answer this question for you.
Bro do you have any advice for a business owner when obtaining a business license? I’m in need of the direction to go, because I can’t use my home address as my business location we’re not allowed to out here. Second, I was thinking of using a virtual address but in the city of Orlando they do inspections for “Public” business addresses. This has caused me to be stuck between a rock & a hard place. I’m 1 minute away to cutting corners on this if I can’t come up with a solution soon. This is holding me back from starting my business & I don’t want this to be problem I deal with this year. I’m really trying to get stuff in motion. In addition, I’m looking for a vendor that can fit what I’m looking for when it comes to the apparel. I watched one of your videos on the blank T-shirts & wanted to know do you provide services yourself, other than selling the T-shirts you made ? I look forward to your feedback!
your not allowed to have a home business in Florida? im in Florida all the time and meet up with a lot of home businesses. im not 100% sure but i dont think the state will accept a virtual address for a business. you can try tho. The folks i know out there all registered their home business using their home address. i would contact your county clerks office and find out what you need to do to register your business
@@BigBrandoh Thanks for your feedback, what I mean by not allowing to have a home business is the “Apartment Complex” I live in specifically doesn’t allow people to run a business out their own apartment. They told me it goes against their “Rule” so they wouldn’t be able to sign my business license. I didn’t mean the entire state of Florida, specifically speaking on the location I’m at. I personally went to the office & they told me they can’t sign the paper (Business License) In order to run a business in “Orange” county if you have a home based business that is ran out of a home that isn’t owned by you, your property manager has to sign the bottom of the page in order to get approval that I can run my business here, then I turn the paper in at the DMV I feel the same way you feel, it’s honestly disappointing that they have this rule out here in the apartment complex. When I pay rent which is another reason why I’m trying to get my business going so I can get the H3LL out of dodge & out these apartments. Just ridiculous bro.
Ah gush meh @brandoh Am about to explore into t-shirt business For quite sometimes I have been investing my time and knowledge in reading creative art work that will aid me unveil my talents. But yours was greatest I have ever received. I love you Brandoh. You #aremastermind
