POD could be good for even a real brand if you could find a good enough POD customization service for the clothing depending on the level of customization youre trying to do. Like I want to make techwear jackets and pants and that's just not possible with POD. I have to learn to sew and find fabric and all that. Although if you want to get technical with fabric and design of the fabric personal care of the clothing seems the way to go. Till I find a POD that does close to 100% customization on all levels my main goal can only be handled by me. But if you're looking for funds to support your main clothing brand POD could be a good side hustle and you can still put heart into it with a good enough POD service. There are some solid POD companies and iv seen brands started off straight POD and not just someone trying to make a quick buck but that just isn't the route for me and I'm sure everyone here. @Joel Blanco depends on your capital. If you don't have alot I would say get a few samples, wear and promote them with a pre-order.
